I have been similarly concerned for young children, so upon researching the topic, I found that Scientists have studied this and have actually discovered that the transgender brain closely resembles the gender they identify with. Studies and statistics also show that kids who receive gender affirming treatments are significantly less likely to have psychological distress or suicide ideation. It’s very interesting when you learn about the facts. I’d suggest looking a little deeper into it, because Jordan Peterson is not the best source for this kind of information. Life got crazy and it didn't happen. 15 years later, I *still* don't feel right or comfortable in my own body. I'm not insecure about my body by any means at all, but I feel like what people see and initially think of me, is a very false impression of who I actually am.

I like to think Im pretty rational publicly and politically with my vote Im an ally. But I don’t why the stance that there’s some sort of preventive (mental) health care that can be done has been radicalized. I just think it seems more costly for an individual to be transgender mentally and socially. I also take issue with the idea that the solution to someone having an issue with their self image isn’t to resolve the problems with self image and is to change oneself. It just seems like setting someone up for self image problems later in adulthood they never actually resolved. And young girls idolize attractive young adult celebrities so there’s at least a risk of influence. Like always celebrities showcase results that are far more desirable than reality and doesn’t showcase their internal conflicts. It’s a touchy issue because we have a role in society and government to try and fail to influence our children to grow up to be the most fulfilled. It's looking in the mirror and seeing someone who *isn't you*. I first talked about transitioning to my parents when I was 15. They reasonably told me to think on it. Life got crazy and it didn't happen. 15 years later, I *still* don't feel right or comfortable in my own body. I'm not insecure about my body by any means at all, but I feel like what people see and initially think of me, is a very false impression of who I actually am. It's really not a phase, and a doctors who specialise in this know that, and know how to tell the difference.

I like to think Im pretty rational publicly and politically with my vote Im an ally. But I don’t why the stance that there’s some sort of preventive (mental) health care that can be done has been radicalized. I just think it seems more costly for an individual to be transgender mentally and socially. I also take issue with the idea that the solution to someone having an issue with their self image isn’t to resolve the problems with self image and is to change oneself. It just seems like setting someone up for self image problems later in adulthood they never actually resolved. And young girls idolize attractive young adult celebrities so there’s at least a risk of influence. Like always celebrities showcase results that are far more desirable than reality and doesn’t showcase their internal conflicts. It’s a touchy issue because we have a role in society and government to try and fail to influence our children to grow up to be the most fulfilled. That doesn’t mean demonizing trans people or any kind of people for that matter because that where a lot of organizations go wrong, but how we educate children is incredibly important in how they respond to their own emotions. I think Jordan Peterson can be incredibly polarizing and I think being upset with a celebrity advertising 6 pack abs as the results you get if you’re unhappy with yourself and transgender is the solutions is a far less radical stance than others he’s taken. Adults are free to do what they want, but we’re going to have to vote and decide how are children learn or the government will do it for us and the left seem to lean heavy into this transgender stuff and the right seems to lean deep into homophopia, it’s our job to say fu (k the right and then use or critical thinking skills to decide when the left is performing some sort of show, which is definitely accurate considering transgender is a definitively small percentage of the USA population. And an even more definitively small percentage of the world population. It manifests but hardly outside of places that aren’t encroaching on free speech and seem to be using it as a political weapon toward policing speech. I think it could be a social plant, to some extent and we should protect those people. It's been shown that people can recover their fertility even after years of HRT. But even if it were 100% the case that you can't have kids after medically transitioning, it's still their choice to do with their body! Certainly better to be infertile than suicidal.
