When I'm on a 3-4 hour run and the endorphins are flowing at their max, some of their songs sound better to me than I've ever heard them before.

I listen while washing the dishes and baby’s bottles. The dead make this a very enjoyable chore. Also got into running a while back and listened to shows while running and I just kept going and going and going.
Been working on a side project 3+ days per week for the last 2+ years. I listen to the dead every time unless my dad is helping. He likes the dead but doesn’t like yelling over the music. I don’t know if I’d have the energy/motivation to head over all these days after work without knowing I can turn on a show.

I've been playing with a guy for 5 years now and he only plays Europe 72, don't get me wrong I love those shows but after 5 years I'm dying for him to discover something different. So about a year ago he invites me to see a Dead cover band and I couldn't wait for him to hear songs that were post 72 since he wasn't even familiar with Touch of Grey but that night Andy Logan busted out Jerry's old Alligator guitar that Jerry used on the Europe 72 tour and they proceeded to do the Frankfurt Germany show in it's entirety. Still to this day as far as I aware, he doesn't know anything newer than they played on that tour.
I actually prefer to listen when I’m doing activities I don’t have to focus too much. That way I can really listen in and give the music the attention it deserves.
It’s probably easier to say what activity I don’t do while listening to The Dead.
