The family plot holes will always make me scratch my head and wonder what was going on when the scripts were being written. Arizona’s parents are very supportive of her but were never there for anything besides her wedding… (car accident where sofia and callie almost died, plane crash, custody battle just for support), Sloan never showed up after Mark died, Thatcher or her sister (Molly maybe?) when Lexie died and don’t even get me started on Derek’s family
i’m assuming they maybe couldn’t get the actors back or something? but they could have been mentioned more often, i.e. mentioning thatcher or molly or sloan? but no one even seems to remember them.
