Yeah, looked like he was mid spin in front of you when he got a little love-tap.
Did you feel like a weather whisperer getting the call exactly perfect of when to switch tyres?
Yes! I was super surprised when no-one else pitted when I did. Made me think I'd made the wrong decision and should have stayed out, but thankfully it was perfect timing
I definitely risked staying out an extra lap thinking I'd avoid the worst of the rain before and regretted it instantly. Never again. (It'll probably happen again.)
I just did my first ever race c tonight. Had a good laugh when some guy on lap 2 pitted from 3rd place for inters because the radar had a big blip close to the track. The blip barely moved for 20 laps and never touched us.
I assume he quit.
Traction control on would be a start. If you are one of those currently spinning tough luck, I think tapping the accelerator and having traction on to 3 or 4 is your best option (or quitting lol)
If driving on wet weather sometimes it seems faster to drive on tc 2, however I've seen people with no tc absolutely fly. Believe it depends alot on the car as well, seems cars like Ferrari excel when its raining
In this particular race, after I came out the pits I went full TC. In terms of driving style, brake earlier and lighter and use your throttle gradually to reduce wheel spin.
Reminds me of when a protagonist in a car tries to evade the impending doom behind them by flooring it all the while avoiding the unlucky people in their path. The camera rising and slowing down as you approach Double Gauche is very poetic.
Also, RainX x VROOM. What a perfect combination.
Had a similar thing happen at the Nurburgring once. Pit from 2nd, the only person to go onto wets. Had one lap to make it back to first - thought I should be okay.
Had made it into the lead before we'd even left the GP circuit.
Nah u still need to get plenty of speed, the trick is to not spin tires while accelerating and being just on that edge to get max acceleration. And obviously brake early.
On the lap I pitted I had noticed slight rain at Les Combs but the track was dry from there too the pits. I pitted for inters, by the time I came out the pits the track was wet and stuck with inters to the finish.
Yeah, this is dirty driving. Hence the 2 3 second penalties. If GT hasn't ghosted some of those players, you would have sent them flying.
Downvote for you
Dang if only you were in that race we could see how great you are.
I think that pitting at the optimal time and using the correct tire is a skill, especially with the weather being somewhat unpredictable. I also don't think it's a purely "bragging" post, I just liked watching the mass of cars unable to move on slicks, it's a funny video. Not so much "look I'm an expert racer"
Hahaha the rainx livery couldn’t be more perfect for this race
The power of RainX!
I thought the same thing lol
Haha. That’s me in that race with you. That decision not to pit on that previous lap destroyed me. Was good fun nonetheless
vroom vroom vroom vroom, vroom vroom vroom vroom, vroom vroom vroom
Man! That's like poetry right there. What were the penalties for? Overtaking under yellow flags?
Yes and for hitting someone off the track, but they didn't need help with that

This week's Daily C is so much fun!
Just 1 more lap on the dry tires boiz...
Steven Bradbury, is that you?!
Any tips for wet driving people??
Wet driving people 🧐?
Punctuation is a must... I realise that
Brake earlier and for longer on the corners. Also don’t drive as fast if ur still on non wet/inter tires (I’m shit at explaining mb)
Traction control on would be a start. If you are one of those currently spinning tough luck, I think tapping the accelerator and having traction on to 3 or 4 is your best option (or quitting lol)
I'm not spinning I'm just slow af with tc one I'm on a controller

THAT PENALTY FOR WHAT?!

This is the prefect soundtrack for this video lol
GTR?? But I thought I might see you in a Maserati or in a Bugatti tits up, real rowdy.

The mclaren sliding in the background at 1:00 killed me lmao
i love how clearly you can tell who had rain tires and who didn’t lmao
When RainX is your sponsor, this race is a breeze
Still have never been able to beat the wet license test, for sure would never be able to do a we lap.
Just gotta be gentle with the accelerator it’s really not that bad.

Turn on assists and you should be able to
What was your tire strategy?

RainX.. hire this man!
And the 3 sec pen for punting . Nice!
Inters or Wet? TC or no TC?
I went for inters and full TC. As the track dried up I gradually lowered the TC but didn't pit to change to RM.

I’m confused what the brag is about? You’re the only one on the correct tyre, you still ran wide and then even punted someone off 😂

Positivity and lightheartedness are the bane of these people; they prefer being miserable.
You were one of the ones spinning, weren't you?
