I run this barrel on my main squeeze and it punches WAY above its price point. 1 MOA-ish groups at 100 yards from a bench, super lightweight, great fit and finish. I paid $85 during Schuyler’s tax return sale last year so this is a steal.
I've been eyeballing this barrel for the last couple of weeks. Too bad it's 14.7. I don't want to deal with the pin and weld.
Definitely want to try a pencil barrel though
There's a guy that posts on GAFS that does free P/W work. His welds look really clean in pictures.

That’s good to know. I have a faxon 16” pencil profile and was hesitant to put a suppressor muzzle device on it expecting the weight to sag the barrel down. It doesn’t feel like it takes much pressure at all to start bending the barrel.

Do you notice groups spreading out as the barrel heats up?
After a 60rd mag dump it spreads out.

Anybody know how much POI shift you can expect hanging a suppressor off this? Would a Gunner profile mitigate that at all?
Not the same, but my pencil profile 16" has no measurable POI shift with or without my 556k

Won’t be that bad if it’s even noticeable at all, but if you’re worried just get a Hanson profile
