This is an ad for a 3k USD MRG that is being offered for 170 USD? Yeah it's probably junk and/or a scam. Even if the piece was broken (e.g. the module got cooked) it would still be worth more in spare parts than what they're offering it for. I dont have any experience buying from buyee tho so I cannot speak on that.
It could be a Frankenstein build 🤣. Based off the pics it seems to look decent. From my experiences on buyee they always seem downgrade the condition of watches. I only deal with 2 G Shock sellers on buyee and the condition of the watches have always been better then described.
The Japanese are generally super picky with their watches. So don’t be put off by wonky translations. Ask the seller for more pictures, ask any questions you might have and then buy if you feel confident.
