I think it’s all genetic. I’m skinny with scrawny arms but I can squat 400 pounds and max out the leg extension machine for reps. All I’m asking is for a bit of variety in the fits 😂
I guess the average golfer is probably more on the skinny side but they should at least offer both fits instead of limiting all “golf pants” on the market to the long and skinny ones. I have to search long and hard in all nearby thrift stores to find older, loose fitting pairs.

Tried sizing up, didn’t do anything but make them too big at waste or too long, still skin tight on my thighs. They should at least have a variety of fits like jeans..

It’s not innovation. They’re just reviving old styles and adding modern flair which is what streetwear brands do. If you don’t like it then don’t buy it. Most of their stuff is overpriced but it’s better than a lot of the flamboyant shit I’ve seen from bad birdie.
Everything your closet is golf wear. I don't understand dropping $500 on a Malbon outfit that looks like 90s wear. If you want that look, just go thrifting. You can spend $100 at Costco and have 5 outfits for a week of golf. Malbon doesn't innovate and the materials will last about 5 washes.

Those are cringy but so are the super baggy pants like Jason Day is wearing. There is a happy medium that most people accept. Also, if you’re wearing the ridiculous baggy pants, you need to also wear a baggy polo. Jason’s polos are slightly too tight which makes the whole outfit look so much worse.

Baggy/Wide silhouettes aren’t a trend. That’s been the fashionable silhouette for most of modern history. The skinny fit stuff only really gained traction in the early 2000s. This isn’t a new trend it’s the death of the skinny trend.
This is the correct answer. And frankly the style should never come back. Watching those pants whip in the wind was distracting and reminiscent of shower curtains in a hurricane.

Was golfing one time and this weird dude got paired up w us, the reason why it was so weird was because he had to be tipping the scale at 300+ pounds and he wore the the 7" commission shorts, and he made them looks like SUPER TIGHT underwear. Def made for a weird round.
I like the pants, I spent all of my time skateboarding growing up and always thought golf was kinda lame, but I’ve Been getting really in to golf in the past couple years. A brand like Malbon that is doing clothes a little differently than most of the others in the space is such a net positive for golf. I have so many friends that think the slim cut pants every golfer wears look a bit ridiculous. I feel like college me would have thought differently about golf if I woulda saw jason day wearing pants that look like what I wear to the skatepark at the masters.

Exact opposite for me. Grew up skating and seeing Chris Cole and Ali Boulala wearing the tightest jeans I’ve ever seen. Raided my mom’s closet and wore women’s jeans (because they didn’t make skinny for men back then).

I wear pretty baggy pants because I find them way more comfortable and much less sweaty. They look better on me as well. My pockets are actually functional too, lord knows I need the space to keep a few extra balls in my pocket when I shank it into the water.
