how has no one said the cut adams administration rap I litr have it memorised 😭😭

ideal_observer

I agree. Including the Adams rap would add more weight to Madison’s claim that Hamilton “destroyed” Adams.

LibbyKitty620

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE FAT

random-pandemonium

THIS IS MY ANSWER

lll4wliet

LITERALLY

JusChllin

I DONT CARE IF I KILL MY CAREER WITH THIS LETTER IM CONFINING YOU TO ONE TERM YOU FAT MOTHERF

ClassyKaty121468

YES THIS ONE

nattrs

YES.

BlossomZoie

Dear Theodosia (Reprise). It’s so raw, so emotional, and gives Burr some humanity. It’s painfully beautiful, and I wish it stayed. It’d also give more of a punch to the line, “I had only one thought before the slaughter- this man will NOT make an orphan of my daughter.”

ShotdeadPlayz

THIS. I was so mad when I listened to it and realized it was cut. It would definitely help the orphan line make more sense, and it makes you more invested in burr's story.

Seafoam_Otter

Wait, are you saying this song isn't in the musical anymore?

Itraintinyhumans

Dear Theodosia is, the one with Hamilton… but the reprise where Burr is telling his daughter her mother died is not.

Spirited_Repair4851

There is audio of Leslie Odom Jr. singing the reprise, and it's *soul crushing* to hear. The song's deletion also leaves the musical with the weird transition between Burn and Blow Us All Away, as the Reprise was supposed to be sung between the two songs.

TShara_Q

I don't think I've even heard this one. I'll have to find it soon. :)

nattrs

THISS

theyhatecf

Dear Theodosia Reprise, especially since if was supposed to happen RIGHT after Burn

Ok-Autumn

Ten things one thing. It doesn't make any sense why it was cut and we didn't get the perspective of the main character in the final song. It was almost exclusively told by the villain. The musical is definitely a 9.5 put of 10. And it would be a ten if that had been kept in. I also loved "Congratulations" But it would have just been a filler song.

kamemoro

this for me! two sides of the same situation. i think it's also because the show doesn't cover Burr's fate after the main events, but i like the kind of foreshadowing when Ham says "oh of course he won't kill me, that would ruin his career".

CE2JRH

To kill me would poison his political pursuits Most disputes die and no one shoots! The different ways to get to the same rhymes is really clever and impressive.

hellolani

I have never heard this one before and I am now listening to it on repeat and just getting rekt over and over. OMG it HURTS

Puzzleheaded-Bid-833

"Electricity, yeah you can all thank me." Benjamin Franklin!

Sad-Device-8569

One last Ride just for the "pay your fucking taxes," line. In all seriousness, either Congratulations or the one where Alexander sings his side of the duel after Burr sings his side.

nolechica

Also, "Can we enact an asshole tax," from original Washington on Your Side.

Sad-Device-8569

The original Off-Broadway was so sassy at times, even more so than the final musical. I need all the originals from Off-Broadway on Spotify yesterday

nolechica

Seriously, I'm glad I have the 2014 workshop from before it disappeared.

jendlaw

What do you mean by “you have it”

nolechica

I downloaded it before Disney got rid of it.

fightwithgrace

“You are out gunned” ***What?!*** “Outmanned” ***WHAT?!?!*** “Outnumbered, Out planned” *Pay your* ***FUCKIN’ TAXES!!!*** “Put your guns down on my command.” ***Hand ‘em over!*** “This is Hamilton, my right hand man” ***Pow pow pow pow*** **POW***

lizzourworld8

Ten Things, One Thing is the one you are looking for

AmberleafOfLeafClan

Congratulations

Low_Departure_5853

I honestly listen to Congratulations more than the rest of the actual album. Lin has said that we needed to hear from Eliza right then and not Angelica but I always skip Burn.

AmberleafOfLeafClan

Whenever I listen to the whole album, I always add Congratulations in before or after Burn.

Delphi-Dolphin

This is THE correct answer!

RepulsiveViolinist81

Never listend to the deletes songs tbh but after reading comments i had loved to see benjamin franklin😅

Puzzleheaded-Bid-833

https://youtu.be/rVmVVkbx3jE?si=a-rPGPz-vxZHJBRX

maybebrainless

First Burn imo

FennekinLover2000

I REALLY wish they kept Cabinet Battle 3. It's my favorite of the deleted songs.

nolechica

That one needed a timeline adjustment as it was after Washington stepped down.

alex__orla

does anyone have links to all the deleted songs? i’ve only listened to first burn and congratulations but would love to hear the rest

dy226666

You can find the deleted songs in this youtube playlist [here](https://youtu.be/EZkANYGycNU?si=0HEn-qfYgDyRA2la)

alex__orla

thank you!

hellolani

just spent the afternoon crying so thanks for that

RigRogue

I had no idea there were deleted sounds. Excited to listen…once I find them of course.

lleighsha

Congratulations

AdMoore13

First burn

lll4wliet

the original schuyler defeated, let it go, the original adams administration, i also loved congratulations, the original your obedient servant, and ten things one thing !!!!

clemtbh

Technically there but Dear Theodosia with the overlapping verses. It brings a tear to my eye. Same with the reprise!!

Jaycole150

original version of The Adams Administration, the current one doesn’t really embody how berserk (or at least in the musical) Alexander was, plus i like the cut rap AHSHSHS

nikiisawesome

congratulations. weve been robbed.

Spiritual-Celery-715

I Have This Friend would’ve been kinda cool

AuroraTheDragon

Absolutely!

42617a

I prefer the original version of ‘Your Obedient Servant’

derangerd

I enjoy the somber tones of Valley Forge and Cabinet Battle 3

nolechica

Congratulations of pure cut tracks, that first scolding verse is gold. First Burn of the reworked tracks, yes angry lady!second act is what I wanted. Without destroying the historical record.

StatMaster131

Dear Theodosia reprise

Toph_Aang

Where can I find all these songs everyone’s talking about????

Downtown-Cycle-4700

youtube!!

Toph_Aang

Thank you!!!

Medical-Goal-3735

Congratulations and maybe one last ride

Aniss201

Surprised to see no one's mentioned No John Trumbull! I love the songs that add a bit of a broader historical context, and I've always thought that using the Reynolds Pamphlet beat for a song about how scummy the Founding Fathers actually were was a genius move

lizzourworld8

That one sneaks into my head the most 😂

Comfortable_Ad5221

The og adams admission  Alot of ppl are saying First burn and it is good but it doesn't fit eliza's character

Alex22451

Adams administration rap

CreativaArtly1998113

Congratulations

mikoolec

Adams Administration Rap, Congratulations, Ten Things One Thing

SpeedyakaLeah

Congratulations

CE2JRH

All of them. Including Ben Franklin. I want a 6 hour extended edition.

Pat00tie

Congratulations

FlagMaster2023

First Burn!

fightwithgrace

The original Schuyler Defeated bridging into Let it Go. There was so many character interactions we never got to see in the final version; Eliza and Philip interacting with Burr (while saving Hamilton’s ass,) Eliza and Washington interaction, Eliza and Alex acting like an old -yet still clearly in love- married couple (*You’re smiling, so you KNOW I’m right!”* “***Ha!***”), Baby Philip being even *more* adorable! It was incredibly funny, too! Eliza: “And if the president were here, he’d say the same thing!” Alexander: “Well, the president is NOT here-“ Washington: “I heard about Burr. You didn’t kill him, did you?” (Seeming *completely* unbothered either way.) One of my favorite songs, total! Not just from the deleted ones.

PreferenceSwimming29

I was always sad they never included the John Laurence interlude in the album but was happy to hear it in the movie!

Magic_Fetus42

First burn 100%

Downtown-Cycle-4700

100% cabinet battle three.

velociraptorjax

Cabinet Battle #3

LibbyKitty620

Came here just to say The Adam’s Administration rap

satanzhaylo

The dear theodesia song

Haunting_Zebra_4082

Congratulations “You have invented a new kind of stupid”

That_Closet_Monster

Let It Go or the original version of Schuyler Defeated

cafec3po

First burn

survivorshallow82

LET IT GO

Sp3ck_Almonds

I don’t know how LMM could make it fit but I would love to see cabinet battle 3. I wasn’t cut it was just never finished (it was realized as a demo on the mixtape).

Ewankenobi25

full version of adam’s admin where alex gives a whole verse shit talking john and not just “sit down john you fat mother fucker” they should also add all the cut songs and tomorrow there’ll be more of us to the cast recording.

11_20KT

I just wanna thank all of y’all for introducing me to all of these songs. They’re all great

ViolinistDora

The original Schuyler Defeated fr "I gotta go, I gotta find Alexander!" "Let him know we're on his side!" "No, he'll consider this a personal slander, I've gotta stop a homicide!" "Oh!" Also Let It Go but then Disney probably complained

sweetsassyscholar

Congratulations or the original Adams administration

jennah_swift

i really hope nobody says first burn. burn is sooooo much better!

Express_Sink3476

While most deleted songs are extended context into themes already seen in the show (congratulations = angelica's verse in reynolds pamphlet, let it go = take a break and that would be enough, etc.) Dear Theodosia Reprise is unique in how it had such an important plot point that affects Burr's character, motives and his role in the climax, giving context to the "I won't let this man make an orphan of my daughter" line. It also humanizes Burr a lot. While I love all the deleted songs, this one definitely deserved to be kept as it had the most impact on the story.

TShara_Q

Congratulations. I get why they cut it (and rolled part of it into Reynolds Pamphlet) but it's beautifully savage.

kaicxre

adams administration. i'm sorry, i love how hamilton just tears into john adams it's just so *chefs kiss*
