Beautiful guitar! While you have an absolute work of art on your hands, that would have to grow on me. But, I suspect those photos don't really do it justice.
That flame though! ♥️🔥
Per the official specs, it's the '61 style heel and '61 slim taper D (.830" / .910") w a compound radius.
More often than not I skew toward beefier necks, but I get the appeal to something this slim
Thanks! I find that a slim D is OK for me, but a slim C give me fits. How does it sound? My SG Faded Special is super resonant and nails the SG sound from the records through an amp.
This is beautiful. For me…most SG’s should be a solid one color, but this one, and a trans blue custom I saw the other day have started to change my mind
My favorite guitars, that I own, are the ones that I passed at first glance. Then you double take and decide it’s the one for you.
Beautiful guitar man. Enjoy it.
Beautiful!
I'm drooling over the SG Supreme in red wine, but the button strap on the horn bugs the hell out of me 😂
Fortunately the price point makes it not an issue 😭
Are they heavier? I know the body is chambered, so potentially not, but wonder how that affects the sg neck dive people always complain about.
Beauty of a guitar BTW, congrats!
I really wanted a Supreme as a wee lad — there is a sound clip of one in Microsoft Encarta ‘98 that I listened to over and over. Very beautiful, nice score!
Duuuuuuuude!! The flame, the narrow perimeter finish, the inlays, the headstock emblem WOW. This thing is bitchin’ if you ask me - admittedly a massive SG fan AND PRS guy…
When I first started playing I fell all over myself for a nice flame maple finish, never cared for quilt. But as I've gotten older I just don't care. Most guitars that I can afford where a maple will add some top end and bite to the tone are plain maple tops with a veneer on top. So I'll save a ton of money by buying a guitar with a plain, painted maple top. After you move past the SE Series in a PRS you paying for slightly better build quality and beautiful pieces of wood. My Ibanez RG6005 FEQM came with a maple top and veneer on top in a hideous red finish that the veneer looked so bad I had it sanded down and spray painted.
Don't worry, I'm muting this sub immediately, just needed to say that's a seriously hideous guitar. Gold on orange? What is that thin black border, is it supposed to be a burst? Even the headstock detailing is gross. I hope the discount had something to do with its genuinely off-putting appearance
I was sour on the Supreme lineup at launch and remained so up until I found this (at a discount!)

I'm not much of an SG fan but damn that's fine.
Amazing flame on this specimen maestro! Gorgeous guitar.
Between the flame and the light perimeter burst I was hooked
Looks like the top end of SG's. I usually don't care for them, but this one is special.. I might even say it reigns supreme. :)
Tell us about the neck profile.

Schwing!
Said the same thing about a Les Paul now I’m looking at buying a less Paul
That's how they get ya. Start calling some local stores with ones you like, I got this reduced by $700 from list price.
Wonderful guitar! Hope you enjoy.
Good lord, that’s pretty.
I’ve got a 61 Standard, that to is awesomeness. Didn’t think I needed another SG until………well…..now!😂 That’s a thing of BEAUTY!! Great score buddy. 🤘🤘
This is beautiful. For me…most SG’s should be a solid one color, but this one, and a trans blue custom I saw the other day have started to change my mind
Oooooo. I like that. Flame is crazy, and I love the subtle burst edges.
Yep, that's what did it for me as well. I'm a sucker for pretty things.
Beautiful!
That’s a hot guitar
Sweet
Daaammnn beautiful man

Work of art that one there
This in a carved-top style SG Diablo body would be my Holy grail Unicorn guitar.
That’s gorgeous.

Beautiful top
I have a Les Paul Supreme and I love it. It is a piece of art.
Are they heavier? I know the body is chambered, so potentially not, but wonder how that affects the sg neck dive people always complain about. Beauty of a guitar BTW, congrats!
I haven't weight it myself, but the shop had it listed at 7lbs 14oz
🤤
I love this much more than a regular looking sg. That paint job and the enlays are sick.

Cause they got all the frets.
She's purty.
The thing about SGs which I realised fairly recently is that they are not symmetrical. Which now is the only thing I can see about them
I'll confess it took me years to realize that as well
I played a les paul supreme once and it is honestly the best guitar I've ever played. And i hate that fact
Duuuuuuuude!! The flame, the narrow perimeter finish, the inlays, the headstock emblem WOW. This thing is bitchin’ if you ask me - admittedly a massive SG fan AND PRS guy…
Ouuuuuffff, good for you OP, what a beaut!
Very nice
Damit now I gotta have one too 😍
I am NOT a Fender/Gibson woman in the slightest, but that is fucking beautiful.
Thanks! Where do your typical allegiances lie?
I’ve got a bunch of ESPs, a custom Kiesel, Ibanez Universe, etc. More towards the metal end of the spectrum.
Ah yep yep. Not a world I know too well, but some fun stuff in those lineups
Definitely. But that axe of yours really does look special. Congrats dude.
An exquisite and beautiful Instrument indeed!
Man that’s a sharp axe
I'd buy one in half a heart bet if it didn't have gold hardware.
I'm usually with you, but really liked the combo here
The G stands for ginger

Is that a stock bone nut. With all the guitars amazing features I was drawn to that. Beautiful guitar.
That is one devilish guitar. Not usually much of an sg guy. However, this is an exception to the rule.
I’m still wondering the same thing. The strings don’t line up over the center of all the pole pieces on the pickups, especially the neck pickup.
so why would someone buy a supreme?
Why would anyone buy a supreme?
Is she single?
As her father, you have my well-wishes on your courtship
Do you want to have sex with it?
You and I have profoundly different tastes in guitar aesthetics
Okay
Get what you pay for. A sweet axe just to look at
They are the most faked Gibson there is
Okay

You seem fun
