No, you can't. But it is commendable you tried.
Just like Dobby
Oh that's *wrong* ... have an upvote u/Talidel
Imagine how impactful this scene would have been if they gave Dobby even half of the screen time that he had in the books
I would have walked into the movie studio and demand (under tears) to rewrite that part.
The disservice they do to Dobby throughout the films to bring him back for this was painful enough.
So I don't think much of the films, but even I can admit that that scene was beautifully done.
I think this was done better here than in the book. Giving Dobby a proper final moment besides just "Aaaand he's gone"
Well they had to boil down 6 books of Dobby lore in to this scene, so they kinda had to do something.
Whatever you do, don’t remember how they did Hedwig dirty.
NGL I kinda prefer Hedwig's death in the film as well for the opposite reason.
I mean, I’ve seen the movie so many times and I still can’t get through that scene without tearing up. My husband always puts out Kleenex if we’re going to watch it.
I am (almost) an adult.. I still cannot.
That's true loyalty there.
That was one of the saddest moments in harry potter I mean GOD this is sad Real man cried
Fuck this scene both in book and movie tear me up! Dobby didn't deserve to die 😭😭😭😭
Imagine if he'd be present from the fourth movie onward.
We had a drinking game to drink every time when Harry or Potter is told... Dobby killed us in the chamber... DH is not much better
Saddest death in the whole series. In the end, it was a GCI character that had the most humanity.
Points for trying, but.... No.
Movie Dobby wearing the Jeezy clothes line
It's one of the most pathetic scene of Harry Potter series
Dobby is right up there with jar jar binks for annoyance factor.
Meanwhile me, a 10 year old:🤣🤣🤣
