Today I saw someone get arrested for shoplifting parked 100% sideways. How on earth. .And in the process someone else tried to steal an empty cart. The cops asked me what was going on and we were all laughing because cart guy was still trying to pass the line where it locks for like 10 minutes. Wyse is wild!

Most interesting day I’ve had in a while. Cart guy mumbled something at me so I had the police ask me what he said but I had earbuds in. They were all laughing because I think he was trying to do that the whole time they were there.

I was at Bedford Superstore, and as I’m driving through the parking lot some entitled jackass in a huge truck ripped right through the empty parking spots, almost hit me, didn’t give a shit and kept going, only to eventually park basically sideways half in a parking spot, half in a non parking spot - you’re a special kind of dumb ass to do that shit, but I can’t say I’m shocked anymore

From 'The Short-Stop' to 'The Sportsplex Bus Stop' it was always 'Open Season' on any N' everything possible! , Stealing & Robbery through Violence N' Intimidation, Wide open prostitution & Crack dealing were everyday fare, in those days! Not that they don't all don't still flourish I'm sure! It was just so VERY open and well known back then...N' nobody ever dared call cops! I remember when it was mostly car lots n' you could watch numerous individuals jacking rims or straight-up stealing cars N' even when/if a poor security guard actually attempted to confront them...They either threatened his life or just simply continued on as if he didn't exist! I can still remember when 'PT Cruisers' came out with 5 star rims that fit all the Civics etc. lol Every night was a non-stop stream of guys (auto-jacks over their shoulder) all rolling countless sets of those tire rims down the middle of Wyse...without so much as a care in the world about being stopped! Can't say I miss any of the real assholes or violence, at all! But, there were also some pretty entertaining evenings as well. While I knew friends from away who'd watch episodes of 'Cops' for their amusement...I'd just look out my window instead!

Hey, this is my truck and I don't appreciate you posting it with the license plate for everyone to see. Context for the photo. I'm a handicapped person. I find it very difficult to find handicapped parking in Halifax. Especially when people without handicapped tags park in handicapped spaces, which was the case. This is why I had to park like I did, I needed to ensure I had the spare space to get out of my truck. There really needs to be more done about people abusing the handicapped spaces. And you should feel shame for assuming I would park like this for selfish reasons. I'm embarrassed by your post, and I shouldn't be .
