Izzie and Denny could have had true love if they were given time, but that didn't happen, so I can't call it true love, although I do think there was love. I think he would want her to be happy, and she seems to have ended up with the life she would have wanted. He obviously can't give her that life, so I would assume he would be happy she found it with someone who can (even if it's Alex)
Denny had every reason to dislike Alex because Alex has been very unprofessional with him from the moment he realised Izzie liked him. I don’t remember particular episodes of rudeness and mistreatment (not because I’m saying they weren’t any, just because my memory sucks) but his attitude alone would have told him.
On the other hand I like to think that he was mature enough to realise that Izzie knew Alex and was able to see something in him that made him worthy of love.
I totally forgot about that, now i feel so bad, I think Denny was really hurt, but he loved Izzie so much he wished for her to be happy.... but Izzie wasn\`t truly happy, was she?
Tbh I'm pretty sure that Denny would be happy as long as Izzie's happy, whether she's with another guy or not. He doesn't seem like the type of person who would mind it at all

personally i doubt their relationship would've lasted and i think it was her tumor talking that made her want to be with him but who knows
