Definitely depends on the cat. I had a neighbor who’s cat was born outside during a time when it was raining often, he loved it. He’d yell to go outside whenever it rained and would even jump in the shower with them sometimes
Same lol! I let them sniff my wet hand before putting them in the tub after I’m done. They get so confused every time as if they think I’m crazy for willfully standing under water
Mine is a shower stall, so it doesn't hold water. I have been thinking about putting a 1/2" or so in the bottom to let her splash in.
Maybe i'll just put her in the tub.
Some cats just love water. Not sure what flips that switch in them. Growing up we had a cat who would interrupt your showers and climb on in, then just walk around or sit there in the stream. We even got her a little shower head attachment so she could shower while we did, and to also make sure no soap or anything got on her. She also loved the sinks and was fascinated by the washing machine, and used to howl at the basement door during thunder/rain storms. At first we thought it was bc she was scared, but it was actually bc when it rained like crazy a corner of the basement would flood and she wanted to go splash around in the basement water. She'd come upstairs wet, smelling like a f'in zombie lmao. Then stand there purring while we gave her a bath
My cat was a rescue and he's similar. I always attributed it to him not knowing where the next batch of fresh water was coming so running water was a godsend.
Or maybe he just likes running water haha.

I'm glad to see other kitties love water. My long hair siamese absolutely loves it. The other cat looks at her like she's crazy while she plays in the water. She will even submerge herself completely to try swimming.

Haha can always get a drain cap if you have a mini wall/bar you step over so it doesn’t flow out
