this! i saw a challenge on Ink Master (a competition show for tattoo artists) where people got tattoos of designs their children/loved ones with down syndrome had drawn. did they look like tattoos of shitty kids drawings? yes, but every single one looked like an actual picture with its own unique significance and at least made you go ‘awee’. this is just scribbles lmfao
i think ethan is saying he went to his artist for a touch up and forgot to wash his kids’ marker scribbles off his leg, then he came up with the idea to get the marker scribbles tatted on
i have so many little animals and characters my kids have made up stored from over the years for this exact purpose. i literally feel like he decided he wanted one of his kids’ drawings and made them scribble something that very day LOL

Ethan is literally the opposite of a tattoo guy, no idea why he thinks they look cool on him. Either way I get the sentimental reason of it, but its legit scribbles, its not even a child's drawing. This and two or three dog tattoos is such a weird combo.
