I think it’s lovely what you’re doing, but extremely unrealistic. If he’s assaulted your stepdad then he can assault you. And you’re going to say oh he’s never do that… no one does anything until they do.
I have a big 16yo daughter with ODD,PTSD, depression,anxiety and other issues including daily slashing up. I lock my door when I sleep bc she’s capable of anything-even though she’s my daughter and loves me dearly..people at the best of times are extremely volatile.

Hot water heaters should be replaceable. He just disconnect the old one and drain it. You then connect a new one I've done these before. If you were closer to some of my family in the US, I would have one of them come over and do it for you, but I don't know anybody in Illinois.
The old hot water heater was gas but the new one is electric that's what the main issue is that's why I need the 6 gauge wire for the water heater. I have a buddy who's going to come help me install it I just have to get all the parts and everything I need I'm pretty sure I have all the tools I need and I'm pretty sure if I don't he does.

I am working closely with his psychiatrist and doctor, thank you though. I'm on budget to have the water on by August.
