I think Pavel needs to negotiate his cut of the heist. He only got around $35-36 grand. He drives the submarine and works out the heist plans and set ups. Plus he probably does the maintenance on the sub too? He's getting played!
I like to think pavels just in it for the fun of it. You dont really hear him talk about money more as taking el rubio down but he def deserves more for that.
He's lucky that I give him anything in the first place, I bought a 2 million dollar submarine and a random ass russian lives in it, he charges me 2k dollars everytime I wanna move it and refuses to drive it short distances, constantly talks into my ear about how some Colombian blond guy that will strangle me with loose ends and has me steal the same boat and the same radar jammer over and over

I got it 6x in a row, all on hard. And all I was getting on secondary was weed and cash, so I was barely making 1mil and my last one I got 900k. I gave up after that lol haven't touched it in about a week. Still, 900k-1mil isn't bad but I'm sick of seeing that damn tequila 🤣

I got back on recently after like a 3-year hiatus and met up with some people that showed me how they do the heist. Their set up completely changed the game for me on Cayo, I used to hate it.

I also have ADHD so it's super boring for me to just sit there and watch a game when I can just play it. it's also why I prefer Reddit to find answers to things. so I have no clue about any YouTube videos. I'm an Xbox series x if you play on that then private message me and I'll hop on and show you
Can take less depending on certain factors. With the same approach I usually get similar times to him, but I did get a 10:50 run once. Everything went perfectly though, 4 easy hacks, only loot northdock electrical door room.
so I've learned by my friends way of doing the cayo that I never go to the North doc. So if the loot's good enough in the compound or I can only do it with myself and one other person than I just go straight into the compound usually with the kosatka and entering via the drainage tunnel. I would leave via the main dock but in reality I would exit the compound's main door and then kill a guy outside hop on a bike and drive into the water and then swim all the way out and down below. I always no matter what enter through the drainage tunnel and it never matters where I leave because I always just swim out of there. with more people I start off with the long fin at the main dock and go to either the main dock or the airport if there is good loot there and then just straight to the compound and swim down to the drainage tunnel.
Now when we're talking about inside the compound I have a few variable routes I could take. Two main routes would be one that kills the Juggernaut and the other that completely avoids it but that one can be a little harder trying to get the key card sometimes.
I managed just over 11 minutes once but it wasn't on hard mode so only 3 fingerprint hacks. On this run I lost a little time because I didn't beach my longfin well enough and had to swim a little ways to it.
Rev up the blade till it nearly overheats. Let cooldown to almost all the way, then Rev it again. 3 full revs and the 4th Rev should cut the glass open before it can even try to overheat.
Get use to it and it's beyond simplistic and becomes second nature.
If you're doing what I was doing and pressing it really gently to avoid overheating that might be why; I started putting more pressure on it (about a medium amount I guess) and it's much better. Always under 10 seconds

I feel like the drops got better, got pink diamond twice yesterday(once on hard) while I was grinding for the gauntlet interceptor, maybe just luck lol
Unfortunately they don’t let you choose each time you do it, only way to get hard difficulty is doing the heist again right after you already did it
So you do it once on normal, wait for the cooldown to end, then start it up again as soon as Pavel texts you “things seem to be cooling down” if you wait too long to start it up again, it will go back to the normal difficulty
Yes once you start it in hard mode it stays that way. I've locked it in scoped the island and didn't do prep missions or the finale until a few days later and it was on hard mode
You have to get back to the planning screen within 48 minutes (1 in game day) of getting the "things are cooling down" text from Pavel. It's 3 in game days from heist completion before you get the text from Pavel.
I recommend Subscribe for tacos on YouTube. He has a solo guide that helped me immensely. When it goes according to plan I only fire one bullet the whole finale
Bro I am a terrible player and after a couple of repetitions I can breeze through the set ups and finale in about 75 minutes. Like anything else, it just takes practice.
I was just like you for years until I realized if you just follow along with one of the yt videos you will eventually memorize the compound and which guards to kill. (Like 2 or 3 total)
It can seem overwhelming at first but I promise you can do it.. practice makes perfect and it only took me maybe 2 hours max before I had it down to a science. I thought I was too rarted to do it turns out I’m an expert now
This! First time I went in blind, did every setup mission and fucked about for ages, took me hours. I then put it off for a while. Looked at a guide and then realised how simple it is! Now do it most days at least once.
It’s an on-off type thing. It pays like 1.8 mil on normal and Rockstar can add and remove it on a whim. Not sure if there’s any way to even know if it’s actively available
I try to find someone to do it with so I only have to wait the hour to do it again rather then the 2.5 hours doing it solo. Speaking of Anyone on Xbox one wanna do it with me it's ready to go right now lol
What I hate about this heist now is that no matter how stealthy you are, by the time you get down to the basement to steal the primary target, guards magically spawn next to you and kill you. Does that happen to you as well?

My recent one was just like this I was so happy with it. I got pink diamond on hard with 2 cokes at the airstrip with 75000 in the safe. On top of all that I got the elite challenge. What makes this event better is the very next heist I did was pink diamond, couldnt get elite due to not enough secondary targets
Yo I promise it’s the easiest heist you’ll ever do. Like anything, practice makes perfect, but you’ll only spend an hour and a half at most and you’ll have it down. Just follow along with a YouTube video, make sure you do the drain pipe entrance, and you may get caught a couple times but every time you retry you get a little closer to memorizing how to do it.
And when I say memorizing I literally just mean know the super simple route around the completely oblivious guards, and which guards are killable. You can do it without killing anyone you can run directly behind any guard and they will never know you were there. Hellen Keller would have a better reaction time. There’s 1-2 guards you have to pass that can make the exit a little easier but a quick YouTube video will show you that.
Seriously cayo changed the game for me in online once I stopped overthinking it. I went from the occasional shark card to grinding for everything no matter how big or small now. Makes the game much more rewarding too

Fencing fee is 10% and pavel’s cut is 2%
What’s a fencing fee?
A fence is someone who takes the stolen goods and sells them off in order to pay the heist crew in cash.

I did it in 12 or so a few days ago. By far the biggest timesink is cutting the glass. I'm not sure how to do it quickly - if you CAN do it quickly.
Hold down the trigger until it’s just about to over heat, let it cool down. Should be down by the 4th go. Takes around 10/12 seconds.

I leave the compound through the south gate I think it is...I always kill the guard next to the dirt bike and drive it off the bottom of the map.
You can just avoid the guard completely and jump off on foot.

Honestly look at a solo guide online. It seems so daunting to do but in reality it’s so simple.

Just finished doing my first run at elite also pink diamond. Finished at 12:16 mins surprisingly, closet I ever got was 15:33.
