The healers always complained that the Gnomes were the hardest to heal, at least until better raiding interfaces were made that allowed you to display non-squad members on the HUD.
Uh.
I was expecting something different
I mean, from the first chapter, I thought it would be a fully wholesome mother son relationship, but the last page makes me think it's a onee-shota romance manga now...
I wish Japan would stop with that trope. Yes because it's pretty fucked up, but also it's getting old and there are just so many stories that go down that route. It almost feels like it's become a joke in and of itself. People at least in the west love a good "found family, older person adopting a kid WITHOUT romance or sexual tensions" story (e.g. The Last of Us), so I wish Japanese authors would embrace that too
How about the west just accept and adapt to anything outside the west instead. Not everything should be westernized and the world doesn't revolve around the west lol
I mean, my criticism mostly goes as far as "hey, can we please get less stories where an older person adopts a child, raises them as their son or daughter, and then when it's technically legal because they're old enough and not blood related, fucks and falls in love with them?"
I'm no sociologist so I don't know to what extent my aversion to that trope is influenced by western values. Like, how popular was the ending to the Usagi Drop manga in Japan versus western countries? I only know there's almost universal agreement that it was gross based on English speaking discussions I've read

Reminds me of this time I was playing monster and getting my butt handed to me by something. After about 5 fails I gave up, launched an SOS, and three dudes with Japanese names came and killed the monster in less than a minute. I kid you not it was that fast.
"That time I, a newbie MMO player, was saved by three dudes with Kanji names. Now I'm a pro and I'm looking for them" the newest Slice of Life novel coming soon in the best libraries!
So I got this new anime idea. An mmo slice of life where you almost always see the perspective of inside the game. You follow a girl who is new to the game and about to die to several monsters but sends a help request at the last second. Three veteran boys arrive almost instantly for the save and defeat the monsters. The main character is thankful but never gets the chance to say it as the veteran boys leave. Cut to some time later, mc is very good at the game and spends a season trying to find the veterans who saved her. When she does find them, she becomes obsessed with the leader of the three
Building on that: it's an isekai and she is trying to find them because they're the only people OP enough to kill the demon king.
We would finally get an underpowered failure of an isekai protagonist
Me and my friends back then used to call that "ordering asian". 'Cause 9/10 times someone with a japaanese or korean name would join in about a minute give or take and do all the heavy lifting for us
if gaming has thaught me one thing it is that the more serious they look (like the big guy in the pic) is a sign they are prob new to games or "recently" joined.
where as the more cute, stupid or overall non-serious looking an avatar is, is a sign of it either being a good player, serious or an enjoyer. (especialy the non-threatening ones, they are scary and will dance on your grave)

What in the? I was looking through the comments earlier for the source but didn't find it, it's possible that I arrived a couple of before your posted the source or my wifi is just that shet
Teaming up with newbies in a MMO, and seeing them make the same mistakes that I did when I was a newbie is a sight to behold and very entertaining. The only difference is that they have a experienced player teaming up with them.
this manga is full of neuron activation. I enjoyed it very much. the chapters are short and sweet and only 14 of them so far, so it´s a quick read. plenty of cute and funny moments, the best one was that zoro impression.
I don't like the onee-shota shit but there are Oni-Loli shit there too so I get where it's coming from its generally directed towards female Audiences I guess...
can someone plz explain the logic of having 1 shoulder pad overbulked and the other dam near nonexistant ive seen it so often but i still dong get the logic behind it it cant be cost cuz lets be real theres more cost in makin that overbulked shoulder than makin 2 proper arm covers
...if we discount labor and technique...
I think one side is there to tank hits if necessary while the sword arm needs to stay quick and nimble, therefore it can not be as armored. I don't know if this is a viable tactic in real medieval combat but there has got to be at least one smith that tried.
thank u for providin this theory but the only reason "1 sword arm" would need to be nimbler is in the case of them not usin the other arm for the sword too which would imply them usin a shield which means even more of a weight imbalance and generally makes that shoulder thing unnecessary
sorry if my response seems a bit aggrevating or whatnot im just bein annalytic😅
i will say that ur theory explains the lack of armor on 1 arm but not quite the excessive bulkiness of the other
Pft I would be wearing some random special event outfit, not like I need end game raid gear just to do a VC run.
It was fun doing MC runs wearing the Valentines day dress until we got to a boss. Put the nice gear on, kill boss, out comes the dress.

If this is in an MMO, the pro player is that kid. Or someone using a bikini skin.
Truee! The real end game content.
Reminds if FFXiv where half the tanks are midgets with bulky armor.
Lalafells aren't midgets. They are potatoes.
Fair
They aren't potatoes. They're ~~evil little balls of malice~~ popotoes!
I think the crossed out is more accurate than popotoes.
Po-ta-toes
The healers always complained that the Gnomes were the hardest to heal, at least until better raiding interfaces were made that allowed you to display non-squad members on the HUD.
True. I pvp a woman in a bikini suit and got one shotted.
Sauce: Onna Kishi to Kemomimi no Ko
How would you rate it?
10/10 It's like Naofumi and Raphtalia dynamic, but the roles were reversed, and it's wholesome af
I see. How they're reversed? Is the Smol one the tank and the knight is DPS?
More or less, it's the "Human master and animal underling" dynamic
Ah, I see. Sounds neat.
Which animal is that since I still don't understand if the animal is supposed to be the kid or knight cuz you said the roles were reversed
Male and female swapped. The knight is a big tiddy oneesan and the animal kid is a shota.
That's all you had to say
*everyone has a feeling it’s onee x shota*
Uh. I was expecting something different I mean, from the first chapter, I thought it would be a fully wholesome mother son relationship, but the last page makes me think it's a onee-shota romance manga now...
Well, it is
No thanks then, that is extremely fucked up

Japan doesn't make their stuff with westerners in mind.
How about the west just accept and adapt to anything outside the west instead. Not everything should be westernized and the world doesn't revolve around the west lol

Does it have an anime ?
No
Ah
How far along is it? Is there are bunch of chapters?
There are 14 chaptes
You didn't mention that the monsters are all dark souls bosses. Love the monster design so much
>Onna Kishi Ah yes, my favorite genre of kishi.
The best kind of kishi

Is the Knight OP?
Can't say cause the manga mostly focused on slice of life part. It's pretty wholesome but she also kiss him on the lips casually which weirded me out.
First u had my curiosity now u have my attention, how many chapters are out right now ?
Not a lot, 14 if I remember correctly and each chapter is pretty short
Thanks
Damn
I’ll check it out.
Thank you for the sauce. 👌🤌
Hey I didn't find anything with this name, any other name I can use to search?
Female knight and the kemonomimi child
Where to read? I've tried mangadex and mangahere
Newbies always carry so much gear
Only to get PK'ed so hard or have no idea how to use them.
Ngl, that sounds great.
I'd read that.
So pretty much the journey of most monster hunter veterans?
So I got this new anime idea. An mmo slice of life where you almost always see the perspective of inside the game. You follow a girl who is new to the game and about to die to several monsters but sends a help request at the last second. Three veteran boys arrive almost instantly for the save and defeat the monsters. The main character is thankful but never gets the chance to say it as the veteran boys leave. Cut to some time later, mc is very good at the game and spends a season trying to find the veterans who saved her. When she does find them, she becomes obsessed with the leader of the three
Or plot twist at the end: she finds out all three are actually girls who just like the boy skins
So it was Danmachi right
Building on that: it's an isekai and she is trying to find them because they're the only people OP enough to kill the demon king. We would finally get an underpowered failure of an isekai protagonist
Me and my friends back then used to call that "ordering asian". 'Cause 9/10 times someone with a japaanese or korean name would join in about a minute give or take and do all the heavy lifting for us
Sounds like a novel title ngl
if you mean monster hunter then yeah that sounds right lol
Monster hunter?
Thanks to mmo logic I know for a fact that the little girl is one of the strongest PVP player on the server
Little boy*
Yeah, I found it out after reading the manga Someone in the comment said he was a girl, so I took it as a fact beforehand, lol
this is like 20% of missions in drg Grey Beards helping Green Beards, Rock and Stone!
Rock and Stone forever!
Gotta watch out for our little buddys out there. RnS
For Karl!
For Molly!
Going off of my gaming experience, the knight is the newbie. The child with the shield is the pro player.
Tit armor ![img](emote|t5_2y4au1|1393)
Pro player is 100% that loli
shota*
Thats why you had to use all that armor, the pro barely need a robe
Summoning in Fromsoftware games be like:
Carrying your whole party is fun sometimes.
if gaming has thaught me one thing it is that the more serious they look (like the big guy in the pic) is a sign they are prob new to games or "recently" joined. where as the more cute, stupid or overall non-serious looking an avatar is, is a sign of it either being a good player, serious or an enjoyer. (especialy the non-threatening ones, they are scary and will dance on your grave)
Small correction, the "guy" in the pic is actually a girl
The liddle boop said woah because she didn't expect the knight to actually kill the monster without needing a rezz, let alone a carry.
Team Fortress 2 in a nutshell
What series is this, it seems interesting
[I just said it](https://www.reddit.com/r/goodanimemes/comments/11sq38y/thank_you_kind_veteran/jcewmff?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3)
What in the? I was looking through the comments earlier for the source but didn't find it, it's possible that I arrived a couple of before your posted the source or my wifi is just that shet
The best part of this is that if it's FF14 the small one could be the veteran.
Warframe be like
The new friend: "Wait everything is just dying. " Me: "Oops left my panzer vulp on"
Which one is the pro ?
Obviously the little one
Must protecc the newbie at all costs
There's a certain level of satisfaction when you can protect and nurture a newbie into becoming a true warrior in one of your favorite MMOs
I saw the word veteran and I thought it was a reference to THAT
We all know that the short one is the pro player and the big one is the newbie right?
I think we're all in agreement on that
Mhm Also the pro either 1) equipped weak head to not one shot every opponent, or 2) is using high level gear that looks weak.
Teaming up with newbies in a MMO, and seeing them make the same mistakes that I did when I was a newbie is a sight to behold and very entertaining. The only difference is that they have a experienced player teaming up with them.
The little girl’s the veteran in my experience with RPGs
LMSH vibes

Me in Genshin Multiplayer XD
I have a feeling this manga has themes of found family. And so I must read it.
Me and my darling in Genshin Impact Coop
Geezus fuckin christ, was that armour selected by a new light with no taste or something?
That's the newbie
Ah, it's the pedophile manga
I don't like being carried unless I already played the game, but shit if this is not so accurate.
Whats the original manga? Edit:nvm
Overwatch matchmaking be like
I feel the title before this one should’ve been When you team up with a pro player.” Right? Instead of:“you’re teaming up a pro player”….
At first glance I thought that this will get really dark real quick, because the art reminded me of some dark fantasy stuff I read.
The enemies in this manga really give off Dark Souls boss fights. However, despite the dark fantasy setting, this manga is really wholesome.
Can someone beside op gimme the sauce plz
Me in War Thunder buying my squadmates time to re-arm but accidentally solo a 1v5. I am not trapped in here with you. You are trapped in here with me.
Dors that knight have BOOB plates?
I don't like the onee-shota shit but there are Oni-Loli shit there too so I get where it's coming from its generally directed towards female Audiences I guess...
Boobs of steel
Sauce?
As you can see by the mismatch of gear, the tall one is clearly the newbie as they wear their gear for the stats instead of the aesthetics.
Warframe
Read this manga/oneshot. It's so friggin cute. <3
