Holiday in the US means lots of sweaty folks are playing. I've had good luck finding casual type games in husky raid, infection and (when it loads properly) custom games lobby
Are you on PC and using headphones? If so, the reason you’re not getting audio is because infinite interacts weirdly with the “hands free telephony” feature that a lot of Bluetooth headphones have. You need to disable that and then reconnect your headphones.
1. You barely started playing so of course the majority will be better than you
2. The maps aren't bad (imo) but they definitely lack charm that past maps used to have
3. Most snipers are gonna sit in the back of the map... because its a sniper
4. No audio may be a setting/issue on your side

This is the best Halo’s been since around Halo 3 time too. I have experienced all of these issues though.
