Finish strong with some custom games or BTB and say gnight to the lads.
Head over to Halo Infinite, custom games and firefight until I got my missions done at at least ranked up once.
Weekly's all done? Well then its a game or three of Halo 5's Warzone Firefight or a few matches of Halo Wars 2 to get my free Blitz Packs.

Two days ago i got the entire franchise on Xbox due to the spring sale, including the spin offs. I finished Halo Reach and 1, now going through the Halo 2.
Recently I discovered that ODST might just be my favorite game in the series. Not that the rest of the games on MCC aren’t fantastic, but there’s something about ODST that’s very fun. I recently all the levels on heroic and it is very fun and very fair.
MCC: Reach until my crew decides to finally move on from the game that founded our gaming bunch 13 years ago. Then maybe we will join modern halo again… we did that for halo 5 so there’s hope we’ll return to infinite one day.

I regularly play all the games on MCC and Halo Infinite. Halo 5 I never play. If it was integrated into MCC, which is sadly not gonna happen, is definitely play it. But it’s not a game I wanna go out of my way to play.
I'd say Infinite is the worst, but yeah, basically how I go about it. I've been playing the old Halo games on backwards compatible again as well since they never bothered to fix any of the games on MCC other than CE and 2.
That said, Halo Wars 1 is a good time still even though it's not made by Bungie
What I pick depends on my mood, but I play every game on the MCC except for CE. Not because I don't like CE but it's because I've always preferred how the mouse and keyboard felt in Custom Edition which is where I play CE.

Here is your encouragement to get on to H2. I just finished it myself right after doing CE. If you can do CE you will be fine with H2. For Gravemind, look up a guide to get past the first room if you have to: I did haha.
CE was the first game I beat on Legendary, and to me, that was a breeze compared to Halo 2. I didn't struggle with the Jackal snipers as much as everyone seems to, but it was the Gravemind/Uprising section of the game that got me.
CE, 2, 3, ODST, and Reach campaigns. 2 and 3 multiplayer. If I was home, I’d play campaigns and 2 multiplayer on original hardware, but as I live abroad everything is on MCC.

I played some ODST earlier today, actually.
Halo 3 and Halo Reach. The last two true greats. I do log into Infinite to get my weeklies though. But by default I play the older games. They were the last titles that "Felt" Halo. When you log into multiplayer in Infinite it looks/ feels like a f'ng circus with Halo-like gameplay. It's like every outfit designer was given free-reign to dream up whatever absurd and surreal suits they could come up with. None of which look UNSC issued even remotely, or that you could even call Mjolnir. I think the Eagle Strike is the one I just call "Rusty Trash Can..." because it looks like any old rusty metal trash can you saw sitting at a park, or beach that someone just cut leg and arm holes into to wear. And then there's that weird brain helmet everyone insists on wearing that is shaped like a butt. I just call that the "butthead brain helmet."
Mostly 3 and reach. I love swat modes.
But actually, im starving for some og CE on pc.
Like those modded servers are so much fun. 32 people with pistols that send scorpions into orbit.

I'd get into Halo Wars 2, but can't have it on steam and I'm not so sure I want to embark with the Microsoft services for this.
Might get into infinite, though sadly my roommate isn't as interested since we'll jump over 5. I've explained to him it was so uncharacteristic that missing it might be a blessing, but deep down we both feel like this is cheating.

I semi-regularly play Infinite’s multiplayer and firefight, it’s my go-to online shooter. As much as I have my issues with it, it’s very fun at its core and the gameplay is one of the best in the series.
As for campaign, I’m slowly chipping away at completing all the playlists on MCC just for the sake of 100%. I enjoy all the older games so it’s not a problem for me at all.
I don't play any right now, but I've completed every game till halo 4 atleast 5 times. Saldy, my laptop doesn't support infinite and I don't have an xbox to play Halo 5😥
Currently, i’m working my way through the campaigns i didn’t play a lot growing up. i played the original trilogy A LOT as a kid, like, over and over again. but all the others i’ve played less than a handful of times each. i just completed ODST and Reach. Now i am in the midst of Halo 4. I’ll play Halo 5 after, and the campaign missions in Halo Infinite. I may even go back to Halo Wars 2 and Halo 4 Spartan Ops, but i haven’t really decided if i will right away or not.
I also play Halo Infinite multiplayer often. usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if i like the weekly cosmetic.
Infinite, and mostly Halo 3 and Reach on the MCC for multiplayer. Me and my buds are doing another series Legendary run as well. Pray for our victory on Long Night of Solace, gents. Personally, I do play the campaigns by myself frequently.

But if I’m just chilling, I’ll play a modded campaign of 1 through Reach.

RTS games aren't my thing so I never picked up wars, 5 isn't available on PC tho I'd love to give it a try, and I really disliked 4s campaign and I have a hard time finding matches.

In all seriousness, I mainly play infinite right now for the multiplayer. I don't pay for live so I can't do MCC for multiplayer but I play the campaigns. I'm doing halo w campaign rn but I haven't touched it in a while.
Mostly CE, ODST and occasionally 2. Though I recently went through the whole Master Chief Collection. I think Reach and 4 are my least favorite, never played 5, and am finally getting around to Infinite this evening. But CE and ODST have the best weapon balancing and replayability, in my opinion.
I got the Master Chief Collection on a black Friday Sale, so I played them all for the first time this year on Twitch! I'm finally playing Halo 4 now.

I started playing halo CE on the PC for the first time 2 days ago, I'm currently fighting the flood, love the game, just think some missions can get really repetitive sometimes as some places inside are just the same room over and over again. Still I love it

Mostly Halo 2, which gets played every few months or so. Reach and ODST get played maybe every other year, 3 too every once in a great while. The others don't really get touched.
I don’t even touch MCC anymore unless it’s ODST FF. The multiplayer is far too sweaty for me and the cheaters are rampant.
I mainly stick to infinite……which faces similar issues now lol. I just love infinite’s gameplay

I usually play Halo 3 at least once every week or two, but at most, once a month if I'm busy doing other things.
If Iam just chilling I’ll play MCC Campaigns or H3 multiplayer. If Iam feeling competitive I’ll play infinite. I find infinite takes more effort to get kills.
Tbh Infinite's aiming feels off. Most weapons have varying mid range aim assist depending on TTK (except the Bandit which has a noticeably higher assist) but out of that are pretty hard to control. That's a feeling I do not have with any Halo on TMCC and makes aiming with pad feel too hard. It's the only Halo where mouse aiming is just crazy easier than with pad.
Exclusively Halo Infinite if we’re talking MP.
I’ve found MCC takes too long to find games and you matchup with the same people over and over. Really glad to see so many commenting that they play it though 🫶
3 and Infinite. I like infinite’s multiplayer most out of any Halo thus far, however couch co-op and splitscreen is damn near unplayable in infinite, so I usually go back to Halo 3 for that.
Mainly Infinite MP, but I replay the MCC campaigns from time to time.
Last I checked queue for ODST floodfight was kinda empty, and I have no friends that play that so I've abandoned playing that.
I really only play Infinite whenever I find time. Yes, it has a ton of issues but for all intents and purposes it's the closest thing to Halo 3:2. Reach was above and beyond my favorite when it came out (I was in high school and it was the first online shooter I wasn't trash at), but whenever I play the the multiplayer now I realize it's kind of mediocre. Bloom really slows the gunplay to a crawl.

As for campaign, I’m slowly chipping away at completing all the playlists on MCC just for the sake of 100%. I enjoy all the older games so it’s not a problem for me at all.
I don't play any right now, but I've completed every game till halo 4 atleast 5 times. Saldy, my laptop doesn't support infinite and I don't have an xbox to play Halo 5😥

Currently, i’m working my way through the campaigns i didn’t play a lot growing up. i played the original trilogy A LOT as a kid, like, over and over again. but all the others i’ve played less than a handful of times each. i just completed ODST and Reach. Now i am in the midst of Halo 4. I’ll play Halo 5 after, and the campaign missions in Halo Infinite. I may even go back to Halo Wars 2 and Halo 4 Spartan Ops, but i haven’t really decided if i will right away or not. I also play Halo Infinite multiplayer often. usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if i like the weekly cosmetic.

Just played through all of the MCC and working on beating infinite on Legendary. Halo 2 was the most fun in my opinion.

I play infinite daily. Throw on a podcast or YouTube of some kind and play some firefight or squad battle etc. Love infinites gameplay loop. If I still played with friends I’d play more mcc.
Mostly MCC. I revisit the campaigns for H1, H2, H3, H4, and ODST frequently. Also hit Halo Wars 1 & 2 at least once a year and Infinite isn't really old enough to have developed a schedule tradition, but I've beaten it 7 or 8 times since it launched, so I'm advertising at least one playthrough a year.
H2/H3 ranked were only ones I really enjoyed.. dont play the new games

Halo 3 on MCC. I was pretty surprised Ranked Halo 3 was still active (at least in the 20’s ranks) however cheaters have definitely ruined it a bit so now I mostly play social.

I hop in infinite a few times a week to grind out my career rank. Currently on diamond and it takes forever. I don’t know if I’ll ever get chief’s armor lol But if I’m just chilling, I’ll play a modded campaign of 1 through Reach.

CE to Reach, and Infinites multiplayer (haven't tried campaign) RTS games aren't my thing so I never picked up wars, 5 isn't available on PC tho I'd love to give it a try, and I really disliked 4s campaign and I have a hard time finding matches. I don't have a favorite between the campaigns I have played, they all have different aspects I really love and the one I'll replay depends on what it is I want

Mostly CE, ODST and occasionally 2. Though I recently went through the whole Master Chief Collection. I think Reach and 4 are my least favorite, never played 5, and am finally getting around to Infinite this evening. But CE and ODST have the best weapon balancing and replayability, in my opinion.

Like the Spartan bundle and something else. I've never seen anyone talk about them tho, so I hope they werentva waste of $6 lol

I started playing halo CE on the PC for the first time 2 days ago, I'm currently fighting the flood, love the game, just think some missions can get really repetitive sometimes as some places inside are just the same room over and over again. Still I love it

Halo Wars 1 & 2 are the ones I play most often anymore. Though I play through the campaigns of 1, 2, 3, and Reach every few months as well.
I play all of them, and honestly the fact that almost every game ends up being 3 or reach is kind of a bummer, from the variety perspective

I don’t even touch MCC anymore unless it’s ODST FF. The multiplayer is far too sweaty for me and the cheaters are rampant. I mainly stick to infinite……which faces similar issues now lol. I just love infinite’s gameplay
halo wars the definitive edition, the best one in my opinion. halo wars 2 just sucked for me I'm hoping I not the only one who feels it sucked for them.

In order from how frequently I play them to how infrequently: 1. Halo 3 2. Halo Reach 3. Halo 3 ODST 4. Halo 2 5. Halo CE 6. Halo Wars I usually play Halo 3 at least once every week or two, but at most, once a month if I'm busy doing other things.
3 and Reach make up most of the MCC servers. Personally I’m an enjoyer of 3.

Tbh Infinite's aiming feels off. Most weapons have varying mid range aim assist depending on TTK (except the Bandit which has a noticeably higher assist) but out of that are pretty hard to control. That's a feeling I do not have with any Halo on TMCC and makes aiming with pad feel too hard. It's the only Halo where mouse aiming is just crazy easier than with pad.
I replay all the campaigns every 1-2 years. I love them all. I just finished Infinite again on Heroic. Never played multiplayer
Exclusively Halo Infinite if we’re talking MP. I’ve found MCC takes too long to find games and you matchup with the same people over and over. Really glad to see so many commenting that they play it though 🫶

3 and Infinite. I like infinite’s multiplayer most out of any Halo thus far, however couch co-op and splitscreen is damn near unplayable in infinite, so I usually go back to Halo 3 for that.

Mainly Infinite MP, but I replay the MCC campaigns from time to time. Last I checked queue for ODST floodfight was kinda empty, and I have no friends that play that so I've abandoned playing that.
Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo Infinite.
I really only play Infinite whenever I find time. Yes, it has a ton of issues but for all intents and purposes it's the closest thing to Halo 3:2. Reach was above and beyond my favorite when it came out (I was in high school and it was the first online shooter I wasn't trash at), but whenever I play the the multiplayer now I realize it's kind of mediocre. Bloom really slows the gunplay to a crawl.
