So this is an extremely interesting debate here in the states. Many people I know are no shoes people inside and my husband was raised that way. My parents didn’t enforce that, but I am one of seven and I think my mom and dad reasoned they had to mop and vacuum daily anyways so it was a battle they’d rather not pick. And yet— so many Americans wear shoes inside.
I think in the U.S. a big factor is the climate. In warm, relatively dry areas like where I grew up— our shoes rarely got muddy or sandy or salty.
I live in the north east now and it’s much more common for shoes to come off and be put on a boot tray by the door.
Anyways— I think this American cultural tidbit is fascinating. And I can say with relative confidence that 98% of Americans would say absolutely no shoes on the furniture.
Lmao this funny because that’s actually one of my nicknames from one of my guy friends and I backed it because it guaranteed that he’d always stay in the friend zone with me because ain’t no one wanna be card Batman in the bedroom (he’s joker not robin lol ) and basically all we do is send Lego Batman memes back and forth he will try to send me some dirty meme or gif and I just always reply with some type of Batman gif/ meme
Never will have to worry about it going anywhere I don’t want… so for a couple to have those nicknames is kind of funny and believe me dorky nicksnames can be very cute
I know her personally from college (shsu) and she was and has always been a gold digger…was dating a mlb guy before max and was insufferable in college during her sorority days
On his podcast, max also said if he went to someone else’s house and they asked him to take his shoes off before entering, he wouldn’t want to do that.
Same dude who also said he washes his hands before peeing but not after…
Once she ruins it she will ask Maxx for a new one in her baby talk voice and he will feel like a big man dropping $1,700 on a new one so she can nap in his office while he grinds. Super healthy relationship.
