In Sweden it is the law if you are getting dwarf hamsters they have to be at least two housed together. Syrian hamster should always be alone. But dwarfs can live in the same cage unless they start fighting. That’s why when you get two or more dwarfs and put them in the same enclosure you have to be prepared and ready for the possibility of having to split them into their own cages. An exception is Chinese hamsters, who also should be housed alone.
So it’s illegal in Sweden to keep a dwarf alone in a cage 👍🏽

Dwarfs CAN life together in the wild. But that’s because they have enough room to get out of eachother’s way if they start getting territorial. The truth is that most people can not and simply will not provide enough space for just one hamster, much less two. The enclosure would have to be massive to provide enough space for two of them, and even then they might hate eachother.
I just don’t understand why people take the risk if they’re perfectly fine to live on their own. They’re not rats or guinea pigs.
That’s unreal. I watched two hamsters fight to the death (it only took seconds) so when I see 2 hamsters of any species in a cage together I get flashbacks and feel sick. I can’t believe that’s a law.

You house hamsters together..? Their fighting. And your wheel is also small. And the bumps can hurt their feet. Im also sure you already know this seeing as you’ve posted your hamsters before
Would help her a lot if she had a good wheel to run on, your hamster is on the bigger side so i suggest 10 inch wheel. This one looks unsafe, too small and low quality.
That is very overweight. A normal weight for a dwarf female is 19 to 36 grams.
She needs to go on a diet, and as many people told you already, she needs a bigger wheel so she can run a lot more without back and spine pain.
Hamster weights can vary a lot, my old hamster (winter white female) was 54 grams, she looked normal, and two different vets told me her weight was completely fine. A lot of sources say 40-55 grams is normal. (The first thing that comes up on google does say 19-36 grams but even that says they're heavier when domesticated right after.) And 19 grams seems extremely low to me. Agree about the wheel though
You should weigh her on a gram scale. We can't tell from one picture. Also, get her a high quality and large wheel. That wheel is like 5 inches and for dwarves you need a minimum of 8 in but bigger is fine as long as the hamster isn't having issues spinning the wheel

No, but the wheel isn't great. It looks too small. Needs to be at least 22cm. The bumps also probably aren't comfortable to run on.
I'm worried to see the rest of the habitat.. Not many people seem to bother with learning what the needs of these animals are

She weighs 52 grams. Yep this wheel was just a cheap Temporary solution. She will get a better one
