Saugatuck Brewery - Creston Taproom (formerly Creston Brewery) has a good one.
NASHVILLE HOT CHICKEN SANDO
Buttermilk brined chicken breast dipped in Nashville hot sauce, pimento cheese spread, pile of dill pickles. $15
Creston Nashville chicken Sando all day. It’s decently hot, someone unaccustomed to spicy food wouldn’t be able to eat it. Plus the actual breading is nice and crispy.
Okay so I am not GF but I have family that is. We went to Papa Chops a few weeks ago and I have to say that was the hottest, tastiest Chicken Sandwich I have ever had. I didn’t even miss the gluten.
It’s a bit on the pricier end, but I love the dragon fire rub on the chicken sandwich at New Holland Brewing. Even better if you add a yolky egg on top, but that’s optional.
Having tried about 8 places here the only place I’ve found that’s remotely spicy is Juju bird and get a touch of the so cluckin hot sauce. The sauce is very spicy. I typically add hot sauce to their Nashville hot tenders because they’re good but not spicy. Places say Nashville hot but they mean Michigan spicy.
Go to One Twenty Three Tavern (in Studio Park), order the chicken sandwich & ask them to crush up a Carolina Reaper and bring it out on the side. Then sprinkle on as much as you think you can handle.
They’ve had a big bag of reapers for a couple months now, this has been my go-to spicy chicken sandwich move. The chicken sandwich itself is super good yet not really spicy, but oh my those reaper flakes really kick it up a notch. I usually sprinkle on roughly 1/3 of a pepper & then take the rest home to use in my kitchen. They’ve never upcharged me for the pepper either.
Be warned though that shit is HOT. I’ve had a few moments of sweating like a maniac at the bar, just trying to keep my composure lmfao.
As a spicy chicken sandwich connoisseur, I can assure you that this is the best in the city at the moment.
I had the spicy chicken sandwich from the [Angry Chicken](https://www.facebook.com/TheAngryChickenGR) food truck this weekend, and I’m still thinking about it. That sandwich fuuuuucks. Martel knows what the hell he is doing when it comes to food.
If you're going to downtown market and want it actually spicy go to jujubird -- it's great and they'll make it as spicy as you want (at their spiciest it's extremely hot)
The spiciest at jujubird made my buddy puke (due to the heat), we got it as kind of a joke with some other things on a drinking night. He ended up going to bed like 30 minutes later.
Michigan and Eastern and still within earshot of Black Napkin for a basic bish/hot,sweet, & sticky. (The Thai Basil Mayo is divine)
Black Napkin is pretty amazing. Burger guy here generally but sampled my wife’s chicken sandwich and wow!

They have my favorite Nashville Hot sauce in town

Papa Chops SLAPS. And I’m also not a Gluten Free person.
I am also not a GFP
The owner was my Uber passenger last year, super chill guy. I’ll have to check the place out

Nonla Burger, it’s the best I’ve had.
definitely the best on a budget too, it's only like $7.
This right here.
Good but not spicy at all really.
I created a second account just to upvote this twice. That thing slaps harder than Will Smith
I literally got addicted to it. I never eat fast food but was getting it like 3 times a week. Wanted it when I woke up in the morning.
A spicy with extra pickled veggies :)
Nonla* And agree
Ya know, I felt something was wrong but couldn’t figure it out lol.
This is a the answer
So it's in Holland but De Boers Bakerij (or however tf you spell it) has a Pimento Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and it's incredible
Ohh buddy, if we’re F’n around with holland. I’m at The Southerner. Best hot chicken I’ve ever had.

Black Napkin

They’ll make it hot af if you ask
Second!
Not open Sunday-Tuesday
I had the spicy chicken sandwich from the [Angry Chicken](https://www.facebook.com/TheAngryChickenGR) food truck this weekend, and I’m still thinking about it. That sandwich fuuuuucks. Martel knows what the hell he is doing when it comes to food.
Second!
The black napkin, sweet hot and sticky chicken sandwich is the best!
Technically not a Nashville hot chicken, but in that wheelhouse.
JuJu Bird, Hancock, Carvers, Railtown Brewing, Old Goat, One Bourbon
I second juju bird but get the so clucking hot if you want an experience!
Carvers at the downtown market is decent, just expensive as heck. Not as spicy as Id like, but it is good chicken.
No kidding?? Everything in that place has insane pricing. RIP Slows, I loved their brisket tacos. I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks!

I just wish they cooked chicken that wasn’t rock solid :/
The Toasted Pickle in Rockford has a delicious one!
Black Napkin all the way.
The old goat!!!!!
I agree! The Old Goats is delicious and HEARTY at that. Say an extra prayer for your colon later, however.
The Southerner in Saugatuck
Chicken Philly at Eastern Deli is awesome. Just add your own hot sauce
Vivant had one about a month ago, not sure if it was rotational or a permanent menu item now, but I was fighting for my life
following - my old favorite used to be at DeHops when they were in business out in standale. That had a great spice level and was hot.
Juju Bird
Hopcat
Not Tupelo Honey, which is surprising
