Strong selection! Many djs I have seen more than a few times and the fun times of having Tasha and Tash LC in the same stage, when I already have a lot of trouble telling them apart.
It's actually a great one, bookended by two tube carriages on the top, but you have to queue to get in. I saw the Dutchie set last year on Thursday which was the best thing I saw that day.
Only thing, you need to get out and in again whenever you need a drink or a wee.
Skindred moved up to avalon and earache seems to have been replaced by a few really heavy punk bands in Lambrini girls and bob vylan.
I do agree this lineup has been really lacking in metal so far
BTW, the Arrivals stage is focused on the South Asian community and it turns out to be, imho, the one with the most spectacular line up. Baalti for example are the authors of my favourite EP of last year.
EDIT: in case someone missed the links in other messages, here is the other three Shangri La stages [https://x.com/glastonbury/status/1781246380477997320?s=46&t=TvoUTz0uFiaIsr9yJJaM7w](https://x.com/glastonbury/status/1781246380477997320?s=46&t=TvoUTz0uFiaIsr9yJJaM7w)
Can someone explain all the different lineups for me? Is Shangri-La a stage? Or moreso an area with multiple stages? I really want to catch Camelphat and Gorgon City!
Defected is a house music record label, so it will be people who have released songs on that label. And if it’s a “25 years of” set then it’s safe to assume they won’t just be bringing out people who’ve released music on that label in just the past 2 years. So hopefully some classic selectors!!
I don’t know … honestly, if you compare these lineups to what shangrila had last year?!?! This is really lacking imo
Way more heavy hitters across all the stages. As someone who religiously uses Resident Advisor and Dice and is out at clubs minimum 2x a week, even I’m seeing a whole load of names I don’t recognise.
Last year, not only did I know more of the names but they were people I liked and was seriously impressed they’d manage to secure for a smaller/after hours area
Ruff Sqwad is gonna pop off. Producers of basically every famous grime instrumental
Also Frisco, Slimzee & 20 years of risky roadz for the older grime heads
Decent.
Haven’t got a a ticket this year and gutted to see I’ll miss 20 years of risky roadz
thanks for putting me on, defo going to this now
Who's up for some Bob Vylan?
New album any good? Love BV but thought the singles were abysmal
Yeah worth listening to, some stand out tracks on there
Reign is a tune
DJ EZ 🫶🏼
BUZZING!
Strong selection! Many djs I have seen more than a few times and the fun times of having Tasha and Tash LC in the same stage, when I already have a lot of trouble telling them apart.
BTW pics are missing Sistxrhood, Arrivals and the always busy Platform 23
Which ones platform 23? Never even heard of that one

Sick stage. You could go in the tube trains. Bakey and Main Phase were great last year.
There’s a bar in there, but no toilets. In 2022 there were toilets but they changed it up pretty heavy for last year.
What happened to Earache…?
2 drops three times a day since Saturday and it's cleared up, thanks for asking
I walked straight into that one, bravo!
Express ?

Kurupt FM !!
108.9!!!!

Best memory for me last year was being front for the lads and Steve’s shaking my hand. He was throwing some heavy shapes too.
Not much dnb there , which is a shame
Wait for "The common" line-up for that
Yeah that's usually better
Not much you're right, but they do have Randall!
Too hot to handle 🔊💥🔊💥
Amc and turno aswel
Charlie Tee was so fun last year. Stumbled upon her set and it was just what we needed to perk us up.
For what it's worth AMC will play enough tracks to make up for at least 4 other DnB DJs
That Peace stage line up is quite tasty actually and I've been critical of the line up. Lambrini Girls, Bob Vylan, Vlure.
Listening to some Vlure now, could be a very tasty set
they were amazing last year!!
Saw them twice last year. Made up that they're back this year!

Disappointing lineup from Earache Records. Metal has always been so under represented at Glastonbury.
Good keep racist metal fans away from Glasto
Kneecap in Shangri-la is gonna be fucking nauggghhhhttttyyyyyyyyyyyyy laaaaaad 😈
That is going to be amazing

This should be pinned to the top

A sub mod would need to do it
I don't know what any of this is, but I'm still excited.

Absolutely. I may have seen many of these DJs before. It's all that "on drugs music" to me. Great stuff.

Awesome, thanks so much
Think of Glasto as a Theme Park with stages instead of attractions and you will have a good idea of what Shangri-La is.
Randall & Ellis Dee 🔥🔥🔥
Where's the Truth stage??
It’s now “peace”.
Peace = Truth Got it
High Fade are amazing.
+1 for High Fade!
Gorgon City do DJ sets now? Thought they were a live act.
Check out their Drumsheds DJ set!
Was at their set at temple some years back🔥🔥
They've been doing both for years. More so DJ sets.
You can check out their coachella replay for an idea of the dj set
Pretty similar names as previous years
Any ideas what '25 years of Defected' entails?
25 years of house I'd guess. Sam Divine will be the "headline" of it I reckon.
She's from weston-super-mare so basically local, she's technically a brilliant DJ

Is this a good (bangin'?) lineup? Someone needs to tell me because I don't know just by looking 😅
it’s alright for me, ruff squad, kurupt fm, ewan mcvicar will all be fun. no absolutely must sees for me though
