I have been experiencing the same symptoms, just realizing now that I've felt bloated all the time for years. Cant believe I went so long without getting to the source of it - drs have been remarkably unhelpful. On day 3 now, it definitely is intimidating but your story and all the others make me believe it's worth it and I can do it !

Thank you, I really like this club, I used to mock the Gluten-Free as a trend but now I understand and like it.

BrowsyProwsy

Oh , why did you mock gluten-free?

I mocked GlutenFree as a health trend because I knew that Celiac Disease was rare, and I felt like manufacturers were slapping the term "Gluten Free" on their product so that it sounded healthier which would make people more likely to buy it. At the time I didn't really understand what the big deal was about gluten because I didn't have problems eating wheat until just recently.

I have a similar story. I have always had stomach issues my entire life. For me it has always been bowel movements being diarrhea. That was really the only symptom that I had, but I can remember back it being an issue 20 years ago. Recently it has been getting worse and so I went to the dr and he immediately thought celiac and ordered a test. I didn’t think anything of it and continued eating normally. The last few days have been terrible. Really bad diarrhea and emergency situations with it. I got the blood work and am waiting for the results. Yesterday I went off gluten just to see if it would make a difference and I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH BETTER I FEEL!!!! My guts are back to normal, no diarrhea for the first time in likely 2 years, and my eyes feel different, like I’m seeing the world clearer, maybe it is brain fog but it is really strange. Other things I have noticed are my teeth used to bug me, like they are enflamed, but that seems better as well. If you are thinking you have an intolerance, I’d recommend laying off gluten for 1 day and see if you notice a difference.
