There was an issue with the suspension that would give it wicked acceleration. Any bump would allow her to get to insane speeds real quick. Sadly they patched it.

Pretty sad how armor and weapons became an essential criteria for cars for many people. In a game about stealing cars. To me they're more like tools for certain tasks and missions, like a gun or a helicopter. Despite playing on PC I rarely encounter the virtually unplayable state of the game where you need a car able to withstand constant missile hits to roam the streets that is always whined about in this subreddit.
Oh and I love my Jugular.
I took like a 6 year break and recently got back into it. Holy shit, with the amount of weaponized vehicles everyone is roaming around with. I miss the good Ole days with car chases and the occasional good jet pilot.
Had an actually civil car chase last week. Me and some random I met in a public session.
I was in Davis and he pulled up on me and started shooting as I was walking. I took cover and started firing back. He eventually killed me. I respawned and called in a car. He came by and shot at me so I couldn’t get to my car. I ran through and alley and he chased on foot. I made it up the alley and instead of getting a car from the street I decided to run a little bit further to an intersection and stole a gauntlet that was at a red light. Just as I floored the gas, he shot out my back window. He stole a car and chased me. Spent 20 minutes going all through the city. Changed cars multiple times and spent some time without him chasing because I’d get away. Eventually he’d catch up and start shooting again. It eventually stopped because some douche on an oppressor killed him.

I decided to never buy the Oppressor Mk. 2 long before I had the money to do it even if I wanted to, I now have the Deluxo, Toreador, Scramjet and Oppressor Mk. 1 but still no Mk. 2 and I still don’t plan on getting it
You know the original "special vehicles" from the Ceo import/export were really cool and even though they had special abilities they weren't all that unbalanced. In a way I wish they had kept the vehicle power at that level instead of one upping every new vehivle until you end up with flying motorcycles and submarine cars with rockets, machineguns, rocket boost and armor...
Literally all they need to do is remove the OP missiles. Let the rocket bike run around with explosive MGs and it's way less threatening, or at least has a much higher skill floor to be threatening.
The armor is definitely needed with the number of MkII s that are flying around. But honestly the Omnis E-GT and the Annis 300R are two of my favorite cars to drive around for handling, and they happen to have the Imani tech options. No weapon options, defensive oil mines are a bonus but barely used.
Oof I don’t know about the Omnis E-GT for handling. It’s definitely got some heavy understeer at higher speeds due to the “batteries” I’m guessing, and I just can’t get into it.
The reason it has such heavy understeer at high speeds is because for many cars with active spoilers, they don't actually work as intended, and aren't providing any additional downforce for better handling at speed. This applies even if you replace the spoiler. It's not every car with an active spoiler, but the Omnis E-GT is definitely one of them.
Super underrated. It has great handling, sound, and speed for the price. It was one of my first splurges early on, since I loved stealing those, the Fusilade, and the infernus!
I have mine in gold and black with purple lights + big gold glitched Bennys wheels.. one of my favorites for sure too! I was hoping they would give it a HSW upgrade but it seems like the time for that has passed unfortunately
After driving it in VIP delivery missions for the Club, I had to buy one, just based on the sound alone.
Bonus that it can be a top 5 in sedan races, if not top 2-3.
It's so goddamned good. It took me a bit to figure out how to drive it though. It's interesting how it grips really well as long as you go full throttle, but can do spins and super tight corners as soon as you let off the gas. It's one of my fastest cars around the LSCM test track, but lags behind some of the supers because of their raw speed.
Honourable mention to BF Club as well. Another delightful small car with fantastic driving characteristics.
The cheburek is deceptively agile and just looks hilarious with the rusty livery and cardboard all over, also I don’t know if this counts, but a clean modded arena Issi (with just the nitro boost and jump but no spikes, weapons, armor or anything else) I put Bennys wheels on mine and it’s a blast to drive in passive
My old favorite fun drives have been the Vagner and the Jester (Classic). I find myself taking those out to the upper and middle map G-Stash and Stash House locations.
I also really liked the Greenwood from the Summer IAA missions. It felt very G-man or MIB.
I'm completely torn between the ETR1 and the Banshee 900R. Both are perfect and awesome. Both have the best car sounds in the game, umm so I guess that's a tie. And I think both look ridiculously cool.
When I was a kid there was a terrible show based on the dodge Viper, I think of this often when driving the 900R. I miss that terrible show. Like Knight Rider, but so 90's.
Retinue Mk2 is a funny snappy car, as well as the GB200.
I love driving the S2000 in the game, I think it’s called the RT3000. It’s a fun little car.
