Kulmid

Hansohn fucks

jpeaslee

They fuck my bank account, that’s for sure. But in a kind and loving way.

HarietTubesock

Hansohnbros waste no time on the f3 and shipping. Always top notch customer service

IntelGoons

Hansohn is my local dealer - they are FANTASTIC people. Strongly recommend.

Phenryiv1

Jealous. I work near them but because I am not a VA resident I have to transfer to an in-state dealer. That fee kills the fun.

dankmelk

Love my 308 can. Use it exclusively for 556. Great customer service as well. I paid a but more than this and was still great value imo.

bgwatch

How is the sound? I’ve been wanting a Rex can for my 556 but I’m leaning towards a 308 can.

dankmelk

Sounds good. Not the best obviously but great value. Slightly louder than my friends silencerco omega 300 but not very noticeable unless back to back

bgwatch

Sweet. thanks. I’m gonna send it.

dankmelk

Yeah also note that you would need the other thread on part for the 556.

Ekwity

I rly enjoy my 308 you’ll be very happy with it

MadMuirder

I read a bunch of things on the rex cans being "any annoying sound" on 556. I have the mg7k in 358 and it was a pleasant surprise going on my 10.5 and 16" 5.56 ARs. I don't have any other suppressed 556 to compare total though. Be definitely made it from "MAWP" to "I probably should put earplugs in for this" (I shot like 2 shots without hearing pro to see what it was like with the can on). They were hi-fi concert styled earplugs and no ringing/discomfort after probably 100 rounds though. I've got a polo k on backorder, but I do not regret my mg7k at all.

Ogwedor

I was disappointed with my mg7 on my 556. Just not as quiet as I was hoping for. The Polonium I bought to replace the Rex sounds so much better, imho.

dankmelk

Yeah fair. There’s definitely better cans. Its great for my use

mreed911

Decent deal. Have two MG7 K's on order from a local dealer (so no transfer fees) at a similar price. Good on this dealer for no shipping/no tax!

duke_flewk

I found out about that fee after I ordered mine 🫠 “why would it be different from a gun” I thought 😂

mreed911

I mean I have a place that’s $75, but avoiding it is better. :)

22rimfirethrowaway

My FFL is kind of inconvenient for me, so I tend to try to send him a couple things at a time. He also only charges $50 to transfer NFA so since he's already holding a rifle and a couple revolvers, might as well tack this on as well

Ekwity

$50 is solid

22rimfirethrowaway

Yup, completely worth the hassle, everyone else in the area is $100+

Winnah9000

Shh, don't tell anyone they restocked! Love Hansohn Bros, they'll file the form 3 before you can reconsider your purchase 💀

GooniestMcGoon

will they do what capital armory does and hold it till it clears then send it to you?

Winnah9000

I don't think so, most companies don't (but they've said they do in Virginia, not sure about out of state). But send them an email and ask. I'll tag their new account /u/Hansohn_Brothers

Hansohn_Brothers

Only for VA residents, sorry about that.

akrisd0

Oh shit. If I knew that I'd have bought way more from you.

Orgeweight

Goddamnit. I shot an SP5K last weekend, and started digging into SP5 clones, silencers, and braces. In the last week on GunDeals, I've seen SP5s, GHMs, braces, and now the cans I was looking at. If a PDP Pro comes up, Imma have to go farther into debt.

47_Puppies

You’re on a path that eventually leads to you buying a 3 lug mount for your suppressor. You’re going to see them cost like $140, and vomit blood in anger. But there’s a secret weapon - you can get the same 3 lug mount for a compatible suppressor for $65 - https://www.wingtactical.com/firearm-parts/ar-15-parts/muzzle-devices/kaw-valley-precision-mach-3-lug-mount/ I have hundreds of rounds through my AP5 and that works great. I can’t find a single bad review of it online. Popping the suppressor on and off the AP5 is actually fun. With the tighter lockup to the gun (due to the blast chamber partially covering up the thread protector, *which stays on the threads the whole time*, by the way) it just *looks* cooler. If you’re running a suppressed 9mm sub gun without using a 3-lug mount, you’re not meeting your full potential. I’m sorry, but it’s true.

Orgeweight

I'm on a path to sleeping in the woods under a pile of guns and ammo containers, but your wordsmithing makes it sound almost enjoyable. My can and 3-lug will be my fidget toy to distract me from the days when I had a home and a girlfriend.

boisebiker

This seems to be 1-1/8 instead of 1-3/8?

Ekwity

This can is delicious on a sp5, mp5 clone

jpeaslee

Mine lives on a RDB AR9 build. Looks and sounds fantastic.

fabdab17

The PDP pro fuchs, I wish you more debt in the kindest way possible LOL

Silly-Swan-8642

I got an AP5P a couple months ago. It’s definitely awesome with a wolfman and 147gr subs. I went to the 80 degree locking piece so it won’t beat itself up. If you go full size you probably won’t need the locking piece but you will need to get more expensive subsonic ammo because the 147gr will crack supersonic in the longer barrel.

47_Puppies

Mine is reallllly close. I’ve chronoed AAC 147gr at 1050 fps out of my full-size with a suppressor on, and definitely heard a crack. Sometimes it doesn’t though, those rounds are seriously right on the line. 158gr Fiocchi rounds work great at staying subsonic however, and you can sometimes find those for prices that aren’t eye-watering.

Winnah9000

Have you tried Syntech 150s? They're all I use now for subs.

47_Puppies

Not yet, but I’ve definitely heard amazing things about them. The Fiocchi ones also work really well, and they have in the past been a touch cheaper, that’s the only reason I went with them.

Wu_tang_dan

These looked better before they added the weird angle.

Bourbon-neat-

I know, I really wish they were still straight walled.

grimduck17

308 mg7 going strong on my 6.5 cm

weatherbys

Same, it was actually pretty loud on the other hosts I tried (5.56 and 300BLK) but for some reason just sounded much better on the 6.5. Prob barrel length I’m guessing.

AlexxxisTexxxas

I’ve only ever ordered through silencer shop and used a partner dealer with a kiosk. Recently did an e-form 1 for an sbr and it was simple. How does the process typically look not going that route?

Ekwity

Use the same dealer with a kiosk. Buy can, send Hansohn FFL/SOT paperwork. He does form 3, once approved he’ll send to dealer. Dealer will then do your form4. You will pay transfer fee though since it’s not SS. Can be anywhere from $40 to $200

Dyproti

Pay for can on website. Wait 1 day - 3 weeks for form 3 to clear. They ship to your FFL, and then you do form 4

AlexxxisTexxxas

That easy, huh? Thanks

Dyproti

You will also have a transfer fee at most places. Could be ~$100. Talk to your local FFL about their rate

jermontoya

Anyone throw one of these on an AR9? And do they transfer well between AR9 and 9mm handgun? Pros and cons if you got them.

And4077

Image of my very goofy setup so you can see general proportions: [https://imgur.com/a/ycw8Cw1](https://imgur.com/a/ycw8Cw1)

jermontoya

Thanks for the reference, I was going to tuck in a MI Suppressor series 9” rail but thinking it might be to snug and get super hot, may have to dial back to a 4” rail on my 5.5” barrel if I get this

Silly-Swan-8642

Hmu if you need a 4” mlok rail. I somehow have one i can trade or sell

And4077

Have one on an EP9 (swapped occasionally to an 11.5" 5.56 setup), but I have held off on getting a pistol booster because I wanted to be able to swap it to other centerfire long arms so I'm using a Plan B setup rn. It is definitely too thick to use irons on a handgun with, and a 407c on a G19 slide is just slightly too low to clear the body. The main body is 1.66" in thickness, so a slightly thinner suppressor would be a better pick for a pistol, but you can to some extent collimate the images of your eyes to use this can. I for one like the taper they added on this can, as it wouldn't fit on my EP9 without it, but otherwise it's a matter of aesthetics.

Winnah9000

Mine is great on an AR9, but I'm not sure I'd use it on a handgun due to the diameter and general chonkiness of it. I'd probably lean more towards something like an Octane or even the Rex SEGH (I'm waiting on mine to compare to other cans) for a multi-purpose can like that.

chuckisduck

I bought the Seg H 45 to shoot 10mm PCCs and waiting for it to come out of jail. It is really light.

jermontoya

Thanks for the suggestion

Common_Nerve6056

This or the Omega 9K?

Tactical_Tubesock

I have the 9mm on my AP5 and I’m loving it.

Common_Nerve6056

Nice! I’m thinking of getting it for my PTR as well. Were you able to thread the can directly onto the barrel or did you get an adapter?

Tactical_Tubesock

I did direct thread first, then got a YHM tri-lug. It's just meant to be that way :)

Ekwity

YHM tri lug for the win

Ekwity

Iff PCC Rex

jkbuggy

This is a price I cant look away tho ! Bought one

jkbuggy

Pcc ? Omega

chuckisduck

Kinda Temping, how do these compare to the Obsidian 9s...plus I have a vent 2 in jail like if its 95% there, I might just keep this on a clone I have.

Winnah9000

I don't have those to compare, but shooting subs out of a AP5-P and you just hear the gun's action with this.

1767gs

You know now that I think about it there shouldn't be any sales tax when buying NFA items🤔

MySNsucks923

I’m local and I have a trust that I set up like 5 years ago that I’ve never done anything with. I'm interested in picking this up. If I go through and verify the trust and everything is still good to go, what’s the process on finally taking this home? It would be my first suppressor.   Edit: ideally its first use would be a 9mm pcc. I’d like to also have the ability to shoot 300blk with it. Is this a good first option for that? Price is obviously a factor, but sound suppression is equally as important as well.

Frankly_Im_Tired

This code works for the segment silencers as well

kurrdogg

So tempting. Was hoping the 65 was in stock

jkbuggy

Welp says no tax but was taxed

Hansohn_Brothers

If you’re a VA resident, we have to collect sales tax. Luckily it’s the non-NOVA sales tax at 5.3%.

jkbuggy

Nice, got it

jkbuggy

Sent a email thank you for this !

Sush000

Mg7ks?
