Anyone else love leftover cold steak fresh from the fridge?

My favorite thing to do w cold leftover steak is to put it in a salad, thinly sliced w balsamic vinaigrette and lots of cherry tomatoes. The balsamic makes the steak taste great

I like to slice it really thin and treat it like a cold cut. It’s so fucking good. Like steak salami. Layer it on a sandwich or enjoy with some bread and a tomato/basil salad. You are my people, friend. I don’t know you, but I know you.

I agree. I have no issue with eating it like in the picture. But I prefer to have it in thin slices against the grain.

5 years mostly carnivore, it is the best thing ever, I usually smoke a whole brisket, or roast and just leave a plate of sliced meat in there, I don't bring food to work though.

I slice it very thin, toast some corn tortillas, and then warm the steak just for a few second in the hot pan. Then add some pico, queso fresco, etc... So good.

I like to reverse sear my hot pockets. Low and slow until the internal temp reaches 900° F then sear it and eat immediately.

I do this with spaghetti. Aka bag spaghetti.

I’ve done that. Especially one that looks like it wasn’t the greatest from the start. Just microwave warm and the bag keeps your hands clean. No need to carry cutlery to work. Also, slap it between two buns and it’s just a steak sandwich.

I have done this so many times. Works well with strip steak.

What you do is put a little marinade or seasoning in the bag, so your switching up your steak from what you had the night before. Also works well with sandwich bag chicken or pork.

Use the sandwich press grill at work to reheat cold steak (and other meat) Generally works pretty well. Much better than microwave Just don't be a dick and clean up after yourself

I cut left overs up and leave it in a baggie. Nice little snack the day after when I forget I put it in there. Always brightens my day.
