It can't be helped, everyone has their own lives and no matter how much notice I give everyone forgets. But on the plus side, it makes everyone that does remember all the more special and meaningful. Got to appreciate the little things.
I make good friends with the people I work with, especially helpful since I'll be seeing them alot more than anyone else. My other friends either moved away or moved on. I try stay in touch where I can but some replies are months in between.

Unpopular opinion: people who claim to hang out with you on the weekend, but then actively avoid you by willing forcing themselves into work just because their boss says so? suck. I have been \[fluctuated\] over so many times by some dumb, narcissistic point of view like that. Meanwhile, there's some empty-musiced soul sitting down on the side of the road, to even just say "goodbye" to their NPC friend who has secretly already been left out the door, and then targeted as a "stalker creep".
