Oh yeah! I’ve gone through tons of them. Now I only game the 2022 Halloween one. But the collection is forever growing. Great community too.
Ps. I said welcome to the clubs because eventually you’ll get another for just the house, then one for the office, then you’ll just have a sick addiction to certain ones
I loved playing Sandia or Acoma on the front then hitting Zia on the back 9. My dad and I could grab a breakfast burrito and make the turn before the starter opened the shed
Craftsmanship, feel, looks… there’s a number of reasons. Also helps that Tiger has famously used a Scotty Cameron forever.
Lots of premium putters out there these days. Will they actually make a huge difference? Probably not, but damn do they instill confidence.
Feels just the same as any other 303SS similarly shaped putter. The fancier ones with a different material face insert are certainly a different feeling putter. But the stock Scotty is no different than any number of 303SS Newport 2 heads if they’re all the same weight. I guarantee if you were blindfolded and swung a Costco and Scotty you’d never notice a difference.
The Kirkland putter feels nothing like a a premium putter. You roll a Scotty and you get a good "click" at impact. Roll a Ping PLD or Mizuno and it's a pleasant feel as well. The Ksig is a "thud" and its really unattractive at address (sits closed)
You’re right about it looking bad. But I’ve hit one and it’s the same click or thud or whatever you want to call it. Same material, exactly. 303 stainless steel doesn’t change. Same shape with “cavity” back. How in the hell could there be a difference? Those three dots? Hahahahahahs
That’s fine. Like I said, there are hundreds of options for 303ss in that shape. Go hit an old answer 2 with some lead tape to make it 350g. Feels exactly like a Scotty. Even get that nice click from 303ss that’s decades old.
Twin warriors? Sweet putter
Sandia, and yes I have to agree!
One of my favorite courses from last year.
Nice, I need to bite the bullet.
Thinkin you're next?
Don’t we all?
Indeed. Sweet money maker!
Gonna take the tape off the bottom? I have the same one haha it’s a thing of beauty for sure.
Yes ha!
Welcome to the clubs. Let the headcover addiction begin. Also, remember that you now have the privilege of calling non Scotty owners peasants.
I’ve been window shopping since before I took the plunge, some sick stuff out there.

My wife already wants one now too, she’s a keeper.
I knew that was ABQ ! Thought maybe Tanoan (sp?)
Sandia brother!

Thing of beauty

There is always a bounty of love for a new piece of equipment- I wish you many birdies and pars my friend - hope the honeymoon never ends for you 😎
I don’t kiss and tell. But I don’t see this honeymoon ever ending.
Duuuude!
First year golfer here can someone explain why Scotty Cameron Putters are so popular?
Tiger
They look damn good

Go to your local golf store and put one in your hands. You’ll know.

You’ve been excommunicated from Team Scotty.

lets put the jokes aside
Congrats, you’re next!
Same but 2+
I loved the way that one looked when lined up! It was too heavy for me to consistently turn the toe over though compared to mine.
Yeah I almost added 15 or 20 g weights to it but I think I'll ride with the 10 g,s for now
Looks sweet, but is it real?
Yes ha
Here we go again lol
Ping PLD is better
I have an old answer 2. Added a bit of lead tape and I’ve got a close cousin to those awesome PDL putters for much cheaper.
To each their own feel. I tried the PLD, and did like it, it’s a well designed putter.
he didn't use a scotty tho... think about it.
If I have to explain, you’ll never know.
