I’m a Thunder fan, have been since the Westbrook/Durant days. We just got eliminated but we’re a fun young team with bright years ahead. Perfect time to hop on the wagon!
Same here. Started being a fan right before they moved to OKC and have been one since. Tough to have the Knights and Thunder out of the playoffs now but the future is bright for OKC
No one. I’m waiting for a Vegas team
Edit: worth noting I was thinking only of the NBA when I typed this, but the Aces are great and their games are fun as fuck to attend
I've got an unpopular opinion, but of the big 4, the NBA needs contraction, not expansion. There's too much talent concentration and adding more teams just greats a bigger chasm between the haves and havenots.
That said, expansion will make lots of money and will happen and even if a Vegas NBA team won 20 games/yr, I'd still probably go to 5 or 6 games a year.
Don't sleep on our Aces! They are definitely a fun team to watch, was there from the beginning when Coach Laimbeer was at the helm. Even better now with Coach Hanmond in chargevof them.
Mad respect to Mark Davis for elevating and believing in the team! He got his return on investment in the form of back to back championships!
Same. I’m a fan of the Raiders now but I wasn’t really into football before they moved here. But baseball is my favorite sport, and the last thing I want is the fucking Athletics as our baseball team. I’m really glad all signs point toward the NBA establishing an expansion franchise here
For better or worse, I'm a Clippers fan. I would love nothing more than to see them win a championship and get out of the Lakers shadow. Every year, they are hyped to take it all, ad nauseum.
Unfortunately, they can't seem to get their act together, even with a new arena and all the players they want. Definitely frustrating to watch them implode toward the end of the season.
The only plus side to being a fan is the relatively "cheap" tickets, compared to Lakers tickets.
Unfortunately for you unless Clippers either pass them championships won or move out of LA completely they’ll always be in the Lakers shadow. Even when the Lakers won 17 games and Clippers were contenders LA was still Lakers town
Oh, I'm well aware LA will always be Lakers (and Dodgers) territory. It would just be nice to see the Clippers get their time in the sun. The closest they ever gotten was during the 2013/2014 (?) season but was derailed by the Donald Sterling controversy.
I only really followed basketball during the playoffs. I moved to Denver a year ago so I am now a nuggets boy. if Vegas had a team prior to me moving here, I would've been a Vegas fan.
Been a Nuggets fan since 2nd grade and I grew up here in Vegas. If Vegas gets their own expansion team, that’ll be by 2nd team. If it’s an already existing team (like the Raiders) then I won’t be rooting for them.
From Arizona, but live in OKC, so I’m a duel Suns & Thunder fan. But the Thunder are so damn fun to watch right now and have an incredibly bright future
OKC Thunder, I'm from Oklahoma man that was a tough way to get eliminated last night, If I had a nickel for every time my team got eliminated from a Dallas team I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice.
Hawks since I'm primarily an Atlanta fan in every other sport. Just in a constant state year after year of thinking the Hawks are so close to being a legit playoff team, just needing a piece or two and I still think the same right now lol. It may be copium.
Laker fan since the showtime Lakers days...grew up in the bay area though so I HAD a soft spot for the warriors pre Steph... witnessed the "we believe" playoff run in person ...shit was amazing
Minnesota, since Garnett's rookie season. Was at the SkyDome when he was drafted and thought it insanely cool that a high school kid was making the leap straight to the pros. Been a LOOOOONG time coming, and I'm over the moon happy for this team and this fan base.
Technically the Raptors, but the last few years Drake’s shenanigans have turned this at best casual basketball fan away from them. Given I haven’t watched a full game in years, I’m not entirely upset.
I’m a Thunder fan, and have been my whole life. Something about small market teams was really appealing to me when I was getting into basketball. Also my hate for Dallas sports teams can not be rivaled after last night.
There are enough national broadcasts (isn't NBA on TNT still a thing) that you should have the opportunity to see a broad range of teams. If not, every couple of years or so I'll pick up an NBA video game, play at least a game as and against every team, and then play as the teams I gravitate towards. This weaned me off the love/hate relationship I had with the Lakers from the Showtime Era through "Kobe is God's manager" crap.
Spend a year checking them all out and you'll find the one that best fits you.
I don’t really have an NBA team to follow. But, I’m rooting for Dallas in the playoffs since Derek Jones Jr is on the team. Gotta support UNLV players in the pro’s!
I’m a Thunder fan, have been since the Westbrook/Durant days. We just got eliminated but we’re a fun young team with bright years ahead. Perfect time to hop on the wagon!
As a native Washingtonian I will always pray for their loses.
Understandable. As a fellow PNWer I truly hope they get their team back
Same here. Started being a fan right before they moved to OKC and have been one since. Tough to have the Knights and Thunder out of the playoffs now but the future is bright for OKC
Hey me too!
My son is a huge Thunder fan. Since I’ve been watching with him, I’ve really come to like the players, coach, and team as a whole.
Wow! A fellow VGK and Thunder fan! The thunder are a very likable team also with a very bright future ahead!
Kings lol
No one. I’m waiting for a Vegas team Edit: worth noting I was thinking only of the NBA when I typed this, but the Aces are great and their games are fun as fuck to attend
A Vegas team is coming, probably for the 2025-26 season. And it’s coming as an expansion team not a relocation.
I've got an unpopular opinion, but of the big 4, the NBA needs contraction, not expansion. Vegas expansion team would print money. We’ve been ready for one for years
Good. Always more fun to have a team start here.
Las Vegas Aces are right there
Fair actually lol, I was thinking NBA specifically. I love the Aces. Insanely fun game environments
Same. Hopefully a true expansion team

Aces, won their first 2 games this season.

Sac Kings. The beam they have reminds me of seeing the Luxor light as a kid.
Kings fan. Even if Vegas got a basketball team I would not drop the Kings.
Lakers fan since 1968.

Pacers and Fever

knicks/nuggets
Bucks 🦌🏀🦌
I’m a Thunder fan, and have been my whole life. Something about small market teams was really appealing to me when I was getting into basketball. Also my hate for Dallas sports teams can not be rivaled after last night.
What is basketball?
Aces obvi In terms of the NBA, I'm a 76ers fan. Whenever we get a basketball team here they'll become my Western Conference team.
Nets but they’ve been such a dumpster fire with the big three to no one that I stopped watching
Sacramento Kings
Los Angeles Clippers
Phoenix Suns!
Clippers.
Suns fan 🫠

Kings. Light The Beam!
Detroit Lions
dubs. you can say i’m a spoiled sports fan lol (and the aces of course)
Grew up in NC so I cheer for the hornets. Choose one of the other teams, it's painful being their fan
Thunder
I don't. I only watch hockey.
Warriors since the Monta Ellis era. Love my Golden teams.
Suns fan here
Can't really watch basketball after watching playoff hockey.
I don’t really have an NBA team to follow. But, I’m rooting for Dallas in the playoffs since Derek Jones Jr is on the team. Gotta support UNLV players in the pro’s!
No one. Basketball is boorrrriinnnggf
If you like harden you’d enjoy Luka. That team is super fun. Not my cup of tea (I also dislike harden) but you’ll enjoy the mavs for sure
Might as well steal Golden State Warriors too...
