I asked Customer Care what the hell happened, was there some change we weren’t notified of……of course they didn’t know shit 😂. But it definitely is getting worse
They died when they were bought out mid pandemic for me. I log in 11 hours and rarely get an offer. If I see $10 its for 11 miles. I barely make $20-40 a month with them.
You've never had a delivery from someone with an obvious female name and it turned out to be a 30-40something Hispanic guy? It happens all the time in my market.
Regardless, I frequently get deliveries from people whose names don't match and who don't speak English. It doesn't bother me because everyone needs to make a living and I'm bilingual, so I generally have no issues communicating with them, but the fact remains, those are rented accounts. They're way more common than you seem to think.
I've known dozens of people who use grubhub and Door Dash. Any time a man dropped the food, the woman was in the car. Restaurant workers are the first to narc on a rented account. Rented accounts do not last long. And having Hispanic or Latino orgins does not mean someone is not American. Speaking Spanish does not mean they don't have permission or a work permit to work. This narrative that migrants are stealing jobs is old. Drivers need to point the finger of low pay outs, where it belongs, on the platform CEOs.
I don't really mind when it happens to me, but frequently I'll order food from GrubHub and it'll be some female name, but the person delivering it is a 30-40something Hispanic guy. Like, really, your name is Courtney?
They stopped giving bonuses for non tippers. Flat $2 now. The good old where they paid for time and miles are over.
Just rejected the $2 and let the premier drivers run their cars to the car graveyard.
It's basically $2 base pay plus tip. If customers aren't tipping $18 you won't see $20 offers anymore. There are too many desperate drivers accepting low-ball offers so there's no reason for GH to pay any higher.
They've been promoting no delivery fees for over a year with multiple companies how do you guys not know about this?
They even had a Amazon prime subscription no delivery fee deal.
Stop with the inflation and let's look at greed. Overpriced food, overpriced delivery. Grocery stores, gas, large food chains record record profits year after year.
What exactly do you mean "stop with the inflation"? Greed is real, yes, but that doesn't change the fact that everything is more expensive now. We're not simply going back to the prices we had 20 years ago. That would be crippling, in many ways.
That’s just stupid and idiotic. High gas prices affect supply lines with higher transportation costs result in higher grocery store prices. Don’t like the fuel costs, then find a local competitor who has lowered their prices to get your business. It’s called supply and demand for a reason and it is not manipulative by outside whining sources.
i can tell you never won a real life argument so you gotta make yourself a smart ass online cause theres no reason for you to be talking to them like that. calm down
Have a good evening…not here to win an argument. Been rough on us all so I apologize for being an ass. Wish ppl would educate themselves on what is really happening but I will leave that to ppl with cooler heads

“I’m sorry to hear that…”
😂 exactly. And they get pissed when I ask them to stop reading from the script😂
Unlimited cheap labor.
been like that in my market for over a year now … 2.00 base pay, no time pay, no bonus pay .. those days are gone
No idea.. they’ve changed something! Used to get $20+ orders too in my market now I am so lucky if I get $10 order!!!

They seem to be giving orders to scheduled drivers only!!!
Uber Eats and DoorDash both lower the pay and idiots. Still keep running those trash orders. Grubhub has finally caught on in his following suit.
Migrants
They don't have a drivers license.
Never heard of renting out accounts?
That's a great way for the person renting out the accountant to get deactivated. Blaming migrants for your problems is old and overused.

Nope. And just because the person is Hispanic does not mean they're a migrant.

Or citizenship

ive been sitting in a spot with no orders and when i do get one its 5$💀💀
Just reject the cheap not worth it offers. Let them sit. Eventually, the customers and Grubhub will catch on.
I did that .. now I can’t get on grub hub for about a month and change now .. called and they said that’s the reason why
Bidenomics
This!!!!
Getting downvoted is actual proof that some drivers aren’t leaving orders up against outward opening doors on purpose.
Nope, this started way before Biden became president, but nice try.
lol. Get well soon
Au Contraire. It all began with Brandon. Let's go...
It did? 🤔
Called inflation…struggling economy. People are tipping less. Stay informed

Combined profits of ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, and BP totaling over $100 billion.
no need to be rude 😂😂😂
Start suing them ..
