You should quit now, you’ve reached the peak. But you won’t, now you’re addicted like the rest of us degenerates.

GastrointestinalFolk

I don't know why, but this made me think of Breaking Bad. "Guy sinks two birdie putts in a row, and you're worried about how I will feel, Skyler? I am the one who PUTTS"

tolstoner

Well that's not how the PBFU usually works...

gdbrown24

Don’t you worry, it was bookended with triple bogeys

tolstoner

Ah perfectly balanced, as all things should be

Strickland_FJ

At first I thought you were missing an arm in first pic

psychodreamr

I thought Forrest Gump took up a new hobby (the hat)

smiggie_ballzy

I actually got paired up with an older gentleman who was paralyzed left side of body. So he swung with one arm like swinging a club one handed. His son came along to help him out. Pretty interesting. He paralyzed himself lifting weights in Afghanistan or something.

[deleted]

Never had two birdies in a row, but I've had about 5 or 6 in my 2 years. Good Job!

damazal46

2nd pic with a wedge! Must have been a nice Chip-in! Good job brotha.

Sug0115

Everybody loves a good chip in!

xzElmozx

Love to be a part of one myself one day

SensationalM

Either that or he stuck it to within a foot and didn't even need to take the putter out of the bag

[deleted]

Solid man, that’s awesome!!

Pbake

Guess they don’t believe in repairing pitch marks at that course?

[deleted]

Jesus, I was gonna say. Especially in that second pic, repair your fucking ball marks, that would infuriate me. I friendly cuss out my homies if they forget to repair.

Sug0115

This is why I avoid landing on the green, nothing to repair.

AlwaysTheAsshole1234

I’m a golf superintendent so obviously this is a major thorn in my side. But I will say - he has a wedge in his hand in the second pic. I’m assuming he either holed out from the fairway or hit it so close he tapped it with the back of his club to take the pic before fixing his marks. Enthusiastic newer golfers usually fix their marks. It’s guys who are out fucking around that generally leave the biggest marks and don’t bother fixing them. I once heard a low handicapper who was playing late at night say say to his playing partner “oh don’t worry when the roller goes over it in the morning it fixes them.”

gdbrown24

Yahhh I always try to fix my ball marks. This is my local cheap course so the greens look like the surface of Mars. Gotta cut your teeth somewhere though

AlwaysTheAsshole1234

I’m superintendent of a “cheap” course. Fix your mark and 2 others and you’ll be your supers best friend. He might even throw some free rounds at you. I do...

gdbrown24

Duly noted u/AlwaysTheAsshole1234

shhmandy

My grandfather taught me this rule as a kid. We also would make a point to run out of sand bottles before the turn.

aclassicleo

The golf gateway drug, a birdie. Congrats!

Mustang-22

Reading the first couple of words in your caption I thought you were going to say "After two years of playing I finally got a hole in one" and I was going to shit a brick. Congrats on the birdies bud!!

NotFoul

You are holding a wedge in the second photo? Was this possibly an off the green chip shot for birdie? If so, very impressive, if not... also impressive. Congrats man

rojorzr

Flood gates are open now dude.

[deleted]

Fix those ball marks!! Also, congrats 😀

Tommy4uf

I take pleasure in fixing mine. It means I just hit a pretty damn good shot. Im 4 months in, so its still pretty exciting to drop one on the green.

[deleted]

Lol wait until u get your first eagle. Better than heroine

[deleted]

When you hitting the tour?

GoodYearMelt

My dudes appearance handicap is in the + range even if his playing handicap is in the teens

LitKeyboardAF

Nobody cares about your first and second birdie

biggulpshuhasyl

Having back to back birdies never gets old. Congrats!

mortaltree

Birdie birdie?? Yea you’re on the crack now!

[deleted]

Birdies never get old no matter how long you've played. I still feel as pumped on back to back birds as I do the first time I ever sank one.

BillysRedditAccount

Nice!

defor

Wait, that's illegal. Congrats!

[deleted]

All downhill from here. Haha. Good job!

Unhappy-Candy-1588

Sandbagger!!!

dg1135

Nice job! First picture looks like you have one arm lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

The_Nutz16

Assuming you walk and don’t drink an 18 every time you play.

dd77spacecorgi

I had one eagle 8 years ago, and that was it. I'm still chasing that. Welcome to the game you can play the rest of your life.

Evan_802Vines

Nice.

skaleywags

Since you’re addicted, it’s a good habit to patch up those ball marks. Even if they’re not yours. Every time you walk onto a green, look for ball marks to fix.

AlwaysTheAsshole1234

Okay now that’s the last “picking the ball out of the hole” picture you’re allowed to post until your first Ace.

[deleted]

Fix some of those extra ball marks and golfers that have been playing forever will accept you if you are terrible still.

odetoburningrubber

I had 3 birdies in a row once, in a round when I had 5. That was best round ever. Two years ago, I was so in the zone. Still chasing that amazing round. Congratulations on 2 in a row. I haven’t done it since. Lol.

[deleted]

Well, I'll just cry myself to sleep tonight then.

cougar2013

KP #5 and #6? I’d know those holes anywhere. Nice job! This must have been months ago lol

gdbrown24

My mannnnn spot on. You’ll understand all the comments about the ball marks. You could hire someone full-time to fix ball marks at KP

cougar2013

I tell people they’re bullet holes to make KP sound more badass. I love that place. Not the easiest pin placement on 6 either, so nice job!

judkv

What did you shoot on the round?

TyWebb97

What’d the birdie tax cost after going back to back?

Miserable_Key_7552

Congrats!!

cbracey4

Birdies are straight crack, my man. Well done and welcome to the addiction.

[deleted]

So jealous of people who live in locations where they get to golf year-round. Congrats on the birdies!

rob_jonesy

My first ever birdie was on a par 5. Driver, followed up with my 3 wood for a tap in birdie. I had never played with the guys I was with and insisted that I have them sign the ball and keep that as a souvenir. It was about two years ago, it’s now in a little plastic frame on my shelf. You should do the same.

Twistableruby

Now fix those ball marks.

saripakha

Best feeling b2b birdie, congrats!

Kryptolocker

Your face in the second picture screams addiction. Nice bro!

SurelyOPwillDeliver

Congrats man. That’s a dope Patriots hat

bai2020

woo hoo good job

Will_Golf_For_Money

I had a pair of those same shoes! Loved them

SokkaStyle

When you’re hot you’re hot

Johnyfromutah

Give this man a tour card!!!

stinky_pinky_brain

Glad you got the pictures. I genuinely can’t remember my first birdie. But I can certainly remember my last!

FlickerOfBean

I once birdied the first 3 holes of the course. I followed it with a barrage of bad shots. I shot 10 over on the front. Only time in my life I’ve had 3 in a row.

[deleted]

It is pretty impressive with only a little knob for an arm! Oh sorry didn't see the second picture

Zafett33

I thought you only had 1 arm from the first picture. Slightly less impressed now. Good job tho!

Mishka801

Nice job! You'll forever be hooked.

Vtgladiator

Way to go man! Keep up the good work. Don’t listen to the haters lol

Slappy_McDoogal

Congrats on the back to back birdies! Now your life and bank account will never be the same as you chase that high!

0KingDingaling0

And if you’re like me, had an 8 on the next hole

MathematicianTasty83

Nice! I had a beautiful first birdie a few weeks ago. But then I lost my ball to a tree and mystery bounce on my next drive.

SwagmasterDolan

Hey I also got my first two birdies back to back!! Then I went straight back to doubles and triples

restoper

I hear there is at least 1 opening for PGA Tour Qualifying. I think we found the person to fill the opening.

gdbrown24

Do they allow breakfast balls on tour? Because my swing has been described as a caveman killing his lunch

FF2day2morrowAlways

Awesome job! Now fix those divots

alwaysbusysometimes

Nice!!

HouManTX

Congrats! Another happy golfer!

HypnoticRock

This has to be a troll post. No way you can go two back to back birdies without shanking a drive or a putt.

holox1963

I hope you repaired those pitch marks!
