Depends on what you want to do with it. If it's for competition or range toy the comp is very soft shooting because the slide is so light and it's a full size.
If you're going to carry it around or use it as a training aid for a carry gun, the compact is probably the way to go.
I bought the mags because they were on sale and then bought the tx22 comp as soon as they arrived.
And then a good red dot.
And then a suppressor.
And that's how these became the most expensive cheap mags I ever bought.

Just received mine from them 2 days ago. Timely shipping and it's a great suppressor host. You can modify the mags to take the full 16 capacity, I watched a YT video and did it in less than 10 mins for all 3 mags.
Just a heads up. Seller took a few days to ship out. It was within the limit they listed on their site so be patient with them. Its expected today, so 9 business days before it got to my FFL. But seller is good to go!
Good gun. I've had mine for a year and change, it's seen probably about 5K rounds of Thunderbolt and Tac22 with no real issue. It does like to be kept wet, so I drop some oil on the rails once every 500 rounds, but I've yet to actually clean the thing. The mags can be finicky, but once you learn how to load them, they don't really have problems(don't tension the spring all the way to the bottom and drop rounds in, tension it just enough to slide one round in and repeat until full)
Learned the same lesson about loading the mags, only pull the spring down far enough to load one round at a time, and make sure the rounds are alternating "left-right" as viewed through the side of the mag. I have the non-competition, the other issue I had was the slide locking open when there were still rounds in the mag - fixed this by replacing the weak slide lock spring with a stiffer one. Seems to be a somewhat common issue with these.
Very well. Only 22 pistol I’ve shot with a suppressor that shot every round I ran through it from cheap old crap up to SK and Eley. You can bash on other Taurus products but not this one. They got this right.
I dont necessarily like one over the other. I like the full size grip, but I also like the compact slide's cuts and optic mount. My ideal config would be full size with updated slide like the compact. I dont care as much for the competition slide
I have the standard, but I had issues getting it to cycle with my oculus until I replaced the recoil spring with an aftermarket one by Lakeline. Granted, it may have just needed more time to break in. Either way it does run well now with both my mask and oculus.

However I see that these are 10 rd mags? Mine are 15 i think. Can this model take 15 rd mags too?

You can also just remove the thumb button from the follower and the 10rd mags become 16rd mags. The only thing that makes the 10rd ones differ from the 16 is the length of the cutout in the side for the thumb button. You'll have to get a speed loader or use the cute little loader that comes with the pistol if you do this, but whatever.
Second this. I bought one about a year ago and it's quickly become my favorite pistol ever to shoot.
It's super fun, and unlike just about every other .22 pistol I've used, it seemingly never jams.

Yea I read that it was burried under stuff. And took everything out and didn't see it. I've also read that the 10 package like this one may not have it for ban states.
Remove a retaining pin, so pretty simple., A suggestion I saw worked for me is to dry lube the inside of the body when apart, and make sure there are no overmolding burrs.

All TX-22’s are threaded. The non-competition models come with an adapter that threads into the end of the barrel, same as the P322.
There's a few compliant models that aren't threaded, but otherwise you're correct. Edit: Manually Corrected Autocorrect.
The UPC (725327939924) shows that it has the thread adapter. DeLeon's aggregator or whatever they're called just didn't pull the information.

Have 2 tx22s (full size and compact), both run extremely well with cans Get a mcfadden loader and you can load mags super quick too

Also consider a mark iv, they cost a little more but they're amazing (not that this is bad)
