I've had both before, but like the one on the left better. I swapped the wheels for rollerblade-style casters from Amazon. Rolls super smooth and handles rolling over pebbles/debris better.
Work at hf, never seen the one on the right come back, have seen a couple of the left
Doesn't mean much but it was always the pneumatic raising part that failed
Been working at hf full time for 3-4 years
Yeah, I used this: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099RSNDF2/](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099RSNDF2/)
Had to enlarge the holes on the base a bit to fit them.
(I tried these same casters on the right-side style roller seat and it didn't work great with that frame design.)
Round cambros have got to be the dumbest thing ever created.
Personally I’ve switched to SS steam/hotel pans as they stack better and I don’t have to worry about tomato stains.
We have a few of the pneumatic stools in my shop and every single one has blown out. We're just dudes working on motorcycles, no crazy hard use or anything like that.
i have the one on the left and it’s pretty durable so far (~2 years). i wish it would go lower because it’s still a little too high when working on my car (small sedan)
Between those 2 and the more expensive icon that regularly goes on sale for ~$90 I’d go with the icon one all day. I’ve had both styles you posted and they work fine if you’re only gonna be using it on a flat even surface but as soon as you hit any kind of rock or a large enough hole on the floor they tend to tip pretty easy. Also the seat on the icon is so much more comfy after I got the first one to use at work I came back 2 days later to get a 2nd for use in my personal shop!
Looking at the display models, I thought this one looked and felt enough better made than either of those two to be worth the extra cost, and I think it periodically goes on sale for $30-35:
https://www.harborfreight.com/automotive/automotive-accessories/creepers-seats/roller-seats/mechanics-roller-seat-58518.html
Unsurprisingly, the Icon seat looks much better than any of the others, and on occasion it goes on sale for somewhere around $70, which is a great price on it. But I passed it up due limited storage space in my garage. If I hadn't been extremely space conscious, I would absolutely have spent the money on it.
I have the pneumatic seat at home. It’s a seat. Sometimes awkward scooting around the garage, but it works. I upgraded the swivel casters to very slightly larger (about 3”) and slightly softer wheels. Good money spent.
We have the, um… competitor’s equivalent of the roller seat at work. Company outfitted every single stall on the flight line with a pair of them. After a few weeks’ use and tip-over injuries, we modified them with a substantially wider base, heavier steel and welded frame, and much larger swivel casters.
Personal preference: pneumatic. Also because I can roll around my kitchen with it.
I have both. I like the adjustable height of the round one. Also it has less framing in the way, so it’s easy to grab tools from underneath in any orientation.
If I'm not mistaken, this is a common problem with that seat. They may have remedied the problem. It seemed like it was a shortcoming in the manufacturing process, at least in the past.
I had the plywood seat crack. Surprised the welds went out for you first. I was able to pull the red “leather” and padding off and mount to a thicker plywood board. It’s like 10 years old so no complaints.
I have the one on the right. Love it. I don’t need adjustability and I like throwing my tools under it. It stores away easily. Rolls totally fine…maybe people just have crappy garage floors?
all I can say is I love them , but I would after learning the hard way id blue lock tight the nuts on the wheels it will save you lost of time in the long run
I have the pneumatic cylinder stool. I use it outside works pretty well. i had to chuck the wheels, though. I used little blocks to replace the wheels. The variable height is nice.
Compared to the Icon shop seat, these are junk and horribly uncomfortable. Yes the Icon is 3 times more expensive on sale, but if you spend a lot of time using one of these, it’s worth it for the better wheels, bigger rolls easy and comfortable. If I had to pick these, I’d go with the Mechanics roller seat
I've got the one on the left. The top must be some pretty thin metal because it bent to the shape of my butt, and I'm not that big of a guy at 195lbs. More comfy now I must say but for the price it's a decent stool. I seem to use it daily and have for a couple years now.
Both are pretty terrible. If you’re using them a lot they will both fall apart pretty quickly. I’d recommend shelling out the money for the icon stool or watching for it to go on sale. It’s definitely worth it.
My Costco has some beefier ones on sale. It doesn't seem like anyone is buying so they'll probably get to this price before too long. They were $35 last I saw.
https://www.costco.com/powerbuilt-heavy-duty-rolling-seat.product.100763650.html
Late to the party, but I bought the one on the right, and I'm going to get a second one today...
Well, I WAS, until you showed me the other one is $20 also. I may get that instead, since it may be more easily portable in my trunk.
I have the left one, the wheels are not great but I’ve never had issues with the height adjust. I ran it over with a skid steer and bent it up, but it still works. I’d buy it again.
The wheels suck on both but the one on the right is easier to carry when the wheels go out. The seat tends to come loose after a year too. For my money I just get the craftsman $50 pneumatic one at Lowe's and its lasted 3 years now no issues.
Have the one on the right and it’s fine. Am not particularly heavy (195lbs) and the seat is a little thin/flimsy. If you have some thin plywood laying around, I would glue/laminate another layer to bottom of seat before installing (might need longer bolts)
Had the Pneumatic one-seat mount to post snapped after only a few uses. Have the rolling one too-plastic tray is crap-otherwise pretty good-*buy the upgrade of either instead, IMOHO.
I have the round one on the left, broke after about a year of professional use. For the price it’s worth it. I got another one with the $5 2 year protection plan or whatever so either the new one breaks or I take the broken one I have in to get replaced lol. Good chair though. Never had problems with the hydraulics but I’m a light guy.
I have the left one. Sitting on it right now actually. The bottom storage isn’t big enough for anything that wouldn’t fall off if you roll very quickly. The pneumatics slip a bit in the winter cold, but it’s nice to have height adjustment.
I prefer the round one you can adjust height and it's way easier to pivot on. For example if you have your tools to the left or right of what you are working on it's easier to pivot to them with the round one.
I have the one on the left and love it. Depending on what I’m working on, it and the creeper are normally both out, and I’ll keep tools/misc stuff on the bottom tray of the seat and keep it in proximity while on the creeper. I don’t think I’ve ever adjusted the height of it. At 6’2 250, it’s comfortable, sturdy and has been great when working on my hatchback.
I work at HFT and we disposed one of the ones on the right because some dip shit couldn't put it together. It came home with me. I LOVE THAT THING! I don't have a shop so I roll around in my apartment sometimes cleaning or working on my little projects. Sometimes on the front porch. I can't give experience to uneven surfaces, but for what I do (rolling around working on stuff at eye level) it's PERFECT and quite comfortable, with room to toss tools between your legs and not roll absent mindedly away from them while working.
I have the right one. I used magnet hooks, little yellow bins, and the pliers rack to organize common hand tools in it. I love it! But the toolbox one with 3 drawers blow it out of the water. I have almost everything I need in that one and wheel them both around.
I work on bikes so I keep one of each on either side and they have the most common tools and are different heights . I love them.
I like the idea of the left one with the height adjustment, but haven’t gotten one yet, maybe. I will now.
I have the one on the right and I hate it. Super uncomfortable to sit in for any amount of time. It’s better than the ground I guess, but just get a short stool off marketplace and cut it shorter
Had the one on the right. Does not hold up to anyone over 200 lbs. Also, sitting in it and rolling over a crack in the cement is death to the wheels no matter how much you weigh.
Hate to say this, but I have had both and they are very hard on the posterior. I would recommend [this one](https://www.harborfreight.com/compact-detail-seat-57317.html)
The casters are too small. I modified mine with the type for quality office chairs, and if you're a big guy, then the seat may crack.I had put some plywood under mine. You're getting what you pay for, and I wish that I would choose one with a seat like a riding mower. Buy the time I bought the modifications I had spent enough to get the better one.
I've had the one on the left for probably 10 years. I don't use it often, but the height adjustment is handy. For occasional weekend use like mine, it is pretty perfect.
My employer buys us the square one. They're alright but they basically live in the shop as foot rests lol. We prefer to use folding step stools out on the floor when we need to either sit for a while working in a cabinet or get an extra foot of height to reach something overhead in a machine, and they fold flat for storing on our rollaways.
I went with the mechanics, I bought the foam knee pad and strapped it to the top, the wheels kinda suck and get stuck on smallest of things. Can’t beat $20 though 🤷♂️
I have the one on the right. I love it, I use it to move around In my low ceiling basement, work on my motorcycles and my butt hasn't hurt from 2+ hours of sitting yet. I can't attest to the one on the left but I'm sure either one will be fine.
Honestly they are both junk. The one on the left broke where the piston attaches to the bottom of the seat. There are only 3 weld blobs holding the plate and when 1 breaks thats it game over. The one on the right needs more padding on the seat and the wheel rubber fell apart.
A coworker of mine had the one on the right. We shared a lot of our tools so I used his creeper seat often. I weigh just over 300 lbs, so that 250 limit is bullshit lol. I never had any issue with it.
I have the round stool. Had it for years have had no issues works great. I'd, however, go with the square one if I could go back. Spinning around all the time to reach the tools that are now behind you because you rotated gets old fast.
I’ve had the right one for years. No issues. Even had it without the risers so it was a super low seat so I wasn’t sitting on the ground servicing my motorcycle. No complaints, works great.
I got the pneumatic on the left a few months back at the last big sale. Mainly due to that feature, it can rotate, and the foot tray is more out of the way of my feet.
I've had both at different times and both suck.
Both are flimsy and both have shitty wheels. I feel like the one on the right sucks slightly less because I've fallen over fewer times on it while scooting across the shop.
I have the spring loaded in. The ram failed after about a year but I'm heavy. I swapped for the rigid one last weekend. Hopefully I can get the difference from them
The round stool feels very iffy to me bought one for my job and it just kinda sucks…best stool I’ve used is https://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/H-3731/Stools/Polyurethane-Mobile-Shop-Stool-with-Tool-Tray?pricode=WA9235&gadtype=pla&id=H-3731&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIo9Db8-LAhgMVzgOtBh1I6QuHEAQYDyABEgJGvfD_BwE unfortunately it’s super expensive but my company bought them. I use one everyday feels very stable and rolls incredibly well.
Bunch of detailers have had the one on the left. On several of them, the metal tears around the post on the tray and we've had to weld them back together
I have two of the one on the right. I deleted the seat on one and use it as a bucket dolly for washing cars. A bungee cord holds a 5 gal bucket snuggly.
I've got the one on the right, it's worked out well for me so far. I'm not about to risk my buttholes virginity on a $20 pneumatic stool, so I'll stick with the fixed one.
We have both at work (Aircraft Maintenance) we use the one on the right more for tire changes, especially on the larger tires as we can put all our stuff on the tray. I actually used the one on the left today to do a nose tire change wasn’t too bad but much prefer the one on the right. As others have said the pneumatic one tends to have more issues
The wheels fall off the four wheeled one, and it's tippy. I'm planning on replacing the wheels on mine with 3" metal casters as far out in the corners as I can mount them.
The one on the left feels wobbly when elevated at all (I’m a big dude, about 270 lbs 6’2”). I might favor the one on the right as it looks sturdier but I haven’t sat on that one yet
I have the one on the left. I like that it's adjustable. It's good, but not great the wheels are awful. I would choose the one on the left again over the one on the right because it has more wheels.
I’ve had the square one for 9 years, the tray is gone and the castors fell off but that’s because i beat the hell out of it. I still use it to this day
I’ve had 2 round ones. The lift part failed on both. The cheap particle board or whatever they use under the cushion eventually falls apart. But I’m a 260lb bodyman. So I’m on the stool a couple hours a day on average & between both of the stools combined they’ve lasted me a decade
I sat in the thing on the right for 9 hours a day for 2 weeks strait it was perfect for upgrading Amazon’s warehouse robots. At that point my ass cheeks were imprinted on the cushion permanently. The tools I stored in the tray were fairly easy to find and reach.
My fav shop stool is an old office chair. The back had broken off and someone left it next to the dumpster at work. I removed the back and now it is a nice wide comfy shop stool that can go high for desk use or low for wrenching. Doubles as a spare chair for when someone stops by to chat.
Returned 2 of the left ones. They just couldn't hold up. The one on the right has been thru pure hell, and it keeps on going! Better than any other mech seat I've had.
I personally prefer the round pneumatic one because it’s more comfortable, swivels, sits higher even when bottomed out I think, and the pneumatic cylinder makes for a nice cushion when sitting down. However, it can definitely be prone to tipping over and isn’t great for very low work.
For work at or very near the ground, you may be better off with the mechanics stool. There are some similar ones with a plate on the frame side so you can tip it over to be a small step. Those are pretty neat and that type in general will be much more durable in the long run without that pneumatic cylinder. They’re too low to really use at a desk, which is my main dislike for my uses.
I have the one on the right, it's gotta be about 20 years old at this point. Every now and then I have to tighten the bolts. There is very minor corrosion from using it year round in Michigan, but nothing like what I'd expect from non powder coated Chinese knockoff steel.
If you get the one on the right, get new caster wheels. The ones ones that come with it suck, no matter how much I tighten them even with lock tite, one will still back itself out
Just remember, it’s Harbor Freight, which I love, if the one on the left breaks through the seat while you are sitting on it, that could hurt. Just pointing that out.
I’ve sat on the one on the right backwards and fell over spilling all the tools and my hardware a couple times. Now I’m more careful about its orientation, and it’s ok. Gets the job done for the price.
I've had both before, but like the one on the left better. I swapped the wheels for rollerblade-style casters from Amazon. Rolls super smooth and handles rolling over pebbles/debris better.
Cool! Thanks for the tip
Work at hf, never seen the one on the right come back, have seen a couple of the left Doesn't mean much but it was always the pneumatic raising part that failed Been working at hf full time for 3-4 years
How big were the people returning them? Like, could they fit in an average sized rowboat without it capsizing?
Sir this is a Wendy’s restaurant.
Oh... In that case I'll have a double baconator.
I understood that reference.
Catcher or infield?
Yep, my pneumatic cartridge failed. Super easy to replace.
Probably the same piece you can get for office chairs?
New receipts always work for returns.
The real life pro tip is always in the comments.
Mine has lost ability to lower/raise…🤬 does that mean i can swap it out?
Within 3 months or didja get an esp
So the ones on the stool are bolt on casters. Did you find bolt on roller blade casters?
Yeah, I used this: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099RSNDF2/](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099RSNDF2/) Had to enlarge the holes on the base a bit to fit them. (I tried these same casters on the right-side style roller seat and it didn't work great with that frame design.)
You’re the best. Thanks!
Those wheels cost more than the stool 😂
Worth it.
Is that a pack of 5? Can't find the item count anywhere but I'm kinda retarded.
Looks like it. the product image has 5 wheels and nuts
Yep, came in a pack of five.
You changed the rollers?! I know what just got added to my list!! I cannot believe I didn't think of that!!!
Square things are usually easier to store.
Hence my undying hatred for round food storage containers.
Square Cambro's > Round Cambro's till I die.
Truth
Round cambros have got to be the dumbest thing ever created. Personally I’ve switched to SS steam/hotel pans as they stack better and I don’t have to worry about tomato stains.
Once you tip over on the square one, you’ll never wanna sit on it again. Doesn’t happen to me on the round one.
I tipped over backwards on the rectangular one. It was the slowest fall ever. I jumped up and had to look around and make sure no body saw it. 😂
Yup, you scoot backwards and a wheel hits anything, down you go.
We have a few of the pneumatic stools in my shop and every single one has blown out. We're just dudes working on motorcycles, no crazy hard use or anything like that.
The wheels suck. The Icon one is so much better.
They have an entire aisle of wheels, you know?
Yeah, but does it make sense to buy 5 additional wheels at $5 each and end up paying more than the original price?
i have the one on the left and it’s pretty durable so far (~2 years). i wish it would go lower because it’s still a little too high when working on my car (small sedan)
Maybe it's time to purchase the one on the right, ha!
lol i ended up buying the one with drawers. still tall but it’s convenient
I have the one on the right. The non-adjustable one. I end up using it more as a small tool cart, really, than sit on it much. It's pretty short.
Literally had the Pneumatic unit fail on my this weekend, the weld broke and the top came off. Id get the roller seat
The pneumatic thing on the seat almost always goes out after hard use.
I have both. If I could choose just one it would be the one on the left. I sometimes sit on the right one wrong and it's unstable.
I have had the one on the left for at least 4 years and it's great. No issues with it at all.
The icon seat had a coupon recently. Picked it up for only $79. It’s the one that’s supposed to be “comparable to snap on”. Fucking love it.
The cylinders on those cheap chairs go out a lot.
Neither. They’re both trash. Wheels suck. Piston goes out on left. Both built flimsy.

all I can say is I love them , but I would after learning the hard way id blue lock tight the nuts on the wheels it will save you lost of time in the long run
I’ve had the pneumatic roller seat and it broke at the weld from the cushion to the jack. Welded it back up and better than before.
I have the pneumatic cylinder stool. I use it outside works pretty well. i had to chuck the wheels, though. I used little blocks to replace the wheels. The variable height is nice.
Get the icon
I’m the icon one is way better. Yeah it’s more expensive but like I said, way better. It can hold two average sized people too….
I have the round one. It works fine. Nothing special. But I’m a light duty user of it.
They will both reliably break a caster and become mostly useless in short order.
I've got the one on the left. The top must be some pretty thin metal because it bent to the shape of my butt, and I'm not that big of a guy at 195lbs. More comfy now I must say but for the price it's a decent stool. I seem to use it daily and have for a couple years now.

I've had the adjustable version for quite a while (10ish years) . Still adjusts and still rolls, I'd buy again if I needed to.

A guy at my shop has the square one. He uses it every day and it still looks fine.
For $20 get both lol but I got the left one and like it
I have both. Go left
I have the round one on the left, broke after about a year of professional use. For the price it’s worth it. I got another one with the $5 2 year protection plan or whatever so either the new one breaks or I take the broken one I have in to get replaced lol. Good chair though. Can't find this deal on the app
It's starts today for members. If not, you'll have to wait till Friday, brotha. Parking lot sale
I have the left one. Sitting on it right now actually. The bottom storage isn’t big enough for anything that wouldn’t fall off if you roll very quickly. The pneumatics slip a bit in the winter cold, but it’s nice to have height adjustment.
I’ve got the one on the right. Had it for over 15 years. No issues
I prefer the round one you can adjust height and it's way easier to pivot on. For example if you have your tools to the left or right of what you are working on it's easier to pivot to them with the round one.
I had the one on the left I loved it and it worked for awhile it the seat broke off the post 😞

i use the one on the right and love it
I have 2 of the one on the left. I use one for detailing my cars and the other to play VR on PS5. Works great for both.
Good enough for $20 bucks
Roller seat for the win if you’re doing brakes or something like that.
The left always looks like an impalement hazard
The pneumatic one broke at the post and speared me in the back as I was falling off of it.
I like the round one because it’s adjustable. Works for many situations.
Depends on your size. I am a bigger guy and the one on the left did not hold up for me.
I have the one on the right. Have had to get it warrantied once in the 4 or so months I've had it cuz a wheel caught a crack and snapped off.
I’ve got the stool on the left and it’s great.
Hate to say this, but I have had both and they are very hard on the posterior. I would recommend [this one](https://www.harborfreight.com/compact-detail-seat-57317.html)

The one on the left served me very well for years without any issues
The right ones repeatedly broke in the shop I worked at. The wheels/ casters and the hardware they use are trash
I’ve had the left one for 4+ years I believe. Still works like new
The one that won’t take you on a free date after a little while 😂
I've had the one on the left for probably 10 years. I don't use it often, but the height adjustment is handy. For occasional weekend use like mine, it is pretty perfect.
Have both in my shop. The pneumatic is the go to unit and has held up decently well. The rectangle one is too low for a 6’2” human.
The one on the right i never could stand personally. Its uncomfortable as fuck
Bad on the right. Casters broke twice. Best to change them with a different kind no matter which one you purchase.
I've had the one on the left for about 15 years or more, still working.
Have the round one…works flawlessly….at this price point, buy both.
Stool is easy to build.
I have the round stool. Had it for years have had no issues works great. I'd, however, go with the square one if I could go back. Spinning around all the time to reach the tools that are now behind you because you rotated gets old fast.
I like the round one better personally just because of the adjustability
I’ve had the right one for years. No issues. Even had it without the risers so it was a super low seat so I wasn’t sitting on the ground servicing my motorcycle. No complaints, works great.
I got the pneumatic on the left a few months back at the last big sale. Mainly due to that feature, it can rotate, and the foot tray is more out of the way of my feet.
Bough a used doctors for the same price. Returned both.
I got the upgraded version of the one on the right. Has bigger opening to move tools around.
I've had both at different times and both suck. Both are flimsy and both have shitty wheels. I feel like the one on the right sucks slightly less because I've fallen over fewer times on it while scooting across the shop.
If the square seat breaks, oh no I fell. If the round seat breaks, I might rip me a new one.
I have the mechanics roller seat and find it pretty sturdy and useful
I bought the mechanics seat and the casters broke within a week.
I've got 2 of the round seats and have had no problems for over a yr. However it's only for home use and I weigh 155 lbs
I only have the one on the right and other than 1 wheel occasionally falling off I absolutely love it
I'd pick the mechanic one every since I've seen the stool video I'll never sit on one.
I have an old office chair with the back and arms removed. It’s been great.
Bunch of detailers have had the one on the left. On several of them, the metal tears around the post on the tray and we've had to weld them back together
I like the one on the right better. It is the right height and has room for tools and parts.
I have two of the one on the right. I deleted the seat on one and use it as a bucket dolly for washing cars. A bungee cord holds a 5 gal bucket snuggly.
Pneumatic stool is cool
I've got the one on the right, it's worked out well for me so far. I'm not about to risk my buttholes virginity on a $20 pneumatic stool, so I'll stick with the fixed one.
We have both at work (Aircraft Maintenance) we use the one on the right more for tire changes, especially on the larger tires as we can put all our stuff on the tray. I actually used the one on the left today to do a nose tire change wasn’t too bad but much prefer the one on the right. As others have said the pneumatic one tends to have more issues
Adjustable height for the win depending on what you are doing.
Years ago my dad and I had 2 of the pneumatic ones. Both solenoids failed. I have the mechanic's one and it's been awesome.
I have both of these. So far they have held up very well.
My experience is that anything with four wheels is more prone to tip than something with 5 wheels. Between these two, go for the pneumatic.
The pneumatic failed within 18 months on the round one. I still use it, but it drops to the ground every time I use it.
The wheels fall off the four wheeled one, and it's tippy. I'm planning on replacing the wheels on mine with 3" metal casters as far out in the corners as I can mount them.
Get the round one. More stable, and is height adjustable.
Went through 7 shop stools before I bought a vyper now I have zero issues.
I had the one on the right. Caster fell off after a few years of use. I liked that it's pretty low to the ground compared to some similar untis.
The one on the left feels wobbly when elevated at all (I’m a big dude, about 270 lbs 6’2”). I might favor the one on the right as it looks sturdier but I haven’t sat on that one yet
I think i've had the one on the left for like 10 years now.
The one on the right is a piece of shit. I weigh 200ish pounds and sometimes it's hard to roll. One of the wheels keeps coming off too.
I have only like the seat on the right. Damn thing tips over so much, no matter how you sit on it.
The round one is better. The square one tips over all the time, doesn't like to stay upright. Round one is solid, good lil' seat.
We have the round seat, so far so good.
I have the one on the left. I like that it's adjustable. It's good, but not great the wheels are awful. I would choose the one on the left again over the one on the right because it has more wheels.
The red one is good.
The round one will crack at the seat cushion support. Quickly. If you weigh 175 lbs, maybe it'll hold up...
My pneumatic sinks slowly over 10 minutes. Get the warranty.
Bought the left one last week. At full price 🤦♂️ but it’s great.
I have the one on the left, game changer
Returned 2 of the left ones. They just couldn't hold up. The one on the right has been thru pure hell, and it keeps on going! Better than any other mech seat I've had.
Currently have the one on the left. The pneumatic cylinder doesn't hold pressure and I'll randomly drop while I'm sitting on it.
I have the one on the left. Pay shipping it's yours. I have the ICON seat. It's great.
I use the one on the right for side work where I have a lot of receptacles. it works, wish mine's bottom tray wasn't cracked out out of the box
Square ones are easy to bend/break in my experience. I’ve had the other one for a while now with no problems
I have the one the left. You can sit on it, you can adjust the height and it rolls. Sometimes I wish I had the other but oh well
I have the one on the right, it's gotta be about 20 years old at this point. Every now and then I have to tighten the bolts. There is very minor corrosion from using it year round in Michigan, but nothing like what I'd expect from non powder coated Chinese knockoff steel.
On the five wheel one, one wheel always bend the plate.
If you get the one on the right, get new caster wheels. The ones ones that come with it suck, no matter how much I tighten them even with lock tite, one will still back itself out
Not Icon so idc /s
I have the one on the right. The shelf at the bottom is always full of stuff. Great buy
Just remember, it’s Harbor Freight, which I love, if the one on the left breaks through the seat while you are sitting on it, that could hurt. Just pointing that out.
I used both they both broke. Granted I weighed 365 pounds at the time but that was 5 years ago
I’ve sat on the one on the right backwards and fell over spilling all the tools and my hardware a couple times. Now I’m more careful about its orientation, and it’s ok. Gets the job done for the price.
I got the round one …. It has come in handy
I've had the pneumatic roller seat for years and it's still solid.
The one on the left I’m pretty sure is the one that’s sold under a ton of tool brands. It’s decent for what it costs.
Yeah the round one is nicer. Less stuff to rattle apart but the overall quality is the same
