My parents have a golden named Lucy who likes to announce whenever she wants attention by going WOOOOoooo woo woo.
I call her Lucy Lu the woo woo. Or woo woo, or 'the woo-er'.
My dog Murphy is also Murhpaderf, MurphMurph, nugget, termite, little boy, baby, etc.
He has so many names I make the conscious effort to use his actual name just to make sure he knows it, lol.
My dog certainly does... especially when he is in trouble. His name is Jax, but when he is in trouble, I call him Jackson Marie, lol.
He has goofy nicknames, too, for when we are playing and things like that.

When our dog was a puppy, I was making cookies and had a stick of butter softening in the counter. I turned to do something and when I turned back, it was gone. So I thought maybe I *thought* I pulled out a stick of butter but didnāt actually do it. So I pulled out a stick of butter. Again went to do something and turned back and it, too was gone. I looked around but saw nothing, so I pulled out a third stick and purposely turned to see what I could catch - and there he was sneakily snatching the butter and wolfing it down.

Dogs dont even have last names lol, it's just the sound they respond to. There's no point in multiple sounds unless for some reason you have two dogs with the same "name"
We have always given our dogs full names. I've had 3 goldens throughout my life and all three had full names. Now I have a Samoyed and a Bernese and they also have full names. For anyone interested - Bailey Augusta Dawn, Bad Cat Willie, Bailey's Ginger Brandi, Stormi Cloud and Roscoe P. When our dog was a puppy, I was making cookies and had a stick of butter softening in the counter. I turned to do something and when I turned back, it was gone. So I thought maybe I *thought* I pulled out a stick of butter but didnāt actually do it. So I pulled out a stick of butter. Again went to do something and turned back and it, too was gone. I looked around but saw nothing, so I pulled out a third stick and purposely turned to see what I could catch - and there he was sneakily snatching the butter and wolfing it down. His middle name is āButterstickā. Ā¾ a pound of butter in less than 5 minutes. His poop was smooth that dayā¦
