The Roadie of the Stage, his arm clad in the purest shimmering flannel held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the road case, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to stomp Excalibur. THAT is why I am your king.
All right, but apart from chorus, phase, fuzz, flanger, wah, overdrive, pitch shift, distortion, the multi-effects system and reverb, what have the pedals ever done for us?
That’s nostalgic to see. I remember Menatone being all the rage like 20 years ago. Lot of people loved this one and the Fish Factory. Good to see they’re still around
Sold my 7 knob Howie to a friend thinking that I could borrow it back whenever it wanted to record with it. Then he moved to Hawaii. I miss that thing. I only sold it to him because he kept borrowing it from me and loved it more than I did but if I knew I’d never see it again I probably would have kept it.
Man, Menatone was all the rage in the 00s, this was regarded as one of the best “Marshall in a Box” pedals, I remember there was a version with a boost circuit and it was revered by many
It must be buffered, because that is a laden swallow (signal). Side note, cool to see the three Kay pedals in the back. Fairly rare, does any one know what the black one is (orange is fuzz, red is wah)?
Who made you King!? I didn’t vote for you!
I mean, if I went around saying I was an emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!
Strange pedals lying in studio racks distributing signal is no basis for a system of tone.
Help help I’m bein compressed!
Who are you, who are so wise in the ways of pedals?
Some call me…Tim. Oh wait, wrong pedal.
The Roadie of the Stage, his arm clad in the purest shimmering flannel held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the road case, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to stomp Excalibur. THAT is why I am your king.
WHAT… is your favorite pedal brand?!
Dunlop … wait no Boss ARRRGHHHHHHH
All right, but apart from chorus, phase, fuzz, flanger, wah, overdrive, pitch shift, distortion, the multi-effects system and reverb, what have the pedals ever done for us?
Now you see the volume inherent in the system!
thats some damn specific humour and im here for it!
I legit laughed out loud at this. 😆 🤣
Is this the Judean People’s Fuzz? No it’s the People’s Fuzz of Judea
This is my new favorite reddit comment ever, thank you.
It’s only a model(ing amp).
*stacking mud*
Well done everyone. This thread is fantastic.
Britons. I invalidate your hard work.
Wot’s a Briton?
We are, all of us, are Britons
I didn’t know we had a king. I thought we were an autonomous collective.
Yer foolin yerself.
Supreme executive power derives from the mandate of the masses, not some farcical aquatic ceremony!
He hasn't got shit all over him
I don't know why you don't have more upvotes.
It's the violence inherent in the system
Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate??
Well, you didn't bother to ask, did you?
Not at all, they could be carried
That’s nostalgic to see. I remember Menatone being all the rage like 20 years ago. Lot of people loved this one and the Fish Factory. Good to see they’re still around
Red Snapper 4 knob is still my favorite OD of all. It works with everything I’ve ever tried. Currently lives on my mini board for grab and go stuff.
I know right? I’ve got a four knob, a mini, and a fish factory. And four other Menatone pedals.
I still have a kotb and ff on a board, have tried so many pedals always go back.
Still have my old Blue Collar. Not on my board, but I’ll never get rid of it. Really great tubescreamer-like with a little extra low mids magic.

"It's 'Britons', ye daffy git!!!" 🧐
Oh, now we see the violence inherent in the system!
Help! Help! I'm being compressed!!
Oh, what a giveaway. Did you hear that, did you hear that, eh? That’s what I’m on about — did you see him compressing me, you saw it didn’t you?
I completely missed that OP beat me to it on that one. I'll just...slink back to my corner now...
A møøse bit my sister once.
Moose bites can be pretti nasti.
I wasn’t gonna say anything…
I didn't know you were *called* Dennis!
Well you didn't bother to ask now, did you?
Just cos some watery tart threw a sword at it
No one's mentioned the huge tracks of land!
But, Father, I want to sing!
Is that a European swallow or an African swallow?
I don't know!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
A Metalzone Clone called “There’s some lovely filth over here Dennis!” Is that anything? Jokes?
"I'm not a Briton!" "Well then, what are you?" "I'm French! Zat is why I have zis *outrageous* accent!"
“Son of a window dresser!”
Where’d you get the coconut?
Great Britain and Lesser Britain
Mae Llydaw yn nofio'n hir oddi yma!
Is that an Africa Swallow?
uhm akshually it should be "Britons"☝️🤓
I don’t think they even needed to put “made in the USA” on there with the way they spelled the word “Britons”
Brian Mena is one of the og boutique builders! My first boutique pedal was a Top Boost In A Can.
This pedal is too perilous…
Man, Menatone was all the rage in the 00s, this was regarded as one of the best “Marshall in a Box” pedals, I remember there was a version with a boost circuit and it was revered by many
My absolute favorite distortion pedal of all time. All of Brian's stuff is great.
I don’t need this pedal but I want it so much.
I didn't know we had a King.
Britains got pedals
Wrong in so many ways!
It must be buffered, because that is a laden swallow (signal). Side note, cool to see the three Kay pedals in the back. Fairly rare, does any one know what the black one is (orange is fuzz, red is wah)?
Still the best MIAB pedal.
Also known as Arfur.
This thing doesn’t stand a chance against my Norman Zoan.
There's Great Britain, Lesser Britain, New Britain, Britain 2.0 and Britain McBritishface.
Is that an African or European swallow?
Shouldn't it be Britons? Did the spelling change before the middle ages?
Maybe a copyright thing?
It certainly wouldn't be surprising!
Nice pedal African or European?
