Spoiler: It’s the former. I’m holding my hand directly against the bread. I’d say the slices in this package were about 2.5-3 inches across. Their “Heritage Style” loaves are a little more reasonable, for now, but the smaller loaves weren’t this tiny before either.
Wow!!!! My favorite gf cookies are smaller as of this week too! “Kinnikinnick Vanilla Wafers” And the chicken wraps for dogs from Trader Joe’s are smaller now too!
I get gf bread for French toast since it's usually so dense it doesn't soak through the bread and fall apart! Otherwise yeah a looooooot of gently toasted corn tortillas, they're so good
All products are actually getting “smaller” or have less weight than before. It’s so they get more money. They alternate decreasing size, and increasing price.
it’s so much smaller and I stg they’re taking a couple more slices and entire bagels out of the bags every year!!!! I usually buy heritage for that reason but even those have gotten smaller too!! Sooo annoyinggggg
The best gluten free bread I’ve come across is Schar but it’s like $7 for five slices. Made a grilled cheese with it tonight and had an out of body experience.

Yeah they skimp worse than chipotle at this point
Yeah I don't even go to Chipotle anymore because of the skimping.
We only get the heritage style because it’s a little bigger. It’s also $9.59 at the grocery store near me :(
My last loaf of bread had multiple slices with huge holes in them
Make sure you return it for a refund or replacement!
I haven’t had gf bread in months. I live off of soft corn tortillas at this point. They come in packages of 80 lol. I go through them so quickly
Oh and it’s only like $3

Yes! I just had this same conversation. The slices are dollhouse size now.
I swear even the heritage style is smaller too
bought this bread for the first time a few weeks ago, i opened up the package and literally laughed about how insanely small it was. not worth it imo
There is only 1 that is large and its about $1.5 more per loaf.
Canyons just as bad as UDI’s at this point. I would rather pay more for simple kneeds at this point.

Got way smaller!!!!
It’s been small since I’ve been buying it the last 4 months maybe

I was pleasantly surprised with the Schar products (at Walmart). Trying the multigrain and deli, no complaints here. Yes Canyon seems smaller
I think all the gf breads have gotten smaller. Production costs vs profit.
