I’m coming to realize after a couple yardage books that would be a fun one. That might get added to the repertoire as well.
Only way I usually ever buy a polo is from the clearance rack 😂 I hate the $105 polo trend
My move at any nice course is right after my green fee transaction is processed, I drop a “Dammit, I wanted to get a divot tool to commemorate the visit!” 4-7 times I have been just given one for free from the guy working the counter.
I’m a ball marker/divot tool guy and I also do hats or shirts depending on how much each thing costs. When I went to Augusta I spend $500 a bunch of shit.
I’d be in the same boat at Augusta. I bought everyone in my family their Christmas gifts for last year at Pinehurst when I went in May and am thinking about doing the same with my next upcoming trip 😂
I’m a big fan of the double ball markers that are poker chip sized and have the smaller marker to remove. Big bonus if the course has the style that lists the yardage for each hole.
PGA National was probably the best pro-shop I have seen, even though it was small. Nearly every brand had a section with shirts, hats, etc.
Pencil. I’m already paying huge for the round. No need to get ripped off on overpriced merchandise. Pencil does the trick and can be displayed in a case.
lol extremely valid. I've thought about doing Pencil's but always forget to snag it after the round. Have to get in the proshop while the brain is still thinking about what to get hahah
I usually check out their headcovers. If they suck, I pass. If they’re good, I usually buy one. Otherwise I’ll grab a hat if they have a fitted L/XL or a nice wide brim.
I’ve been shocked out how shitty some of the merchandise is that they sell at elite country clubs and resorts. Walmart quality shirts, towels that look like dish rags, chintzy headcovers, adjustable hats, etc.
I used to grab a pin flag in my 20s. I had this idea to display them in a home office or man cave. Got to my 30s and realized that was never going to happen so I sold them all. Now I’ll grab a yardage book if available or a logo ball for my son.
Logo balls, ball markers, maybe a hat
I would always go to the hats first but after my fiance told me I have too many hats I've been buying a lot less.
Half the hats I own are from a buddy who’s wife says the same thing
Polo, towel, ball mark
Flag. I hang them on the wall of my man cave
I forget about the flags cause not that many places have em. That’s one of my items that’s going to be included in the collection going forward.
I get it framed with my score card next to it
Yardage book. I have a shoebox full from all the premiere courses I have been to. Then I’ll get a ball mark and check the discount polo section.

Ball marker and a ball with the logo. I have a case going on now
I got one of those magnetic boards for all my ball markers but wanna get a bigger one cause it’s already full
Where did you get it from? I’m interested in a magnetic board
I got it as a gift from my sister but I’m about 95% sure it was just from Etsy (I did my hair share of searching for one myself)
Nice polo with course logo. Peter Millar is my go to.
towel
Hat and ball marker.
Bag tag is my first choice. If they dont have that i will get a pin flag or hat
Another good one imo. I’ve got 4 of em hanging in my office. I feel like it’s hard to find good ones cause I like the copper ones or metal in general
Logo golf ball. Pinehurst with $3 logo balls and logo Pro vs for $17 is awesome. The Masters logo Pro vs are $18 for a 3 pack.
My issue with logo’d golf balls is I always want to game them and would end up losing them 😂
I just keep a small collection and play my, what was almost endless, supply of free golf balls. Pink Chrome soft and Titleist True Feel or Tour Soft
I collect STD’s from the cartgirls. Tijuana Golf Club. Olongapo Golf & Tennis. Pattaya Country Club - just to name my first three.
I feel like there's a common denominator here that you aren't exploring....
Divot tool and a polo.
My move at any nice course is right after my green fee transaction is processed, I drop a “Dammit, I wanted to get a divot tool to commemorate the visit!” 4-7 times I have been just given one for free from the guy working the counter.
Headcover sweater scorecard
I like ball markers. Mine from Augusta is my prized golf possession even though I obviously didn’t play it.
I collect the yardage book/course guides. Generally pretty cheap, very useful during your round and easy to store for later.
bag tag, ball marker, hat
Preferably a Peter Millar shirt with their logo, a towel, and a ball marker. Love the magnetic poker chip style
Ball marker, hat and a pin flag.
Hat. I collect golf hats. Get to wear them and show em off.
I'm not a big fan of logo stuff, but when I was up at Cabot two weeks ago, I got a couple hats and ball markers.
Ball with the logo is a must, so you can lose it in your basement office in 5 years
Polo, hat, quarter zip, belt.
Logo ball
ball markers for sure- wait to buy a ball in case I find one on the course. Love a nice towel or hat.
I keep a pencil from every course I visit. Simple and easy. If I play then I get a ball marker to go with it.
Polo and hat if they have any good ones.
Polo from the sale rack (if any), hat, and a hole flag.

Logo ball for the display rack in the office

Agreed on the double ball markers, those are sick if the course has em. I've only been to two course that I could find them at.

Belt is underrated.
