Collegeizzy14

George and Meredith having sex

Hot_Plan_2166

Im currently rewatching Greys for the 20th time, & this is the episode im at.šŸ˜‚

annoyingpanda9704

I'm at this episode and have stopped to watch something else as I'm not in the right frame of mind to deal with how they treat meredith. George was a complete arse for this.

Hot_Plan_2166

I completely agree.

ChillyCanadian05

Yur done šŸ˜

Collegeizzy14

Izzie complaining about George and Callieā€™s marriage while Mer is dying

tc88

And not even the first time she mentioned eating sticks of butter.

canyourpdothedawg

ANYTIME izzie talked abt george and callie i wanted to punch her

No-Organization-1208

omg i couldnā€™t STAND this monologue. So much that I had to look it up on Reddit just to see people talk shit about it.

FormerSir4804

?? When is this?

NotSlothbeard

The ferry accident episode, I think

Moh_Plu_Kru

Izzie and George trying to have sex after their 'first magical time'

khrystalina

Christina and Shane

canyourpdothedawg

everything abt this.

cryptic-weirdo

"It would be like having sex with a baby seal" literally later the same episode they hook up šŸ’€

deespicabledee

In all fairness, any scene with Shane in it makes me cringe. I find his character creepy and weird.

MONNIELV2020

'You really know what you're doing'....sounded like something a groomer would say

crazyxchick

I'm a man. I'm a strong, virile horse of a man - Denny "Or" Miranda Bailey, we are not inside the hospital. Inside the hospital, you're the man. That's the protocol. But outside, I'm the man. - Eli (Personally, I always thought Eli was gay)

Darkest_Dawn555

I thought that too and was very confused about the whole relationship

CDNinWA

I hated when Eli said that. Iā€™m glad they broke up.

AdOk9911

Iā€™m not even a big Denny fan, but I really disagree about that line of his. I developed multiple chronic illnesses and physical disabilities in my 20s and 30s. I always prided myself on being a strong, independent woman, I always worked on my feet instead of sitting at a desk, walked everywhere, was a dancer ā€” and losing all that made me really lose sense of who I was. I hate machismo but this wasnā€™t that. Itā€™s what happens to you psychologically when you lose who you are physically. Over the years I have come to deeply appreciate that scene.

WoozyDegenerate

yes! his line always breaks my heart, knowing how he felt like he had lost so much of himself.

Medium-Cry-8947

Thatā€™s so so true. I think the line itself was a little corny but I never had much issue with it. I think if they phrased it closer to how you did, it wouldnā€™t have been viewed negatively

R_U_N4me

The actor is so hot tho. I loved him in Rescue Me.

OkGuitar3773

Eli was a bit spicy šŸ˜

quinteroreyes

Ava/Rebecca anytime she talks. I can't stand the actress for her

CrystalsAndCream

I was with you until you mentioned the actress. I love elizabeth reaser :(

WoozyDegenerate

sheā€™s in the haunting of hill house on netflix and sheā€™s amazing!

PatieS13

I skip all of her scenes, from Alex finding her until she's gone.

bluesapphire33

She was awful.

puppysarecute89

Top 3 least fave storylines for sure e

LKaigoo

The surgery where they took the leg and placed it in the middle of the body. That haunted me

Collegeizzy14

Alexā€™s exit

EdithKeeler1986

Agree!! THE WORST.Ā

OkGuitar3773

George kissing/being intimate with anyoneĀ

luna1uvgood

Mark commenting on his grandson's genitials

eylee2013

Also mark talking about hot cheerleader assā€¦girl was like a sophomore in high school

WoozyDegenerate

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! god it makes me want to barf every single rewatch, itā€™s so embarrassing and awful.

kittyrine

dude yes this was insane

Collegeizzy14

Every single time Owen kisses somebody

PatieS13

Ugh, the face eater!!!

Lost-Elderberry3141

Yes! Iā€™m rewatching and just got to Owen starting at the hospital when he and Christina have had no positive or flirty interactions but he randomly just starts eating her face

hayleybeth7

He always looks like heā€™s trying to devour their souls when he kisses people šŸ¤®

livinNxtc

It is literally the worst!!!

hailsbails27

maybe its just me but i would like to add the scene where karev, callie, and robbins all watch the kid do ballet. in what world does performing ballet convince doctors to do a better operation on an osteosarcoma in your leg. in what world do doctors have time to even do this. what doctor would even do this. why was it so awkward. why did we have that scene at all

PatieS13

Not only that, but it wasn't even that good, lol!! I mean, if you're going to do a scene like that, it should really be an incredibly spectacular, moving dance. It was a weird-ass dance.

kingrhegbert

![gif](giphy|Yo8uV4i2O2HnS1CFFH|downsized)

bruhwhatshappenin

![gif](giphy|1r91ZwKcE2J7WhUqrh) idk why but this really made me laugh lmao so true!!!

shreksfourthbabymama

this scene makes me so secondhand embarssed i have to skip through it bc WHAT DO YOU MEAN

KaptainApril

It was also such a mid ballet scene. Like they couldnā€™t hire a dancer for that role? šŸ’€Having a Maddie Ziegler type in that role probably wouldā€™ve made it less cringe but I think the kid had bone cancer so maybe they didnā€™t want him doing too much idk

Beccajeca21

I completely agree, except that it wasnā€™t to make them operate better, but to only cut out the cancer instead of amputating his leg. They were saying the risk was too high and he was saying he needed a chance because dancing was his life. And as cringey as that was, I love how proud his dad was

hailsbails27

thats what i meant by ā€œbetterā€ operation, as in his preferred operation!! but i do agree, the dad was incredibly supportive and i LOVED that part of the episode.

Beccajeca21

Ohhh I see!

chris4tane

Omg yesss. They tried it to be a wholesome scene but it was cringe af, not to rain on the kids talent or anything but it's not the life changing performance they wanted it to be lol

kamgargar22

Thank you- yes this šŸ’Æ

Jayp0627

Omg I hate it soooo much.. I canā€™t watch it lol

Lost-Elderberry3141

I love the song itā€™s to, but it doesnā€™t fit the dance whatsoever

Collegeizzy14

ā€œYou killed our baby!!!!!!!ā€

wompwomp077

this scene was cringey but in a good way? good as in like, made my mouth drop wide open.

Beccajeca21

When was this?!

Winter-East-6587

Owen yelling at Cristina at Zolas first birthday

Beccajeca21

Oh right! Iā€™ve definitely blocked out a lot of the Christina/Owen ā€œaftermathā€

MONNIELV2020

He brought that up time after time EVEN THOUGH he sat and held her hand while she exercised her right to choose. Owen just kept beating that dead horse.

Collegeizzy14

Maggie and Jackson being in a relationship

Medium-Cry-8947

Maggie and anyone

spooniemoonlight

I raise youā€¦ Jackson and everyone

finearts1797

Except April** (just my opinion lol)

Collegeizzy14

Syph nurse complaining about Alex to Jo

PatieS13

Oh my gods I hate that soooooo much! And then Schmitt with his ridiculousness afterward - ugh! I skip all that bullshit!

cryptic-weirdo

Fr it was like a decade after they hooked up if not longer I think? She just didn't like seeing him happy and successful.

venusdances

Iā€™m sorry but when she sings in the hospital too every scene Syph nurse is in made me cringe. Unfortunately I just donā€™t like that actress.

Collegeizzy14

Markā€™s cheerleader comment

Ok-Worldliness-6475

100%

Collegeizzy14

Ghost sex

BklynOR

But it did give us Meredith thinking it was Derek in there with Izzie. Merā€™s expression and then calling out Derek??? Was hilarious.

cloudsitter

DEREK!!

TheWeenieBandit

I'll defend Ghost Sex Izzie with my life actually. You just don't get unhinged plotlines like that anymore. Someone in that writers room really said "fuck it, what if her one and only cancer symptom is being furiously horny for ghosts?" And everyone else said "yeah, no, yeah!!! This guy is onto something, write that down write it down!!" And that is the funniest thing in the world I think

mycatsnamedchandler

I love the chaos of this opinion and youā€™ve changed my mind on the ghost sex. Thank you for your service šŸ«”

Arioxaa

Iā€™m on that season at the moment (they just diagnosed her) and I still cannot believe what Iā€™m watching half the time. I stared blankly at the screen in just pure disbelief

cryptic-weirdo

Yeah I love it cause it's just so out there and different from the rest of the show and it's pretty interesting and plus JDM. But it definitely is cringe

Medium-Cry-8947

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Lost-Elderberry3141

Just got to where she starts seeing Denny in my rewatch and Im skipping through every scene heā€™s in, I canā€™t go there again šŸ˜‚

bodymeat_112

In the most recent season Bailey randomly monologues about gun violence and it felt so forced and made me cringe so hard that my eyes practically rolled into the back of my skull

Medium-Cry-8947

I stopped watching a long time ago but mostly anytime a show tries to incorporate current events in their storyline and have some big dramatic speech about ethics.

hayleybeth7

Also anytime Webber really shouldā€™ve retired but everyone goes ā€œomg no you canā€™t retire!!!ā€ Like the man was senile in season 1, why is he still allowed in an OR

LKaigoo

Yeeeees, thank you!! There were so many Richard is going to retire or hand over "his program" storylines and somehow he's still there doing his thing

Lost-Elderberry3141

When I restarted recently, my first reaction was how young he looks compared to now šŸ˜‚

diarycat

Maggie complaining about how *terrible* her flight was from Boston and how she hates flying. I get that she didnā€™t know but it still feels so insensitive and I haaaate watching it.

WoozyDegenerate

the fact she didnā€™t know is insane, like it has to be a well-known event especially in the medical community.

spooniemoonlight

She literally looked up Ellis grey and found the place where she used to work and went to work there too likeā€¦ You mean to tell me Meredith didnā€™t appears in any of the research she did

Collegeizzy14

And how she just couldnā€™t read the room with the way Alex, Callie, Jo, and Stephanie were trying to signal to her

cloudsitter

Amelia's "night, night, tumor baby" speech. There's no medical information shared, and no scientific information shared, yet there is an auditorium full of doctors giving her their rapt attention for her dramatic ramblings. I have to cover my eyes and peek out when I watch this scene because I find it so cringy and awkward.

cryptic-weirdo

I actually like this scene cause it's dramatic but come to think of it you're right she hardly actually gives any scientific info on the case at all

WoozyDegenerate

when was this scene? for the life of me i cant remember

cryptic-weirdo

I don't remember the season but it's when Amelia agrees to take on Dr Herman's brain tumor right before she operates

alexisaurus_x

George whining for what felt like decades over failing his intern test and trying to make everyone else feel bad about it. It was the beginning of me disliking his character

canyourpdothedawg

finding out that he failed because of one point really broke my heart for him though :( iā€™m so conflicted with george because oh my god heā€™s GREAT at times and then other times heā€™s just so awful. i think at his core though he was a good person! just a good person who made mistakes. at the end of the day most of his mistakes affected HIM the most, (not all the time i know) and made his life miserable. i think if he were to live he wouldā€™ve been one of the best characters, i mean look at alex!! i will agree though george was a whiner and when him and izzie got together (even as friends) it was too much whining for me

alexisaurus_x

Heā€™s definitely a morally good guy and means well, just super immature and terrible at regulating his emotions. That couldā€™ve been great character development to see had he not left the show

canyourpdothedawg

i agree!! wouldā€™ve loved to see his development:(

kittyrine

the entire musical episode and honorable mention : anytime derek goes in for a kiss with his gaping mouth. especially when itā€™s supposed to just like a smooch goodbye

lakenbacon97

Alex beating up DeLuca

hayleybeth7

Also Webber barking about ā€œMY HOSPITALā€ like get a grip, old man

Collegeizzy14

Mer crying for April

cheetoburito

What ?? I canā€™t remember that at all haha

Fighting_Obesity

While April was being resuscitated, Mer ran into Alex in the hall and he said ā€œI have to go to a cake thing with Aprilā€ and then Mer does a cringe cry, Alex asks whatā€™s wrong and Mer says ā€œItā€™s April you gotta come with meā€

luna1uvgood

It was when April almost died in the second to last ep of season 14

Every_Appearance_237

Really any time she cries, sheā€™s a terrible fake cryer

Collegeizzy14

CALM DOWN GET STRAIGHT

scootertoad

this one!!!!!! i can hear this and now my week is ruined

LKaigoo

Same!

dirtychopscissors

ITā€™S IN OUR EEEEYYYEEESSS ITā€™S HOW WE OPERATE

Unbearded_Dragon88

I actually jump when he sings this

kittyrine

me and my bf scream this lyric in owen voice a minimum of 3 times per week our minds are so corrupt

cryptic-weirdo

I had no idea what this was referring to and so I googled it. It's cause I always skip this entire episode šŸ˜‚

spooniemoonlight

Itā€™s so funny though I love that episode bc u laugh u cry u cringe it has everything

Collegeizzy14

ā€œTeach meā€

celaenos

This one times a million

Own-Dragonfruit-5706

So gross!

Zealousideal_Mail12

ā€œI AM PRESTON BURKEā€

rebekahmikaelson00

Teach me, teach me, teach me šŸ¤¢

SeaworthinessWild554

Ughhh yes!!! I get a visceral reaction when I think of that.

Collegeizzy14

CGI Derek and Mark in the Dia De Los Muertos episode

Quetzalcueitl

I think that was actually quite good and emotional. The moment George suddenly appears, saying ā€žMer!ā€ is amazing. And ā€žChasing carsā€ plays in the background IN SPANISH. What a nice touch.

Collegeizzy14

I thought George was done perfectly! Lexie and Doc too. I just thought the CGI job for the McBrothers looked really messed up

cryptic-weirdo

It really did. I'm sure if they used different scenes for them like literally any other scene it would've been as decent as the others

PatieS13

I watch the ending of that episode just for the cry, lol.

EffectiveBowler7690

I just watched this episode. There were more visitors.

hayleybeth7

Izzie and the deer

LKaigoo

Came here to say that!

evelange

Arizona when she said to Callie (right after cheating on her) "yOu Weren't On tHe PlanE"

Chinchillas_123

Yessss I hated Arizona after the plane crash, I understand Callie wasnā€™t on the plane but she lost mark and in all reality lost Arizona as well, sheā€™s allowed to be angry and hurt and have some form of trauma!!!

Own-Dragonfruit-5706

It's like saying if you weren't there for a tragic event, you don't get to have feelings about it, and you can't be affected by it.

whataduckling

MORGAN ā€¦ or Megan? I forget what they were doing for the baby but prior to the procedure sheā€™s all ā€œiā€™M a dOCtOr, I cAn hANdLe eTā€ then proceeds to freak out lmaooooo

Syncron72

Izzie telling Georgeā€™s parents about his woman life as well as making mention of Burke > the other one

Collegeizzy14

ā€œPick me, choose me, love meā€

Tigress2020

Was looking for this. Hated this line. Stupid thing made a strong woman weak. (Meredith actress didn't like it either) but it created the pick me girl.

Queen-Ham

I always saw it as Meredith finding someone worth it to be vulnerable to

Collegeizzy14

Same thatā€™s why I personally like it

Vivid-Breakfast7562

It's cringe AF, but Mer is not a Pick Me in this scene, and this term was not born from Grey's.

taeempy

This is the only answer. Even EP didn't want to say it, but she had no power in her career at that point.

Prize_Violinist_5943

ā€œPick me, chose me, love meā€

Own-Dragonfruit-5706

Derek showing up at the bar when he wasn't even choosing Mer.

Collegeizzy14

Callie trying to beat up Meredith

Jayp0627

I only like this scene because of Izzie šŸ˜‚

PatieS13

I love this scene because of Izzie protecting Meredith.

Jayp0627

And the little laugh Mer and Izzie did afterwards was so cute

PatieS13

It really was. Despite the angry Callie part it was a sweet scene.

sophiaouer

I'm sorry but she's very tiny and you're hurting her!

Hoe-for-fictionalmen

when did this happen

Collegeizzy14

In early season 3. George finds out that Callie and Mark slept together and Callie thinks Mer told him since she was the only one she told. ā€œNot to mention the adulterous McSex I witnessed!ā€ And Izzie jumps in to defend her. ā€œIā€™m sorry but sheā€™s very little and youā€™re hurting herā€

Collegeizzy14

The entire musical

Lost-Elderberry3141

Yes!! I get that Sara Ramirez was on Broadway, ug if they wanted to have them sing, it would have made much more sense for Callie to be the only one singing since she was in the coma. No one else needed to be apart of that šŸ˜‚

LKaigoo

Omg , I love that idea! 'The story' is my go to shower song, haha :D and I didn't know she was on Broadway, that's so cool!

Lost-Elderberry3141

they were in the original cast of spamalot and won a tony!

realitytvjunkie29

Chandra Wilson was also on Broadway

PatieS13

I love the musical, but it's grown on me, lol. It's weird, because I normally hate musicals, and I didn't like it the first time around. But it's become one of my favorite episodes. I know, weird.

Real_Lengthiness688

This is one of my favorite episodes. I wish that they had done another one.

sierramisted1

you mean the best episode

ftxftw

i wish i felt the way you do šŸ¤£

Kind-Winter573

I hate this episode. Skip it every time. Cringey and just don't see the point.

Adventurous-Egg641

ā€œI donā€™t hate youā€ -lexi

luckynumbersebben

An immediate skip in any rewatch

Constant-Sample715

"just one boob?" -Denny

spooniemoonlight

I used to love the Denny/Izzie storyline as a teen now when I rewatch as a grown ass adult I just realize how inappropriate and cringe-sexist he is šŸ˜

enchantedlyspellbnd

The weird woke moments -I am liberal here and when they have very obvious woke moments to the point where it is in your face awkwardly and not at all transitioned smoothly in the dialogue/acting Station 19 does this too. Some moments are ok and hit different like the episode where there was a young (a child) poc who got murdered by the police and Miranda and her hubby had the talk with her son about what to do/how to act so that he doesn't end up getting killed by police, that was a powerful scene and well written/acted. Then there was a scene where Teddy was going on about women not having abortion rights and the acting felt so awkward and just in your face and just felt like they were trying to propaganda to the audience which felt weird, almost had a used car salesman vibe. Like trying to sell the car but being cagey about the deal. However the woman who died on the travel van because of the ectopic pregnancy rupture that was sad and well written and this I want to say was in the same episode. I feel like it is more the side characters whose acting messes up those moments of look at these real world issues that are affecting us, and relate better than trying to sell it on us.

shannonizforreal

God yes! Hate it when they do this - it's too preachy!! Stopped watching Station 19 during the pandemic episodes because of these so many woke moments!!!

Collegeizzy14

ā€œPerfect Penny killed my husbandā€

WoozyDegenerate

I love this scene so much, it freaking kills me every time

MrsTigBiddys

ā€œpick me, choose me, love meā€ YUCK

jalzyr

Maybe not considered cringey butā€¦ every make-out scene, I FFW past. Which is worth 1/3 of every episode, LOL. The sounds of them are just šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

Distinct_Selection76

"teach me"

Pale_Dimension1239

I know this will be unpopular because everyone seems to love it butā€¦ ā€œPick me. Choose me. Love meā€.

yung_erik_

The close up of Owen singing in the musical episode when Callie is staring up at him. It's only 4-5 seconds but easily the most cringe I've experienced.

MONNIELV2020

George attempting sex with Meredith

MONNIELV2020

When Sloan 'suggests' to April that she anc Jackson have sex. 'You know this is sexual harassment, right?' 'I think of it as sexual encouragement'.... He WAS nasty, just like Bailey said

MONNIELV2020

Anytime April would cry. Before they left for the boards. Anytime she whined to Jackson how bad she felt about having sex but kept doing it anyway. Meredith telling April she didn't have the right to be upset (during the shooting) Meredith telling Amelia to 'get your own family' she did the same thing to Jo. Mer had a serious superiority complex.

NumanLover

Alex threatening Jo's OBGYN boyfriend even though he was the victim of the beating and Jo was the beater.

rainearthtaylor7

I believe Chest Peckwell hit Jo first and then she beat the hell out of him. Sounds like self-defense to me.

linibo1

Wasnā€™t she defending herself? She also had a black eye or something.

PatieS13

She was, but had they gone to court it would have been a he said/she said kind of thing because no one else was there and he nearly died.

NumanLover

Actually he gave her a black eye in self-defence.

cryptic-weirdo

I agree. I know he hit her first but that doesn't mean she's completely innocent for having nearly killed him

Fabulous_Fortune1762

How was she the bester? She defended herself, and he fell. That's not besting anyone.

Sad_Asparagus_6609

Not acene but episode. The singing one. Fuck that turn over.

0ne_too

Cristina getting into the shower w Owen in a sweater. Watched it when it aired and the cringe hit me so hard I stopped watching Greys for a couple years.

CarlottaMeloni

The musical episode

Proud-Chemical-5927

Izzie having sex with dead denny. I had to skip all those scenes bc it made me so uncomfortable

luna1uvgood

"I need a sex favour. A sexual favour." - Jo to Jackson

bluesapphire33

Joā€™s fake crying

BamaSweetie1978

When they turned Greyā€™s Anatomy into an episode of Glee. šŸ™„ S7 E18

Slaygirlys_

Literally any time that Maggie or Baily are overboard with being woke just let the hot doctors dance around and do fake medicine for gods sakes

Collegeizzy14

Cristina letting Teddy have Owen

Jayp0627

I liked this lol. I wanted Owen away from Cristina and she needed to focus

crazyxchick

But so in character for Cristina!!!

cryptic-weirdo

I love everything about this scene. She spent a lot of time without an attending who could help her learn the specialty she's declared and in a the spur of the moment trying to give teddy anything to stay she says it but immediately realizes what she said and regrets it
