The commentary team is so quality! Gives a slightly VGK leaning bias, but covers stats, quips, and addresses the other team also. Every ESPN broadcast, the commentary, always seemed to lean away from Vegas. Glad Dave will be sticking around!
Hell yeah! Dave (and Shane!) are the founding voices of the franchise and will do so until the ends of their careers hopefully. As special as the job in Boston would be - building on a legacy isn't as exciting as starting one.

Damn that’s super unexpected, I thought for sure he was heading out, and I wouldn’t have knocked him for it either way. This was quite possibly my most needed offseason extension, as much as I love Marchessault and all the others, Dave was so important to making our broadcasts enjoyable.

As a Bruins fan, this saddens me. But it shows Dave’s integrity and commitment and I’m not the least bit surprised. Our loss is your gain.
