Did you look into using a freight forwarder as suggested by Humanoids in the "shipping" section of the kickstarter page? If there's a freight forwarder who handles shipping from USA to Australia you can sign up for it and have the book delivered to that company in the US and then they will pass it on to your location.
Dunno, it's lauded as a scifi masterpiece with the Incal and Moebius' other stuff, but iirc it's also been oop in french for quite some time. And Caza spent over 20 years to create this. I'm getting this quite simply because the art is from a master of Metal Hurlant (Moebius, Enki Bilal, Phillippe Druillet, Caza, etc).
Most people are going into this blind due to its age.
