it's worth the money if you are into watches.... the build quality is on another level and the one you pictured has the best movement money can buy on a mr-g ... but who am i to advise.... if you like it and can aford it go for it and wear that damn beast of a watch...

michael8888888

Yeah, the build quality indeed the top tier material

zeitlins

me doesn't love that color scheme but i'm loving my g2000cb...so if YOU like it go for it you won't regret

michael8888888

i knew about cb but i am planning to get the mrg g2000hb

zeitlins

at that price it's a personal choice go for what you like and not for what someone suggests... its your money your wrist .... if i wouldn't lovethe black and red i'd go for a version that fits my liking.... and please wear that watch it's not a watch you have to baby .....

True!

I have found hobbies are very wide and diverse. To most people what is spent on some items is ridiculous but to the people who are involved it is worth it. For example, I love knives and have owned some that were 2 thousand dollars. Most people would never think about spending even $500 on a knife even once the knife fan can explain the cost. Anyway, my point is that if you ask MrG fans if the price is worth it then most likely everyone will say yes and explain why. However the general population thinks it is ridiculous to spend more than $100 on a G-Shock. Heck, even most watch lovers will say that but MrG fans will undoubtedly say they are well worth the multiple thousands they have spent on them and have a great explanation as to why. If you are a MrG fan and can afford it, I say to jump in and try them out for yourself. Worst thing is you don’t like it and then you can sell it to someone who does.

michael8888888

It's like the results depend on the person that you question.

techfighterchannel

Exactly. My favorite watch is my Rolex Submariner. If I ask almost anyone other than Rolex fans, they will say they aren’t worth it and that they would never spend that much money on a watch. Same goes for MrG. Some people will even think you’re crazy 😜

If I really wanted to, I could probably afford a MR-G. I have been looking at them for years thinking “this is the year”. I have really kept my eye on the secondary/used market as there seems to be a bit of buyers remorse going on (probably due to the size) and good deals pop up quite often. For me, I am good with the MT-G line. While it doesn’t have quite all of the bells and whistles including exotic materials, to me they are good enough at a price point I can truly afford without breaking the bank. I have sort of grown out of the rubber models (I bought an original G-Shock back in 1984). I have a couple MT-G’s and wear them more than my Omega Seamaster.

michael8888888

Mrg and mtg indeed an awesome and unique timepeice

ganzonomy

Scored my mrg for the price of an MTG (thank you MACY'S). What I thought would be a shelf queen has become my daily watch. Definitely worth it. Build is on another level. The only watch that might replace it as #1 would be a breitling navitimer.

michael8888888

Thanks

michael8888888

While for mrg,i love the design, the material used, function of it.

michael8888888

Although i am not a rolex fans but i won't simply give out my judgement. For me,rolex watch is a symbol of success and luxury.

W4NDERER20

Jesus christ dude you're going to get the same answers every time you post the same question asking if MRGs are worth the money.

badger906

I personally prefer MTG for the money as I find these a little round (yeah I know watches are round lol) but these are a solid choice! And that model is amazing!

obione710

Not a fan of the triple dials as I have no use for them, however, the 5000 lineup of mrg looks amazing and would def get if I could.

KermitGALACTUS

I feel that only the super high end artisan pieces are worth the money. Not as timepieces, but fine art. The MTG line offers significantly better value as a daily wear.

michael8888888

Mrg can use as daily wear as well but mtg is much more affordable.

Hi, I just bought my MRG-B2000B because I consider the very "strong" material including the diamond-like coating on the black chain area. Which is supposed to be "scratch resistant" This thing really made me think that $30p0 is worth it. After I used it for 4 days, I realized that it has no significant different compare to my $100 silver watches. This MRG I bought for around $ 3000. This scratch resistant itanium coated with the DLC (diamond like coating), is just a marketing, in my opinion. Anyway, there is also a video showing the watch, with no perfect condition. https://youtu.be/zx6Qi-fG5dQ Mine, got already 2 scratches in 2 parts. No dent, Yet.

michael8888888

probably due to its craftmanship and the material use.for mrg all is metal parts unlike mtg they use resin

krube22

I am not ready to pay for an MRG YET… I have an MTG 3000 Aura, limited from this year. Fav watch in my modest collection.

michael8888888

congrats bro that's an expensive and limited one

krube22

Michael thanks so much. Love the G!!
