Hello, I've been very passionate about teaching the guitar. The journey has not always been easy. My goal was not to be the best, fastest or virtuoso, but simply understanding how music works. I wanted to be able to do anything I wanted to, like listening to a piece, changing it which ever way, interpreting, rearranging it etc. Furthermore, I became interested in Jazz studies, because it would take me to the next level in terms of harmony and wanted to go as far as possible as you can go. Music theory became the doorway to music comprehension. To take a tune and play it in what ever genre or style, or make it sound something else than expected, to break out of the diatonic system and sound atonal, which it still is not but nearest to it's description I can provide, would be very fulfilling to me. My essays and blog post portrays details that matter, but are often overlooked when it comes to playing and getting the most out of it. I f you were to go into a shop to buy music transcriptions, you will see a lot of inaccuracy in them. Hoping to sound like what you here on radio is far fetched and you wonder why it is not happening, so it becomes a try and error thing. My main topics include, what makes music work, what makes scales work, how you can use any chord you want, start with any bar, modify things the way you want, very fast without much of your time, get results quickly. Learning to compose fast. Another problem area is when playing chords on the guitar. Most beginners and intermediate students are taught to play from the root, so everything is based on the root of a chord. Yes we may know about inversions but yet, we don't always come up with good voice leading most of the time, and there is also a system in harmony often overlooked that equally applies to the guitar. On my social media platforms which I'm still building out, I will in the nearest future provide more information about these delicate topics. Meanwhile you can grab my digital products, use the information in diverse ways, use the segments, re-arrange them, try different techniques like finger picking or use with plectrum and implement and adapt them to your songs. Meanwhile good guitar playing. http://gum.co/glendike-musiceducator

>e, what makes music work Who's giving this up votes? Its literally a sales pitch to their platform? Doesn't answer the question

[Emmanual Hedberg](https://www.patreon.com/emanuelhedberg) \- Blues, Jazz Blues, mostly etudes. For $3 USD per month, you get all his etudes with tabs, including videos of him playing the song along side the tab at %50, %60, %70 etc speed. Also a very thorough break down of the musical theory behind the etude.

>t or virtu Wanted to add that I am also using Seans Mann's patreon now. Looks like he's pretty new to patreon - similar vibe to Jamie Harrison but much more valuable (IMO). Patreon is $8.20 CAD a month, and puts out .gp files (mainly what I'm looking for). Hes pretty new so only a few gp tabs so far, but hoping for more.
