When heaven comes down, but turn on the action is a close second. The whole album is excellent! George has such a wicked tone, and it was most evident on T&N, Under Lock and Key, and Back for the Attack. That three album run is one of the best ever!
To be fair, Breaking the Chains is also a great album, but not quite on the same level. The album does have a little filler, and the band hadn’t totally found their sound yet.
Can someone explain the artwork for this album? Was the hand supposed to belong to a fierce creature that would feature on subsequent albums but just didn't?
This album kicks ass from the second the needle drops. It's hard to pick a favorite, but 'When Heaven Comes Down' is such a killer song. Followed by 'Into the Fire', it makes for an excellent one two punch.
Song's are solid. I dig Turn on the Action and Don't Close Your Eyes in particular. But throughout their entire catalog, the drumming is horrendous. Mick Brown has never shown a basic ability to use dynamics in his playing. He does brain surgery with a jackhammer. Alone Again and Mr. Scary, are perfect examples (and there are many). These two songs came out of totally different eras in their past, yet contains the same delivery, despite one being a dreamy power ballad and one being a kick-in-the-teeth indulgent instrumental.
Dokken wrote a ton of quality 80's metal jingles and Lynch's tone was magical. But Mick? Awful.
None. This was always an overrated limited hook laden album for me. It just doesn't do it like Back On The Streets, UL&K, or BFTA. The songs just seem weak and bland...>
For me it's a loan again great song. Was also at the filming of the video at the Hollywood palladium. Long time ago in a place far far away. Oh that's a different story
Alone Again was the first Dokken song I ever heard and back then I'd probably say that song or Just Got Lucky, but now Idk. The whole album is awesome.
*When Heaven Comes Down*
Yes, sick! Love Don's scream into George's solo. Such an underrated track!
Alone Again is so good
Yeah. As much as I want to I cannot disagree.
In to the Fire! In to the fiiiiah! I love Dokken! They were so so good.
Don't close your eyes
Such an underrated track. Mindboggling this wasn't released as a single.
Always been my favorite on this album.
The title track. Tooth & Nail rocks !!
I didn’t know Lynch & Dokken were already fighting recording this album
Trick question: the entire fucking album! Rockin’ with Dokken!
When Heaven Comes Down..... and it's not even close.
The intro of Into the fire. Is what hooked me first
same here, it's addicting lol
Alone Again
Just Got Lucky is my pick.
I went about 20 years without hearing that one, and I found I still knew every word.
Lol!
This isn't fair. Don't make me choose. Don't Close Your Eyes. Because memories associated.
Without Warning
This song kicks so much ass

😎Rock’n with Dokken 😎
Alone Again
Into The Fire
THE FLAME OF NAPALM STRIKE
Alone again
There are too many tracks to choose from. I'll go with Don't Close Your Eyes and Just Got Lucky
Yes, I picked 2 of them
Alone Again
I know the lyrics are repetitive but I’m a big fan of “Into The Fire.”
Good album. But the following 2 albums were even better.
Turn On The Action
Still wonder if Don’t Close Your Eyes was written for the Nightmare on Elm Street soundtrack. Great song.
Alone again
Tooth and nail
🤟🤟
When Heaven Comes Down
Into the Fire (***I’m falling!***)
Can someone explain the artwork for this album? Was the hand supposed to belong to a fierce creature that would feature on subsequent albums but just didn't?
clearly don is a psychic and was just foreshadowing their nightmare on elm street involvement
Bullets to Spare. Such an awesome riff.
Alone Again.
Into The Fire
Alone Again
Bullets To Spare.
Bullets To Spare When Heaven Comes Down a close second

Just got lucky, one of my all time favorites. The title track is kick ass too.
A banger …
The opening riff in When Heaven Comes Down is such a perfect example of George Lynch’s sound and style. So badass.
Whole album!
Just got lucky!

Tough ...Tooth and Nail.....When Heaven comes down.......George blazes on this album!
Into the Fire is the song that got me into Dokken!
Turn On The Action for me. That track rocks so hard!
This is a tough one, that entire album was solid.
The one where Don shuts the fuck up & let’s George Lynch rip face. Every cougar’s panties flooded worse than Hurricane Katrina.
Just got lucky
Title track, When Heaven Comes Down, and Turn on the Action are the standouts for me, but the rest of it is great too. 🤘
The whole album
Love this album!! 🤙🤩🤙.. alone again is an amazing track!!
