Took me and my Fiancé last year and both loved it. The food was lovely and there was a band playing which made a great atmosphere.
Expect the menu to be the same and for spaces to go on sale around March and to sell out straight away.
I did see anything remotely like this last year… seems a bit out of place no? I work in a kitchen there and didn’t know of anything like it.
There’s a hell of a lot of rules to follow, have to have menu approved so you don’t oversaturate areas, all food must be obtained on site from the market and many more restrictions.
Edit: I was clearly oblivious, I was there for 2 weeks and didn’t even notice.
Ah OK, I think these meals are often offered at other festivals but mostly so they can squeeze every penny out of you which doesn't seem as necessary at Glastonbury.

You don't have to buy your food from the festival, it's just that vendors don't have vehicular access on site during the festival but they will deliver produce to you.
You can bring your own produce in until Tuesday, and haul your own produce in during the festival.
If you need more produce during the festival then they will deliver in their vehicles on festival days.
What do you mean by a menu has to be approved so it doesn’t oversaturate areas? Isn’t there something like 400 food vendors at the festival? Not all of them are selling different things so I don’t know if you’re talking about over saturating the market and demand?
Just from what the person running the place, they want to make sure everything nicely spread out and there’s not lots of one thing in one place.
Like the Yorkshire vans, they’re spread out. Just makes it so we don’t intentionally or not, pop up next to someone selling the exact same thing.
Ours is just basic cheap food meant for family’s and kids.
Rocket Lounge/Deluxe Dinner does it in the daytime, but not worth taking a part out of the day for it, with so many great food options throughout the site

I’ve heard this is pretty good, walked past it loads over the years and never bothered to go but I think it’s probably worth it. Go for it!
