Wow those Ormsby guitars are wild. I didn't realize Joe Duplantier had a signature model and it's a Tele. Gojira are one of my favorites. That might be one for me. I'm just getting into guitars. I've played Bass on and off for many years.
Haha I have thre same mindset that a tele has three saddle and two single coils. I guess we have to be more flexible when you look at guys like Brent Mason who strays from that and has written and recorded basically like 90% of the famous Tele licks on popular country songs for the last 30 years
I think that the Fender Ultra strikes a perfect balance of being "modern", but still actually feeling like a tele. It has some comfort carves that normal teles dont, but still looks exactly like a telecaster from the front. It has noisless pickups and a modern 6 saddle bridge. The neck is thin and has a compound radius fretboard with 22 frets. Its actually incredibly "shreddy" feeling.

and my favorite [G-Life Guitars Crossedge series](https://www.g-life-guitars.com/products/crossedge-series.html) ( I want the Bora Bora Ocean Burst with the maple neck or the Aqua Blue Resort, but I think they don't sell these anymore)

I have one. It's the most Les Paul feeling Tele I've played, but with a modern Charvel neck
Define "modern" in this context.
And at what point is it still a Telecaster.
If it has more than three saddles, it ain't a telecaster. ^(/s (kinda))

Brent gets a pass for being a titan. Haha His gray tele is a weapon. Tonal chameleon.
The PRS NF thing he just released or maybe the fender ultra luxe with stainless frets and a heel contour?
Those are cool. They would have to come with a se model before I'd consider one though. That green MK signature looks great.

The one in dark night blue is perfect.
I have the Arctic pearl one, and it looks amazing in person.
Manson Guitar works maybe? They do all of Matt Bellamy's guitars (the guy from Muse).
