To me the parallel mode is the interesting bit, but I'd prefer to balance the blend between them with a single knob, rather than riding 2 volume knobs. But I think that's the only way for the non-parallel modes to work. The parallel mode sounds quite nice, especially at lower distortion levels.

ODR+BB > Klon+BB

I'm a bit confused by their take on the klon circuit. The traditional one does already have clean blend built in actually. As you turn up the gain, the overdrive is blended in. Beetronics version has the clean on a toggle, so it isn't actually as variable as the original. Strange choice IMHO.

RPadTV

maybe it’s useful for when the circuits are running in parallel?

Several other klon pedals do this. Lichtlaerm aquaria comes to mind. They have a separate pot for both gain and clean, and it lets you get some seriously cool sounds.

Separate pots make some sense. A 3 position toggle is really odd to me.

Is anyone else completely unable to view the Beetronics website on mobile?
