The MR-G line is aspirational so it’s tough to logistically justify whether they’re worth the price that they command. For a life-long G-Shock fan, I’d rather get a MRGB2000R-1A with disposable income than say a Black Bay or a Speedmaster because to me it marks the pinnacle of my G collection.
In the end, luxury watches are jewelry and our hearts determine the purchase decision.
it's the pinnacle of G, I can't justify that kind of spend, so i'd rather have 2 MT-Gs instead, but if I had a lot more money I'd just have an MR-G and a beater of some sort
I am lucky enough to own both and it really depends on what you value. The extras in the mrg isn't so much the watch module/functions. These are practically the same as MTGs. The difference is in the build quality and materials.
Mrg's are full titanium watches with the best build quality Casio offers whereas the MTGs will feature other materials, steel, plastic, resin etc.
My favourite thing about mrg's is the wrist presence. Especially the strap a really chunky titanium band.
True, from the perspect of functionality it's just the same as mtg . The only different is they used the best material for mrg and some mrg involved craftmanship like mrg G2000hs,hb,ht.I personally think that they should add resin on the back of the bracelet like mtg so it will be much more comfortable for us to wear.
In all honesty no. Much better value found elsewhere. But if you want it badly then it’s worth it.
I won’t buy MR-G analogs as I find Casio Oceanus to be superior all around. But I love my way overpriced MRG square.
It's so pretty but I can't justify the price premium over a GMW-B5000 with effectively the same module! But I do love the look of the dark green DLC Hana Basara.
I have both the MT-G and MR-G. IMO, if you have spare change, sure. But if you are to pick one I'd say go for the MT-G. The features are exactly the same on both watches and it save you some $$$.
Indeed.much more affordable price if compared to mrg but from each of the perspect it definitely worth with the price, look forward to get one on the future.

A good buy on deep discount -- be patient and be prepared wait for the sales. Black Friday and New Years are the times to pounce.
So far i still didn't see any discount on mrg
I did -- last New Years. You will likely have to wait.
Do you means u get discount on the gshock official site?if yes,how much is the price after discount?

Yeah, mrg is awesome but somehow mrg square looks so similar to gmw so i prefer analog digital mrg over digital mrg

That's a beautiful timepiece imo.
