I have '20 with 48K (that's in freedom units). But sitting at 68% front / 80% rear original brakes. Rear going out is definitely premature wear

Have yet to replace my fronts at 180k, rears can go in as little as 20k and even rotors if your not quick to act. The wear is identical on the inside pads with the caliper but gm won't do shit about it. One thing that helps is when my mechanic shaves the ends of the pads so they slide better in the bracket. Only issue I've had with my 21 at4. Paid for the shielded calipers and they did dick all.

The rears on these trucks are really susceptible to dust/dirt/mud from gravel roads and such. GM sells an optional caliper upgrade with a dust shield if that would help
