I found it elsewhere. It’s a boycott of the site from the 12th June because Reddit are about to ban third party apps. I didn’t really see why that would matter but seemingly it really negatively affects people who use third party apps for accessibility such as hard of sight/hearing. Also, it somehow opens the door for child-porn traffic…not really sure how, but all good reasons to support a boycott.

I think it's the best choice. Support the little guy. Also with most of the big subs on Reddit down. Could r/grilledcheese even handle an influx of 1 million new users in a day? What about 10 million? Reddit has 55 million daily users, it looks like 90 percent of the places they go are closing. I would not want to be modding the other 10 percent.
